Great food and service will take a while to get through it all but great price

Wouldn’t get our meat from anywhere else, always excellent quality and delivered to our door on time . Would highly recommend.

Good selection of meats and produce. Reasonably priced too. Highly recommend. Delivery was prompt and driver was helpful and friendly.

Ordered online. Picked up from store at my convenience. So simple.

I was disappointed with my recent delivery, which included rancid and inedible chicken wings. After contacting the company, I was denied a refund due to having disposed of the product. It seems illogical to expect customers to retain spoiled goods for a £4 refund. Even when I suggested retrieving the wings from the bin, the refund was still refused. Only after threatening a negative review did they offer a refund. The customer service team was also unimpressive, displaying abruptness and a lack of helpfulness. It's a shame they're willing to risk losing a loyal customer over a minor issue.

Website very misleading, I brought the weekly joint deal £45,on the advert it shows 5 items beef, chicken, pork, leg of lamb and mince but didn't receive the lamb leg as you had to add that on, very dissapointed not very clear. So why put a picture of it all on your website.

Friendly helpful man that delivered, had to return next day as the order was not complete and nothing seemed too much effort.

I look forward to my brogdale delivery the meat is always perfect

Delivery was earlier than expected which meant we didn't have to wait in all day for Delivery 👍

Received everything I ordered , friendly delivery

i went to brogdale butchers in dobbies on friday i bought three things one of which was braised steak in a tray by saturday night the meat has gone brown when i asked the butcher didn’t really want to know said was just normal i’ve just had to throw it all away also the ribeye i bought no much good either wont be revisiting

I Iook forward to Brogdale's offers on their excellent meats. Their service is really good and they are quick to address the vary rare issues.

I must admit, I was very disappointed with the ribeye steaks you sent me. The fillets were good but the rib-eye was very poor. too thin, no structure and felt amost under aged.

I have always placed fairly large orders. Delivery usually fine. To date, I haven't had any problems with the meat. Although my Dad recently ordered lamb and it was inedible.

My last order had chicken breasts missing (20-25 breasts). The delivery driver told me he would deliver Thursday or Friday. No tracking details sent, but as it was a mistake, I wasn't surprised by that. Having stayed in all day Thursday AND Friday, no delivery. I therefore emailed and it was agreed that it would be delivered today. So again today, I have stayed in all day. No delivery. I emailed early in the day to ask if there was a tracking link.

I do not consider this good enough service and will consider whether I would order from them again, which is a shame.

Placed an order for delivery on August 7th. I woke up early and stayed in all day specifically to receive the order but received absolutely nothing! This was my first order so thought they might at least have tried. Luckily I payed with PayPal and was ultimately refunded, God knows what would have happened had I not paid with PayPal! Most companies will keep you in the loop with regards to their delivery but upon receipt of my order there was no further communication and no tracking number was provided. Looking at other reviews on this site I might have dodged a bullet! I certainly won't be ordering from the Butcher of Brogdale again and definitely would not recommend them to anyone else! If you must order from them, I would recommend using PayPal to cover yourself in case of disappointment!

Meat is good quality, reasonably priced especially the “Ollie’s offers”. Delivery on time, delivered by a very polite and friendly man.

I recently decided to try Brogdale. I purchased a tray of four ribeye steaks for £20.

Unfortunately, the steak was not to my liking as it was very very tough to get through, my steak knife struggled to cut through it, and I ultimately gave it to the dog.

I returned to the store with the three remaining steaks and not to cause a scene I discreetly and calmly approached a staff member. I quietly explained my disappointment, but instead I was met with a defensive tirade. The employee insisted that no one else had complained and ignored my explanation about the missing fourth steak stating where is it! and rather than offering a solution or even a refund, he simply walked away ensuring to take the remainder of the steaks with him.

As I was leaving, I overheard the same employee berating me to other members of staff. I did not raise my voice but he did.

My advice to Brogdale is this: Have the common decency to wait until your customer has actually left the store before you start to deride them, and just like your steaks, your customer service was tough, tasteless and hard to digest.

Steaks and chicken breasts were great quality for the price. Really great service and quick. Plenty of other great value meat and poultry on offer
