Id heard Amazing things about this…
Id heard Amazing things about this company. And it took quite some time, to secure an order, as it was constantly sold old. When i eventually placed my order, it did arrive within a few days, which was very good. As we were having a heatwave, at the time, and orders were being delayed. Lovely packaging, but extremely disappointed, with the actual flavouring. The actual chocolate tasted very nice, but the Pistachio filling, was very thin. And there was only a slight taste, and it smelt of Mint. The other bar, was Pastel de Nata, the Portugese tart flavour. Unfortunately, the same disappointment, again. The filling tasted, exactly the same as a Cadburys Caramel bar. And also very thinly spread. The actual chocolate, is fine, its the filling & flavour, or rather, lack off. I paid £28 for 2 chocolate bars, which to be honest. I consider to be extremely expensive, for what they are

It's worth the wait
As a US customer it's always a little nerve racking ordering international but I've never had any issues with The Chocolate Smiths. Every order has arrived on time and undamaged.

Absolutely Amazing
I cannot recommend the Chocolate Smiths highly enough. Every bar we've ordered from them has been delicious and unique. The packaging is colourful and engaging, and the presentation of the bars is always amazing.
If you want some proper chocolate with a unique spin, The Chocolate Smiths are a perfect choice.

Chocolate is fantastic but when I had a problem with the delivery
Chocolate is fantastic but when I had a problem with item not being delivered, support was lacking. Replies were slow and no offer to help resolve problem. While the actually delivery problem was with Royal Mail, it would have been better if there was speedier more caring reply

Chocolate was phenomenal showed up super duper melted obviously didn’t affect the taste. But I was kind of bummed out that it showed up melted when I paid the same for packaging and shipping as i did for the product.
Taste: 10/10 amazing
Value: 7/10 17$ for one chocolate bar is a lot but I understand that this is a small business
Packaging: 5/10 I think people should wait until winter to order if they want their chocolate bar in a “BAR” or you guys should look into dry ice shipping.
Bonus points for the unboxing experience 10/10

We completely understand your disappointment at receiving a melted bar, particularly after paying international shipping costs. Unfortunately, chocolate and summer temperatures can be a very tricky combination, which is why we do recommend that our international customers in particularly hot climates consider ordering during the cooler months where possible.
We really appreciate your suggestion regarding temperature-controlled shipping too. As a small business, this isn’t something we currently offer, but feedback like yours is incredibly useful as we continue to look at ways of improving our international deliveries.

Lovely choc but hard to get
It took ages to get to me - I completely understand why (heat) but it does mean that will impact how likely I am to order it for anything with a timeframe eg gift etc. Also it's quite expensive, which when paired with the fact it has to be shipped out of the UK to the EU means I have to pay a bit extra in tax which isn't great. I understand why it's pricey as there are many elements included and it's handmade, but the timing and added cost of shipping make it harder to justify. I know the shipping isn't your fault at all, but it's still a factor.
I could only get one of the flavours I really wanted to try because they sold out so fast, a great problem for you to have but not so much for me! I found the flavours and fillings to be quite rich and a lot, so the chocolate will last a while as I was done after 1 piece! My husband loved Nana's biscuit tin as it's not as rich as the others, so I would buy that one again for sure, though I'd love more chunks of biscuit!
Overall it's lovely chocolate, packaging is fantastic etc but the biggest things working against me buying again are logistical things that aren't really your fault.

I find it difficult to order. If your not on the site at the exact time you've basically got no chance to buy the chocolate that you want
Ive enjoyed the bars ive managed to get but its disheartening when you log on 2 mins late and they are already out of stock!

Best chocolate bars ever!
I tried for weeks and weeks to get some chocolate bars. The wait was way beyond what we expected. These are the best bars I’ve ever had. Only wish I wasn’t thousands of miles away. Beyond talented chocolatiers! You must try!!

What can I really say about these chocolate bars.
Probably the best bars I’ve bought,ever.
Yes some flavours are a little bit odd for some but the ingredients the care taken with every bar is above and beyond honestly.
Yes they can take a while to get to you but it’s not that bad and well worth the wait.
Biggest issue is getting the bar you want as they sell like wild fire!
Tried the forest gateaux it was amazing.
Just had the baklava bar(just the standard bar)and that was also another level of taste.
Worth the wait and the money.
Will hopefully get to try everything 👍
