Amazingly quick response to my query, extremely helpful in guiding me with my issue. I'm very happy on how everything is being handled and very grateful to be a part of a great union

Yesterday I received a phone call from an unknown number. It was a Workers Union representative. Who did contact me in regards to my negative review. After all my ignored emails, they called me only after I left a negative feedback publicly! They were surprised why I made a negative comment. I mentioned their ignorance and no responses to all the emails I have sent. His answer was 'we get a thousand emails'. Which clearly shows they are understaffed and can't manage inquiries. Why email address on the website then? Since they don't have a phone number either. Gentleman had an answer to that as well 'we prefer technology'. If the phone is not a 21st century technology then I really question their knowledge of anything. I was offered a REFUND IF I WILL DELETE A NEGATIVE COMMENT. However I was requested to delete first before any refund as it is damaging their business. Later they changed the statement and under my review The Workers Union stated 'We can therefore only assume that you are writing this feedback on behalf of another person.This has been verified by yourself when we requested "more information" via Trustpilot'. INCORRECT! Trustpilot requested the info only the next day. As we can see, my comment on the 8th of April, after I have submitted all the proof including my name, surname, bank statement with transaction and Workers Union subscription. My review has been VERIFIED by Trustpilot!
Please be careful everyone ! I am sure I am not the first one who got offered a refund or some sort of compensation to delete the negative experience I had with them. I hope The Workers Union are proud of the money I have paid without receiving any of their services. Hope it will benefit their one man business!

The person who called me (sorry I didn't memories of the name) was very kind and helpful! he explain to me very well about all steps which I should follow in my issue raised.

I spoke to Carl on the phone today in regards to passing my probation and some challenges I face at my new role at Harrods. Carl was very professional understanding and made great points for why and how I should make it happen. Thank you for your support again as it is really helpful.

Absolutely awful. When it comes to a genuine matter that requires support, nil response. I have written to the head office requesting my money back, if they cannot assist me. Will not renew with them.

Cancelled policy years ago and keep taking money every year. Cannot contact anyone by any means. DO NOT USE

Finally been called back by the union on the 7th of Feb for the first time.
Good information been provided but i still insist to resolve the communication issue they have.

Since writing my initial review I am happy to say that a representative from The Workers Union has been in touch. A lovely soft spoken gentleman has promised to refund my subscription after I update my review to note this and I'm really grateful for this conclusion. They are a conciliation service just not a trade union. Thank you.

I Googled Workers of England Union and this website came up at the top of my search. Believing them to be the trade union in question I joined and paid the required £96 annual fee. I then heard from a work chat that people had been duped into signing up to an organisation called The Workers Union who were not a trade union and could not represent me, and to my horror I realised I had fallen for this. I tried emailing the organisation, and a week later I still have not had a response. I called my bank who said they would look into getting my money back for me. They had a phone number for the company but sadly when I tried it comes up invalid number. Since looking into the company I can see an Advertising Standards Agency ruling against them.

Finally all has been resolved. Just be careful when signing up as there is currently no monthly subscription, only yearly. Also there is no way to make direct contact and when sending a general query it is not monitored. Refund received finally.

I had an issue at work, which proved extremely stressful to me and i was cocerned about my prospects and what would happen in the future. But it all seems to have turned around for the best and i just want to say a huge thankyou to Anthony whos enthusiasm and zest for other beings wellfare really helped me to focus on whats important in life. The man deserves a medal in my eyes. Thankyou anthony and thankyou workers union.

Spoke about an employment issue, the person that rang me back was very helpful, professional and considerate, this is the 2nd time I’ve asked for help this year and I would recommend this union.

Had a chat with a really lovely chap today. Had a query on my account but he sorted it for me. Very forward thinking Union just what we need in the 21st Century.

The workers Union are the most honest and helpful people I know, very good advice no stone left unturned. Very polite and sincere.

I was contacted less than 24 hours later and given sound and helpful advice in how to handle my issue.

Join these people in March this year pay £73 when I wanted a representative I couldn't get any contract with them I send lots of emails no reply when I come on here Anthony contact me and I ask for a refund and he said ok now you sending me an email with PayPal telling to follow the link which I'm not doing I would like my money back in my account are else, you are a set thief and con artists

At first when I joined they seemed ok but once I started having issues with my workplace and mentioned who I work for they seemed scared to tackle them I thought, the last letter I got from work, i was asked to have a union rep attend, I asked the union and was told I didn’t need one there(again I felt they were scared to attend) so after my meeting with work and no rep there, I was dismissed from employment on capability medical grounds, I didn’t know what to say to them, I contacted union only to hear from the man that it’s fine, I’m getting a small pay out and again was told he didnt need to be there speaking up for me, I will not be renewing my membership with the workers union, total waste of money paid to them, be careful if you work for a big company as they scared to help you deal with them x thanks for nothing the workers union,

you cannot contact these people by phone and they do not respond to emails that are sent. I wasted money and now can't contact them to cancel my subscription and the account gives me no option to edit - just a box to upgrade - completely useless they have been no help
