Loved staying right in the middle of an historic castle town
Loved staying right in the middle of a small, historic castle town with a Michelin-starred restaurant on the grounds of the original manor house! Although you really need a car, Castle Combe is close proximity to many other scenic areas and a wonderful golf course. We easily drove into Bath several times and to Stonehenge. The host was communicative and responsive to any questions or requests. The street parking in Castle Combe is challenging and the stairs in the cottage were steep with plush carpet.

This one bedroom condo had everything we wanted for a stress free vacation.
Staff on property were all professional and personable. Very convenient Free Parking garage. A convenient 2 minute walk to Main St. where restaurants, shops and a ski lift with beautiful views are waiting!

The ThirdHome website is pretty well done; pretty easy to use. I was unhappy that ThirdHome does not allow whole timeshare weeks using points to be submitted, but don’t state that anywhere.

What an absolutely wonderful stay.
From the moment we arrived, our ThirdHome stay in Castro Marim completely exceeded our expectations. The house is genuinely stunning — incredibly spacious, beautifully presented and with everything you could possibly need for a fantastic family holiday. The photographs really don’t do justice to just how impressive the property is.
We stayed as a family of five and it was perfect. There was so much space for everyone to relax, a fantastic pool and wonderful outdoor areas, yet the house still felt incredibly comfortable and homely. It quickly became one of those places you genuinely look forward to coming back to at the end of the day.
The location was also superb. Castro Marim proved to be a brilliant base for exploring this beautiful part of the Algarve. We visited Monte Gordo, Vila Real de Santo António, Faro and even popped across the border into Spain, while also having days where we simply enjoyed the house, pool and surroundings.
The whole ThirdHome experience was excellent — easy, seamless and a wonderful way to enjoy such a beautiful property and destination.
We made some fantastic family memories here and were genuinely very sorry to leave.
Thank you, ThirdHome, for another wonderful experience. It was a very special part of our Portugal holiday and exactly the kind of family experience that makes ThirdHome membership so worthwhile.
An easy and very well-deserved 5 stars from all five of us. Highly recommended.
