I was in the front row and a good number of the seats around me were vacant despite them being sold on the seating map

Like we all suspect there must be some scam happening via ticketmaster for the top tickets (not going to real people)

I would not be surprised if they are "in on it"

There is no customer service. No phone. Automated email responses. Probably agentics. Just awful. A disgrace for a large company operate this way. Imagine if you couldn't call an airline about an issue with a flight!!

Ease of use. Kept the purchaser updated with information regarding the venue and do's and don'ts.

We booked tickets for a Don Maclean concert at the State Theatre. It was beyond disappointing - more like shocking. So many people walking out. One said, 'I left after six songs. The singing was putting me under the seat like a dog in a thunderstorm'. Never heard worse 'singing' in my life. Don Maclean cannot sing a note in tune. He cannot find the melody, he cannot reach any high notes, he talk-sings and comes across as disinterested, lazy, and couldn't-care-less. Ticketmaster should surely know that Don Maclean is clearly no longer the performer he once was and stop taking people's money, promising something they will never receive. We handed over a lot of money to get nothing in return except bleeding ears and disappointment. We left empty-handed.

I was really disappointed in Don's McLeans performance, he was out of tune and flat. It was the worst concert I have ever attended with regard to the main performer's ability to sound something similar to his hits of the past.

Absolutely loved the energy and show. But as the show went on, the Sound guy turned up the volume so loud, the music was distorted and my ears were ringing and sore. This should not have happened at all at a show. Please protect your audience with strict sound volumes. Totally unacceptable.

1/2 hour support artist but then it was 40 minutes wait for main act who struggled with his voice

It was easy enough to book, and the venue was excellent although the steps done could be an issue for some. The staff all seemed pleasant and professional. The show was good, but Don McLean is clearly ageing. All good, many thanks.

I feel it is up to Ticketmaster to inform those who purchase tickets for a concert that the concert will not, in fact, start at the advertised time. Not until we arrived at the State Theatre did we see a sign that said an opening act would start at 7.30 pm for 1/2 hour, then a 30 minute intermission, and the main act would start at 8.30. The opening act was terrible and the intermission lasted 40 minutes. Altogether a very disappointing experience.

Unfortunately the show was disappointing. Don McLean doesn’t have voice he once did and sang in the wrong key a lot of the time not able to get to the higher notes as he one did. Although he covered all his best known songs speaking to others after the show they were also disappointed evidenced by several people leaving part way through the show.

Spent ova 800 for a 6pm show. It got changed to 5pm and My mother had a heart problem and got taken to the Alfred hospital by ambulance!!

Don McLean was terrible.

He has lost his ability to sing.

He should not be performing.

I have wasted the price of the tickets for my wife and me!

Never again!

The show was very entertaining and we enjoyed it immensely

My purchase of tickets was straight forward as was showing them on my phone at the Atheneum Theatre to see this excellent play, The Shark is Broken.

You changed venue and then changed our seats to seats further from the front row we had booked and had done responding to the sale of tickets immediately to get the best seat position. The change in this, even due to venue change is very disappointing and not what we originally paid for. I did send in an email documenting this, but had no reply, which again was very disappointing and not what would be expected from Ticketmaster.
