Lenovo Carbon X1 laptop
Great service, fast delivery & although the Lenovo Carbon X1 laptop was sold as grade B it looks perfect to me. This is the second Lenovo carbon i have bought from Tier 1. I bought the 3 year warranty and the first was replaced after 18 months when it developed a screen fault. The warranty return was painless and efficient and is one of the reasons I'm using Tier 1 again. I only purchased a replacement now as the original cannot be upgraded to windows 11 but am delighted by the performance improvement moving to an 8th generation machine

Fantastic quality and exceptional service...
This was my first experience of buying from Tier 1 and one that I would wholeheartedly recommend!
I bought a refurbished Lenovo laptop which appeared as new, and when I realised my existing docking station was incompatible, an alternative was sourced immediately.
The entire process in general was superb and the customer service form Leona was exceptional....can't recommend them highly enough!

Prompt replacement under Guarantee
Have been using them for years, never disappointed. Bought a laptop in April 2025, which then developed a hardware fault in October 2025, emailed Customer Service and they sent me a replacement laptop straight away. Excellent service, great company.

In my previous review, I expressed my disappointment, but I must admit that once I got in touch with customer support, and they provided the right email to contact the experience completely changed. They not only replaced my laptop but also upgraded it, which I truly appreciate.
I want to give special thanks to Julie Pearce, who has been extremely efficient, helpful, and supportive throughout the process.
Mistakes can happen but what really matters is how things are handled afterward. I’m happy to say that everything is now resolved, and I’m very satisfied with the outcome.

Probably the worst customer support…
Probably the worst customer support ever from a supplier!
Laptop battery failed while it was still under warranty,
3rd attempt to deliver a battery resulted in the wrong manufacturers battery, sent in a jiffy bag with no bend protection.
Next attempt resulted in correct manufacturer, but wrong battery, despite being assured it was the correct one!
Still waiting for a replacement after a month!

First time using Tier 1 online after being recommended by friends. I was sceptical as I had never brought a refurbished item. I spoke with Julie from the online customer service team and she was extremely easy to talk to, was understanding of my situation and talked me through the various options best suited to my needs and price range. Julie was lovely to interact with, was attentive to my individual circumstance and truly gave me confidence in buying a refurbished laptop from Tier 1 online. I bought a grade C product however I was extremely pleased when I received the product that it was in excellent condition (a friend previously bought a grade C too, was also in great condition and still uses it some years later!). Overall a great experience in terms of product and service. Would highly recommend and intend to use again in future!

5 star service from Leona
Laptop arrived as described after having been serviced under warranty whilst held by Tier1. Unfortunately after 6 weeks the laptop broke due to manufacturer flaws. Lenovo required a full invoice to service under warranty which Leona provided me very promptly as the laptop was purchased via eBay. Leona then followed up by sending a full service history for the machine and was very attentive in providing fast and helpful responses. I’d definitely buy from Tier1 again.
