It's a cute bag but is too rigid
It's a cute bag but is too rigid and stiff. Even the shoulder pad is stiff as a board. I had to quit using it because it was like carrying around a plastic crate. It was not cheap.

Very cool bag
The ability to build a custom bag was very cool. The tool to select the different colors, materials, pipping and accessories took me a little bit to get the hang of but once I did, it went quickly. The quality of the bag is just what I expected (very high) and I'm hoping my son will carry this bag for as long as I have had the one I bought 20+ years ago

Good messenger bag, but strap attachment could be improved.
The messenger bag is functioning well. Its lightweight and compact design is easy to carry. I didn’t give it 5 stars because of the design of the shoulder strap. The ends are fixed instead of connecting to a swivel clip. Making it necessary sometimes to have to untwist the strap to carry the bag over the shoulder properly.

The bag itself is well made
The bag itself is well made, but I really don't like the huge buckle on the strap. I also wish there was a pocket on the outside that had easier access than having to open the bag to get my phone or keys, for example.

Great product, but the warranty process lacks transparency
I had enjoyed using my Timbuk2 for a long time, but my recent experience with the repair process was a letdown. I provided clear photos of the issue, yet the company wouldn't tell me if the repair was covered under warranty until I shipped the bag to them at my own expense.
Because the issue was 100% borderline and could've gone either way, I didn't want to risk the shipping costs and the repair center’s time without a preliminary assessment. This lack of upfront clarity makes the "Lifetime Warranty" feel a bit challenging to use.

The experience is great
The experience is great. The bad I use for traveling. I have to smaller and larger version. I love that I don’t have wheels clacking against the floor. It really makes my calves look bigger. I’ve been called a Greek God while carrying my bag through Clear at the airport. I will say that my next purchase will be a sling bag that accentuates my shoulders.

High price for what you get
High price for what you get. I justified the purchase with the lifetime warranty but read the fine print carefully. Any fault can be attributed to “normal wear and tear”.
