Good, sturdy messenger bags

I love the custom messenger bags and that they arrive so quickly. The stitching is strong and the bag is well organized. I now have my signature set. I think they are going to last for a very long time.

Delivery time way too long.

Ordered a Classic Messenger bag on July 4. It was delivered today, on July 15.
2-5 business days, as written on the homepage, is not very accurate.

The Timbik2 Scholar Convertible Backpack is the BEST!!!

This review is for a recent purchase. I'm leabving it here because the review link in the email did not work:
For a while I had been looking for the perfect backpack. I believe I have found it in the Scholar Convertible Backpack! The backpack is exceptional, not too big, not too small and rthe extended hand straps allow you to hold it as a tote if you don't want to use the back straps. Love the bag!!

Great warranty repair policy!

They fixed the broken zipper on a bag for free that I'd bought many years ago without proof of purchase! The whole process was very easy.

Very quick service

Very quick service. I'll hold my final review once I see the product. I currently have a Timbuk2 backpack which I thoroughly love. I expect the same with this luggage.

What an amazing company!

What an amazing company!! I've had a Timbuk2 messenger bag for almost 20 years and absolutely loved it to death - almost literally. Rather than put it in a landfill, I asked if it could be repaired. The exterior was in almost perfect shape still (a huge testament to the durability of the brand) but the lining had gotten brittle over time and was coming apart. I sent it in and for a very small fee they completely redid the lining and sent it back. It's like a new bag!! I can't recommend these bags enough. Tough as nails and amazing company values.

I’ve had my bag for 15 years and used…

I’ve had my bag for 15 years and used it almost daily. The straps finally started giving away and I shipped it back and they repaired it for free. You get what you pay for!

I bought a Timbuk2 laptop backpack 12+…

I bought a Timbuk2 laptop backpack 12+ years ago and the zipper eventually failed. I contacted Timbuk2 and they accepted it for warranty repair. They had it repaired so well I can't tell the zipper was replaced. It was back in my hands in no time!

Impractical repair process because of US tariffs

Because of US tariffs, it is currenly difficult for people living in Canada to send out items to be repaired down in the U.S. as per current Timbuk2 process.
The company should seriously examine the possibililty of out sourcing repairs in Canada for Canadian clients.

The service I received at the Toronto…

The service I received at the Toronto store was professional and respectful. I am a 70 year old man and being ignored or treated with impatience is not uncommon for me. The young woman who helped me manage this situation was remarkable.

It’s nice to be able to customize my…

It’s nice to be able to customize my bag with colors and options. I had one of these bags about 20 years ago and I missed having a messenger bag.

They’re honest about how slow they are

They’re honest, they said on their website it could take 5 days to make a shipping label, and it did in fact take 5 days to make a shipping label. For FedEx. Whose job it is to make shipping labels.

Still haven’t dropped my package off at a pickup location though.

Please move the grab handle

Love the look of their messenger bags.
Love the fabric choices and colors for the custom option. I have bought 2 custom ones...
But the grab handle sits so low on the back of the bag that if you have a laptop in it, it carries by the handle like a cake carrier (Flat instead of vertical). They are sooo close to amazing. Please test and consider lifting the grab handle up a bit. Thank you

Timbuk2 worked very nicely…took it from SoCal to Minnesota to Austin then back home…all packing held nicely and worked very well!

Very streamlined and simple bag repair…

Very streamlined and simple bag repair experience with Timbuk2. This started with a very helpful call with a customer care agent and then with a simple form completed online in about 4 minutes. Staff at your Toronto store were very helpful and friendly with the drop off for shipping. Timbuk2 then kept me informed every step of the way with email updates on the repair process and finally return shipping. This is why Timbuk2 makes the best bags on the planet and why I will continue to be a loyal customer into the future.
