I had a very distressing experience having a tooth removed here under the NHS. The appointment was advised to last up to 45 minutes, with the procedure itself booked for 25 minutes. In reality, from the moment I sat in the chair to the extraction being completed, the entire process took six minutes.

Within around 30 seconds of sitting down, a local anaesthetic needle was administered without any warning, explanation, or attempt to reassure me. I had already explained that I was anxious about the procedure, but this was completely ignored. There was no discussion of what would happen or opportunity to feel prepared.

The extraction itself was carried out very quickly and forcefully, with no communication throughout. I felt rushed and extremely uncomfortable, and the lack of care and empathy made the experience traumatic.

After the extraction, I was given minimal aftercare advice. Due to ongoing pain, I later attended my regular dentist (at a different practise), who advised that the extraction site should have been sutured and that the failure to do so has likely contributed to the infection I am now experiencing.

This experience fell far below the standard of care I would expect, particularly for a nervous patient. I would not recommend this practice.

Don't trust this dental practice. They are aware of mouth cancer but refused to refer back to the hospital. That is illegal in it's own right as the treatment is for septal mass removal ie granuloma tumour.

I had to have a wisdom tooth removed, not something to anticipate with pleasure, however the team at Together Dental were great, friendly and efficient, and put me at my ease. The extraction was amazingly fast, with the surgeon explaining everything so I knew what to anticipate. I was given full instructions as to aftercare, together with emergency numbers if needed.
Suffice to say that it all went very well and I am very satisfied with my experience.

We went for a 14:00 appointment and the lift was closed so i was left on the street stressing i am going to miss my appointment with two crying toddlers. No one was picking up the phone for me to let them lnow what is going on. Turns out they were at lunch. The voice on the hold assured me the call was important and that they would be with me shortly. Instead everyone was ignoring the phones together and had shut the lift ( with no notice or explanation so you understood what was going on). Receptionists were moody, not child friendly and made me feel like a problem for being there.

The dentist was very kind and understanding. Black and white service.

Very good dental surgery. Would highly recommend. Very pleasant and professional staff.

2x wisdom teeth extraction

2nd time to a dentist in 25 years. Crazy I know!!

At the start the dentist was very straight quick to the point that mad me feel in easy. But in reality he didn’t give me time to think or panic.
Nurse was lovely and could see I was nervous.

All in all was pleased with the service.

I cannot fault the treatment I receive at Together Dental - my dentist is extremely caring and understanding my nervousness when sitting in the chair.
Unfortunately at my last appointment I was failed in the care shown to a 72 year old who struggled to climb the stairs which are extremely steep. I explained to one of their Dental Nurses I couldn't go back down the stairs to use the lift. The times displayed on their website and Google page say they are open 8.30 to 17.30. No mention of closure for lunch! I explained to the Nurse my predicament but she refused to provide a chair and left me standing, stating her manager refused to provide a chair. I have never had a problem arriving early previously so was unaware of their new rules of closing for lunch and as I said its not on the website. I travel an hour to get to the practice. I'm surprised they left an elderly lady standing for 20 minutes.

I was very nervous about having a tooth removed, but the Dentist esplained everything before he started, aswell as during the extraction. It was over so quickly, No pain. Thankyou so much to the professionalism of my Dentist.

Disappointed with my recent visit
All my previous visits to Together Dental were excellent, and I always felt fortunate to have them as my NHS dentist. However, my appointment yesterday was extremely disappointing. The check-up seemed rushed—barely lasting three minutes—and I left feeling that £27.40 for such a brief consultation was not reasonable. I hope this is not the standard going forward.

Reception team are also professional.

Nice staff, newly decorated offices and equipment. Service was excellent though only 4 stars as prices were on the high side for this area.

Was seen ahead of time and the whole experience was ver profesional for both of us.
