I’ve had the lovely ladies contact me all the time afterwards checking im doing okay. I can contact them and they are always there to help.

Simple things like being able to communicate for some things via whats app. They help.

Great experience from start to finish!

I was so well looked after pre and post surgery. Very friendly staff, nurses and doctors, put me at ease. They have been there every step of the way and continue to be so.

From day 1 Tonic were very supportive of what i needed and there wqs zero pressure to make a decision until i was ready.

Tge whole team have been so incredibly supportive from my inotail call to consultation, at the hospital and i must say the after care has far exceeded my expectations. All the key support roles are easily reachanle at times that suit me and i get a call every few weeks to check in and see how im doing!

The psychotherapists really take the time to get to know you and learn what methods can best support your mwntal progress whilst liasing with other memvers of the team so everyone is working from the same page. Harry has been very apprpachanle and supported changes to my movement ti better suit my needs and likes/dislikes and the weekly webinars are a great way to connect with other patients. Abir has had a nutritional challenge with me but always works to fi d alternatives that can really support my new me.

I had an rny gastric bypass 11 weeks ago today and can ho estly say the team at tonic have changed my life. Im down ove 5 stone already and enjoying new fi d life and freedom with my kids so all i can say is a massive thank you and reccomend this provider to anyone looking to empower themselves to make a change

I had a 360FDL on the 26th of July with the fabulous Professor Hindocha. The care, support and reassurance has been absolutely incredible. Both Rebecca the Tonic Nurse, Lisa Professor Hindocha’s secretary and Professor Hindocha himself have been on the ball and so attentive. I’ve had a few hiccups but they have all made me feel 150% supported. I couldn’t thank them enough and would highly recommend both Tonic and Professor Hindocha. For my next surgery I will definitely use them again. 🤗

I had a gastric sleeve with tonic surgery on 2023 with Mr Alkhafaff and my experience from beginning to now has been fabulous. I was very well looked after by Mr Alkhafaff and nurses at The Alexandra Hospital. I had a lot of input from Rebecca, psychotherapist which was very useful as well as Lisa dietician. I never used Harry, PT much but his online advice and posts were always very helpful. The admin team are very responsive and friendly when you contact with a question and they frequently reach out to check in. Would highly recommend tonic surgery! Well worth the money

I honestly cannot thank Tonic Weight Loss enough for everything they have done for me, from the very beginning right through to my surgery and ongoing aftercare.

My decision to have bariatric surgery wasn’t simply about losing weight. I had struggled for years with my weight alongside a number of medical problems, including metabolic disease. I had also previously had a stroke and have an immune disorder, and losing weight had become extremely difficult for me. I had tried Mounjaro and Wegovy, but unfortunately neither worked for me.

I also have a stoma and a gigantic parastomal hernia. I had been waiting a long time on the NHS and felt let down, but there was a lot of uncertainty about whether they could do the gastric bypass because of my existing mesh, stoma and weight.

I needed to lose a substantial amount of weight before I could have my hernia surgery. In the end, my husband and I decided to look into Tonic Weight Loss privately after seeing them advertised. I felt reassured that they were UK-based, reputable and that my surgery would be carried out at Luton and Dunstable Hospital. From the beginning, I felt completely safe and supported.

I had my gastric bypass earlier this year with the highly skilled Mr Askari, and it has genuinely changed my life. I have lost a substantial amount of weight and am still losing, although my journey has been slower than some people’s.

The weight loss hasn’t repaired my hernia — I am still waiting for that surgery — but it has made a real difference to managing my stoma. My stoma and its output are much easier for me to manage now, and losing the weight has helped me get to the point where I can move forward towards having the hernia repaired within the next few weeks.

For someone in my situation, that has been incredibly important. My stomach is a different shape because of the hernia, which has caused difficulties with my stoma and getting my bag to fit properly. Losing the weight has helped make things more manageable while I wait for the next stage of my treatment.

Bariatric surgery isn’t a quick fix, and it does require commitment. I have to take additional vitamins, have B12 injections, drink plenty of water and make sure I look after myself properly. But for me, it has been absolutely worth it.

After years of struggling with my weight and feeling unhappy in myself, I finally feel that I am moving in the right direction. This surgery has given me the opportunity to lose the weight I needed to lose and, importantly, to get myself into a better position for the hernia surgery I need. I have tried different diets which made my weight yo-yo, I tried different medications for weight loss and nothing worked.

Tonic have been wonderful from start to finish. Everyone’s circumstances are different and bariatric surgery is a very personal decision, but my experience has been extremely positive.

Today mark 6 months since i had my breast augmentation and tummy tuck with Tonic on 13 February 2026, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with my experience and results.

I booked in to have a gastric sleeve I am now 5 weeks po, I was so scared the day of surgery arrived and I was terrified but Mr dexter and the anthethatist was amazing put my mind at rest so much and the nurses after surgery were amazing constantly checking in it does stop there the aftercare is brilliant always at the other end of the phone if you need them would 100% recommend tonic they have been amazing from the start.

Professor Alkhaffaf and his team were extremely pleasant and highly proficient. I made a speedy recovery and didn’t suffer a lot of pain or discomfort. The scars have healed very well and are now barely visible.

I have for many years considered weight loss surgery. I was always nervous, put off by friends and family, I wanted to go abroad in view of the prices however from the moment I spoke to my patient coordinator, I felt at ease. From the very first phone call in April when I enquired to now being 4 weeks post op, the support has been amazing.
Everything has been as promised with all the aftercare and check ins.
My only wish is that I had of found this company sooner!

Had support from the very first phone call and it is still available if needed. The consultant, nurses, fitness experts and admin were informative, knowledgable and pleasant. No judging, just reassurance and positive encouragement. You have to be committed to the programme but it works and is so worth the effort. Losing weight helped me to undergo hip replacement surgery sooner than would have been possible before. I have no doubt it has been the best thing even for someone in their sixties

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. From the beginning of my journey, the staff were kind, caring, and very reassuring. I had constant contact with a nurse, dietician, PT, and the surgeon. The hospital and surgery was outstanding and the aftercare team are very thorough and have regular check ups to ensure you get the best out of your procedure. I would highly recommend TONIC.

I am so glad I went with Tonic! I had a terrible experience with another private hospital local to me and then someone recommended Tonic. I gave them a call and I immediately noticed the difference. They are genuinely caring, compassionate and highly professional. Within minutes they had arranged for me to speak with a surgeon and within 1.5hrs he called me to discuss everything. My surgery was arranged quickly and appropriately. I am now 11 days post surgery. The care I received at Derby private hospital was absolutely incredible! Honestly I didn't even know that level of hospital care existed! The room was absolutely massive and beautiful, everything immaculate. My support team are amazing, daily nurse calls, dietician support, a psychotherapist to help me deal with the emotional and mental challenges of not relying on food as a comfort anymore. It's all amazing. Honestly if you are thinking of having this type of surgery then go with Tonic! As far as I can see it's literally impossible to get care better than this as it's gold standard. I had my surgery October 2025 , wow it’s been life changing. I am still on my journey but since having surgery in October I am 6stone 11lbs down, a uk size 20 down to a 12. I can’t thank my surgeon enough and the team at tonic for always being on hand even if it’s for the silly of questions. Honestly life changing best Decision I ever made. Thank you Tonic.
