I saw a dress I really liked and to offset the enormous $50USD shipping fee to Canada, added a few extra small sale items. 8 hours later I received a message from Torrid stating that the dress I really wanted was no longer available and they were shipping the other things. I contacted Torrid immediately (less than 24 hrs from the original order) and explained the situation and tried to cancel, and they said it was too late (Although it took another 6 days before I got the notification that they had shipped my stuff,) the stuff arrived (2 weeks later) and was awful and I asked to return it. They don't reimburse shipping or cover return shipping to Canada, so it would have cost me an extra $40 CDN with Canada post. So over $100CDN to return stuff that wasn't even nice.
Terrible overall service experience
Man, I really wish I would have come here before ordering several pieces of clothing from the Torrid site. I placed my order 2 weeks ago and it hasn't even shipped yet. I have sent inquiries through their Contact Us form that have (so far) been ignored. I tried the Chat function and the only response I get is "sorry, this chat has closed". Those appear to be the only 2 ways to contact the company. I ordered these clothes specifically for a trip I'm taking next week and now it doesn't appear that they will get here on time (or at all). I will never shop here again - and I hope this review serves as a warning for other consumers as well.

I never ever saw a company with a so poor customer service. Don't even try to chat or call or e-mail, you will receive no value answer. They owe me $ but now they are hiding and not even answer call or mails. A real nightmare.
Horrible Customer Service
Don't expect to ever exchange or get a Refund. I purchased with debit card, had to exchange something they issued a credit on a gift card, then when that item didn't work out they refused to to give me credit back to my bank card because the last purchase was on a gift card. It force people to buy from them. I will not make any more purchases from thieves. Called the customer service line asked for a supervisor, was told I would get a call back in 2-3 hours. The worst customer service I have seen in retail. I placed 4 orders (shipping and store pick up) in 3-4 weeks period, and they managed to mess up each one of all 4 orders. Items were just removed from orders without any explanation; the system would allow to order items that were no longer available; it would allow us to send order for store pick up, and that store would be just closed for a day, so we had to wait for confirmation first, and then finally ended up driving to a store just to see the shut door.
Trying to call customer service and staying on hold for at least 10-15 min, then the call is transferred to someone's personal mailbox with a very weird and definitely NOT professional voice greeting.
What kind of a company is this???
Update. Went to another Torrid location to pick up my last order that was taking forever to get shipped to the store... Went to find out that the store closed early. Closed 2 hours early, just like the other one where my first order was sent to for pick up.
Also, talked to a customer service rep and asked for a manager when I realized he knew less about my order than I did. He kept me on hold for about 30 min and then said a manager was not available. I said I would wait till he or she is available. The rep simply hung up.

I just seen the commercial for Torrid, as a larger size woman I am embarrassed. The commercial does nothing to help us larger size women out. What a trashy commercial, Torrid needs to make their commercial(s) classy rather than exploiting large women . WONT BE SHOPPING TORRID ANYTIME SOON.
What address do I use to mail my return?
I love the fit of their jeans but received a top that was too small and had to return. I initiated the return and received the insert slip but no address on where to send the return. I've spent the past week on chat, through email, through online messaging and on the customer service phone line (where there was no agent even during hours and I had to leave a message) and still don't have an address of where I can send my return. It's beyond crazy frustrating.
So Many Frustrations with this Company
So many problems with this company. First, Do not get their credit card. I closed my account and paid the balance in full...I even called afterwards to verify everything was closed and paid. 4 months later they sent me a bill for $24, and they threatened me with a $41 late fee if I don't pay up. Huh? Very frustrating and incompetent. Also their clothes deteriorate quickly. Also had an experience where I ordered about $300 worth of clothes online...went to pick them up in the store and they had GAVE THEM TO SOMEONE ELSE. I had to wait almost a month to get the clothes after reordering. And finally, they gave me almost $100 in rewards because of the problem I had. I bought some clothes with it online, but they didn't fit right. I tried to return them but they said clothes bought with a voucher can't be returned, so i lost the money and wound up with $100 worth of clothes that dont fit...WOW ok, great job resolving a problem "EYEROLL" I was spending hundreds of dollars there regularly until I started having these problems, now I hate this store after my experience with them.
Not worth the trouble, especially if Canadian.
I'm in Canada so shipping is over $50 CAD. I made my order and wpke up to emails the next morning telling me a quarter of my order is unavailable. It's been 2 weeks and these items in these sizes are still showing "available" online. I was sent an email that my pkg has shipped and here's my tracking number. It's been 5 days now with no action on the tracking. I definitely don't recommend shopping here. They know these are issues because their customer service staff have dealt with complaints but Torrid allows the angry calls to continue to their reps rather than fixing the problem.
Torrid shipping is so incredibly slow
Torrid shipping is so incredibly slow. It showed on their website site my order should arrive on approximately March 17, I haven’t heard anything, can’t see a shipping label, so I reach out to them. They informed me my order won’t even ship until March 21(which is 10 days after I order it), so who knows when I’ll actually receive it. This is the last time I’ll be shopping at Torrid.

Thieves
I received a $100 gift card for my birthday and spent it on Torrid.com. They took so long to process my order, that half of my items sold out before they could be shipped, and were cancelled. The money taken from my gift card was never refunded, it’s a new month and the card is still blank. I even contacted customer service, but have received no response. It’s sad, because I really loved this company but now they have lost a customer. In times like these people cannot afford to be treated like this. We need good quality clothing that will last and retailers that will treat us with respect.
Should have read reviews before buying
Should have read reviews before buying. I purchase some booties. They are super cute! I got to wear them for one day and the zipper broke at work. When I reached out to them they told me I could try to return them to a store but it was up to the store manager. I throw away the box and everything because they fit and I loved them but the fact that I throw away $70 in one day is highly frustrating!! The store did not take them back either. Don’t waste your money.

Don't waste your time
I placed an order for two pair of jeans on January 23 it is February 10 and I still have not received the order. Order says processing
. When I reached out to torrid to cancel order I was told I could not cancel order due to order showing processing. I was also told my credit card would not be charged until order shipped. My card was charged Feb. 3 but my m
order status is still showing processing. Do not shop with Torrid you do have a problem waiting 3-4 weeks for items. Eloquii has beautiful clothes and ships with 2 days. I have placed two orders with Eloquii since placing this order and have received both orders. Lesson learned.
Out of stock after long processing times
They wait so many weeks to send out your order that by the time they do, the items you have purchased are out of stock. Incredibly frustrating.
January 2022 and i received the order
January 2022 and i received the order. I ordered about 500 dollars worth of clothes after a 35% discount. These were for my daughter and myself. We loved everything. It's beautiful and colorful and good quality. No complaints. Feeling and looking great. We'll purchase from them again.
