Torrid is the worst..
Torrid is the worst.
They price switch when I placed my order. The same items are on the web site for 25 dollars were charged to my payment for 75 dollars. I have made several attempts to fixed the error and was told by all customer reps that they can not correct or cancle the order. Why? The number for corporate loops back to the same cannot do service persons.
Never again
Google Torrids legal history. They have been found guilty of the robbing customers and still continue to do so.

I received an email response from the office of the company president/ceo name Raven who insisted that the system could not be in error and the overpayment was caused by myself. I choose to used the code that would give me a lesser discount.

The quality of the clothing has greatly declined . The higher prices were acceptable when that went along with higher quality, unfortunately that is no longer the case. Far from it! My shirts develop odd holes in them,leggings are pilly after just a few washing. I'm very careful with the care of my clothing. There is no excuse for this poor quality. Bra strap broke within 6 weeks of purchase. The sales people however remain amazing.

I dont know where to start
I dont know where to start, Torrid needs to CLOSE IT DOORS FOR GOOD AT THIS POINT. I am on the phone with now because of an issue that was to be rectified a few days ago, they did not apply my order to the correct email after telling me several times they did and they charged me an incorrect amount saying something about the promotion etc, I had to call the customer service line to place the order bc the system was having an issue and I could not place the order on line. They did not apply my rewards etc or honor the prices that were online like they have in the past and mentioned that they would do, The customer service is HORRIBLE now the people you speak to can not understand what you're saying and vice versa therefore you spend a tremendous amount of time on the phone to no avail. I left a review and i was given a generic message back saying call customer service and they would help me, that must have been a joke bc I am met with the SAME EXPERIENCE I had before. They say one thing and document the account another creating discrepancies etc. I was a VIP customer for years, do to their diminish service clothes etc i have not being ordering and dropped to a loyalist, I can say much more but i am not willing to spend any more time here, TORRID NEEDS TO DO BETTER IMMEDIATELY OR GO TF OUT BUSINESS NOW, AND PLEASE GET SOME AMERICAN SPEAKING PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So my wife has been with torrid
So my wife has been with torrid, she returned an item last month and got credit to her account.
But for some reason, she gets a bill this month. A $35 late fee.
For $2 them sending a bill out last month. Wanting her to go paperless. So apparently I have to pay the $35. To keep her from being charged every month from here on out, I told her to close her account. I can't believe this place would do that.
Love this store!
I'm shocked to see such a low number for the score! I have been purchasing from Torrid for YEARS and although I don't always love everything on the website, and things aren't always available in tall sizes, I've personally found it to be a dream to shop both online and in person! The staff at my store is always helpful and I'll never forget the day my local store opened and experienced so much love and support from the staff and other customers. Also the fact that they have controllable fans IN THE CHANGE ROOMS is 10/10. I've never had an issue in person or online with customer service or returns. One of my last orders was when the tariff situation was starting up and orders had shut down for Canada, I didn't realize this and called and the customer service rep manually placed my order for me on his end.

TAPJOY is at it again, or actually NOT doing a thing. One submits a reward missing ticket, they draw out the conversation repeatedly asking for proofs to be provided in a certain way. And then, they CLOSE the claim due to “inactivity.” I do not believe that they’re paying attention. I know that they are not reading the proofs provided. Do better Tapjoy…I know you are able.

Worst company and customer service I’ve ever experienced. I placed an order online-AS my finger was clicking the purchase button, I realized the ship to address was 7 years out of date. I IMMEDIATELY got on CS chat, who told me they can’t change or modify an order once it’s placed. Then, as the CS was responding, the chat “timed out” and cut me off. So I called. Same thing, except the CS was very rude and kept talking to me like I was five. I was angry and she said “this is your last warning” because I dared let anger into my voice. Listen-I’ve WORKED in administration of a warehouse. Those ppl are not IMMEDIATELY getting your order to the point it CANNOT be changed the SECOND you click purchase. Then they told me “well, contact your bank or something”. Like wtf?!?! This is THIER company, why should I be doing that? For an order I’ll never receive. I should have looked on Trustpilot before interacting with them. Never again.

Canadians Beware
Over the last month I have been visiting the Torrid website and app multiple times to try and order a pair of shoes; something I have done without issue in the past. Although the shoes all appear to be "in stock", as soon as I try to add them to my cart the status changes to "out of stock". This happens with every pair of shoes, not just a select few. Now being as I live in Canada, I thought there must be some kind of error going on so I finally decided to reach out to customer service for an explanation.
Here is why I will not be purchasing from torrid again: the customer service representative told me that Torrid "prioritizes orders from the United States over Canadian orders". So EVEN THOUGH there is stock of the item I would like to order, they will not allow me to purchase it because there's a chance someone from the States will buy them. Whether you realize it or not, this is discrimination.
In light of your governments tariffs and attacks on Canadian Sovereignty, I have started shopping Canadian as much as humanly possible. Torrid was one of the VERY FEW American businesses I was still willing to support, but with the statement from your customer service team, my decision is much easier. Disappointed and disgusted is what I am. As someone who has been buying product from the store before they were even "Canadian friendly", because it offered styles that were flattering and made me feel good about myself, it hurts to say that I will no longer be shopping with you.
I will be sure to pass along my experience with to all of my fellow Canadians who shop with Torrid.
I will not be shopping at Torrid ever never AGAIN
I can't seem to understand how can a company feel free to just change your online order. If it's not in stock, you just don't have it. Don't take my hard earned money and just replace it with something I don't even like just to take my money. As much as I order from online this is the only store I've ever had this happen to me. TORRID NEEDS TO DO MUCH BETTER THEN THIS. WILL NOT BE SHOPPING AT TORRID EVER AGAIN.
90 minute drive and got fat shamed by staff
Drove in to Calgary - 90 minutes - specifically to go to Torrid, as I needed blue jeans and some shirts.
They advertise that they carry up to size 30. I need a 24 or 26, so well within their selling point.
I get there, and the store was quiet, but there were 3 people on the sales floor being 'busy'. There was only 1 other customer.
It was almost 20 minutes of me trying to hunt jeans down in my size, checking every single pair - there were a lot of jeans (which made me happy when I got in, temporarily) to check - before one of the sales clerks peeled themselves away from rearranging hangers and trying to look busy. There was only 1 clerk who was actually truly busy putting clothing away. The others were trying to look busy, like spacing hangers on the racks.
When I told them I was looking for jeans in my size because the biggest size I saw on the racks and shelves of hundreds of jeans was 16 or 18, I was told outright that 'Oh. We don't carry up to that size in the store. You have to order that online'.
I drove 90 minutes to get fat shamed. Torrid absolutely sucks for having the worst service I've ever seen.
That was a month or so ago and I've told everyone and anyone about it because they don't deserve our business.
Torrid lost my business today.
Torrid doesn't care about their customers. The chain has changed so much in recent years and not for the better. Online shopping is a nightmare so I stopped doing that and started going to the store in the mall. I had Torrid cash and I was told I could use it in April but not told that certain days in April were the only times the cash could be used. I have $150 in Torrid cash that is useless. It is just not worth all the hassle for me or my friends and family to shop Torrid anymore. I certainly would have remembered when I could use my Torrid cash had I been informed. The store's supervisor told me April and I took that to mean any time in April. At least Torrid got keep that $150 because it's all about the money and not the customer. I will do all my shopping at Maurice's because they care about their customers.
No tracking # with Torrid …
Every other store gives tracking numbers. Torrid does not. I don't understand why not 🙄
NEVER AGAIN
Very disappointed I placed an order online, waited over a month, shipping now says delivered and I never received it. Contacted them and of course all they are saying is it is delivered. I WILL NEVER SHOP WITH THEM AGAIN!!!!
Cannot unsubscribe
Do not even show an interest in this company! I sent them an email enquiring about a product, and I've ended up on their mailing list. I get several promotional emails a day. Each one has an unsubscribe button, which I click on, every time. Have been doing this, several times a day, for about a couple of weeks. I'm sick of it. If you have a bargepole, do not use it to touch this company.

I've been a loyal Torrid customer for a number of years, and I live in the UK, so I'm always stung by import fees and extortionate shipping charges (which of course, is not the fault of Torrid).
99.9% of the time, I'm happy with the items which is always a gamble because I don't return anything that isn't right, due to the cost of return shopping.
However, on my most recent order I purchased a black dress which was advertised as a certain material on their website. When it arrived with me, it's a totally different material and even has a polyester layer that wasn't advertised on the website. I wouldn't have bought it had it been listed correctly, so I reached out to Torrid via email.
I understand we're working on two different time zones, however, their replies have been so unnecessarily slow and unhelpful. I get one response a day, and the response I get is always pointless and looks like it's been typed by AI - always repetitive, going round in circles, and never actually addressing the points in my emails.
They made me send photos and screenshots and all sorts - then they admitted the dress was listed incorrectly (yet this error has still not been rectified on their website?!?!). Then they told me to return it for free using the portal. I tried this and it wouldn't work, so I went back to them and reminded them for the third time that I'm in the UK.
They're refusing to cover the cost of the return shipping even though this error was theirs. I feel like they're dragging their heels so that the returns period ends. I'm having to claim the money back through PayPal because Torrid seem totally unwilling to help.
I spend thousands here every year and the one time I have an issue, this is the level of service I receive... Unreal.
EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
Have have been a loyal Torrid customer for over 15 years. I spent most of my professional life working in finance. I do not believe in store credit cards, but I do have a Torrid account. I would promote their card, because I believe if you manage your account well and pay it off without paying interest, It's a great perk. However,The last couple times I've gone to make a payment, I can't even get into my account. I have called about this several times. Every time I call, I'm told they are very sorry their system is still down. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?????? How long is your system going to be down. I can transfer you to our automated system. NO!!!!! This is very poor customer service. I will be closing this account and I will not be shopping at Torrid any longer.
Made the order online
Made the order online. Was charged for it. And now the status of the order is "canceled ". I didn't get no emails about cancelation,no reason for cancelation. Contacted customer support and they said that payment verification was failed, and the amount of money i was charged for is on hold and will be back to my account in several days. Again, no emails about it,no explanation. I will never shop with Torrid again
