Since the tariffs started
Since the tariffs started, Torrid stopped shipping to store in Canada. They won’t give any discounts for shipping to your home. This started since the tariffs were placed on Canada. If my business isn’t important, I’ll boycott them. Canadian only for me. FDT

Last autumn I was stopped cold in my tracks by a sweater that had gradient colors of rust and blue and a black skulls pattern. I walked in and was assisted to a best possible price by the saleswoman so I could afford to walk out with the item.
HORRIBLE online experience
HORRIBLE customer service and cancel/change order experience! Something in my cart became out of stock while I was checking out (as soon as I clicked place order) and it had me go back and remove the item before continuing. I removed the item and proceeded to check out. I placed my order and realized that, by removing an item, my shipping address had defaulted to an old address. I immediately sent an email to customer service and I called them to change it and they would not change the address for me. They said that their goal is to get orders out as quickly as possible and that it’s not something they can cancel or change once placed. They asked me to wait to receive the package and initiate a return. I reminded them that I will not receive the package because it’s not my address. They told me they couldn’t do anything about it and to try contacting the shipping courier once it ships and I get a notification with tracking information. This is insane and the worst experience I’ve had with changing or canceling an order. I feel like I just lost $240. Will never place an online order with them again.

I ordered numerous clothes from their site in January and still yet to receive them. Their site says the package was delivered but it never made it to my house. And no, no one stole them off my porch s my security camera works have picked that up. When asked for ca refund they offered to refund my 50%. This is theft and should refund my full amount. This site is a joke with shipping and customer service. Will never order again and will advise that no one orders.

I have ordered a few times,from Torrid online. I couldn't be more pleased with the speed and service. Talk about hassle-free shopping. And the store associates are so friendly and helpful!!!
I got a couple of "update" emails.......kept me.in the loop but didn't bury me under non stop emails!!! Pickup was fast n easy.

DO NOT order from Torrid online
I ordered a pair of knee boots and boyfriend cardigan sweater for my wife for Valentine’s Day. I ordered online and did a ship to the store so I can pick up my items. The knee boots arrived at the store but the sweater never made it. I contacted customer service and they informed me the delivery driver took the sweater back to the warehouse BUT there was no more in stock. So they told me they will process a refund with in 5-7 business days. I waited and never got my refund. I called and they told me AGAIN the same thing about waiting 5-7 business days for my refund. I waiting NINE days this time and called and they told me the order had to be cancelled before they issued the refund. And the customer service rep said she personally cancelled it and I should wait ANOTHER 5-7 business days for my refund.
So I would NOT recommend ordering online, it’s best to get the clothes straight from the store. Especially since customer service reps don’t know how to do their job handling online orders

This will be my first and only time buying through Torrid. I placed an order online for clothes that were on clearance. I waited weeks and then it the tracking said it had arrived. It did not. It was nowhere to be found.
I emailed customer service. They told me to go to the post office and ask them as well as my neighbors. Did it, no luck. Next they said they accused me of entering the wrong address which I did not. But offered to reship the package. At this point I would rather have a refund. They would only give me a 60% refund saying that I should understand that they are out a lot of money between the items I bought on clearance and them shipping the products again. Essentially saying i should be willing to pay some money for getting nothing. And what's worse is I paid for shipping insurance. Which is supposed to cover the liability of it getting lost,stolen, or delivered wrong. But they won't even address that one. Tried to get them to own up a bit and now they are ignoring me. Do not buy from them it is not worth the headache.

As a 64 year old, clothing was difficult to find as a plus size person. I Giggle and am filled with joy when I receive a package from Torrid. Their clothing and shoes fit true to size. If ever I had a return, due to fit or style, I would go directly to the store and I would never have a problem. The sales clerks are always helpful and courteous. I love Torrid.
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. Their jeans didn't fit me, so I called to figure out how to do an exchange, but they didn't answer for an hour. I decided to come in person, 40 minutes away, to do the exchange and they wouldn't help me because I had the receipt, but not the tags. If they had answered the phone in a timely manner I would have saved the tags. When I asked her what I'm supposed to do with jeans that don't fit me she recommended selling them on Poshmark! I spoke to the store manager and corporate and they said the same thing. I can't believe they'd rather me be unhappy with my purchase than keep a customer. I will never shop there again. Absolutely ridiculous return policy that I've never heard of at any store. On top of all of this, I wasted time and 80 minutes worth of gas money, and now I'm stuck with jeans that don't fit me.

Wow! I am shocked at reading all the poor reviews. I am new to Torrid. Only started shopping there a couple months ago but have placed a dozen orders now and no problems at all. They email you right away with the confirmation and most orders are shipped within 1-3 days. I’ve received orders in the same week I’ve placed them! Only 1 item out of about 50 has been canceled. I will say their email customer service takes about 5 days to get back to you but other than that my experience with them has been awesome. BEST bras I’ve ever had. On par with Fredericks of Hollywood. I’m so excited I found them and plan to do a lot more shopping with them!

I got amazing customer service in store HOWEVER, the online shopping was an ABSOLUTE SCAM. I ordered my daughter $100 worth of bras IN STORE from their website because they didn't have anything in stock, this was for my daughters christmas present so no biggie, well until yesterday I had heard NOTHING no email no tracking number NOTHING, we'll I call the store they can't find record of the transaction (I was literally holding my reciept) eventually they find it and a tracking number that literally said "no shipping information available" they then tell me to call customer service HOW IS THIS SOMETHING I SHOULD HAVE TO DO, I call customer service the woman I spoke to was an absolute B1TC4 to me on the phone made three attempts to deny me a refund everything from saying since the online account was in my MINOR daughters name theu had to speak to her when the purchase was made BY ME, IN STORE, with MY bank card which I shut down very quickly then it became "she couldn't authorize a refund" then 5 more minutes of me shutting her down she finally and exceedingly rudely said "fine here's your refund bye" and hung up the phone. I'll tell ya what Lane Bryant and Frederick's of Hollywood will get my business before this dumpster fire of an organization will again, which really upsets me because the two ladies that helped me in store when I made the purchases were absolutely AMAZING.
Quality has totally tanked
I used to only buy Torrid leggings. Yes, they were expensive, but they lasted a long time, weren't see-through, and fit was great. The last few times I've purchased them, the quality has been terrible. They start falling apart at the seams after just a few weeks of wear and are completely see-through when I bend over. Two of the three pair I've gotten also seem to be stitch together slightly incorrectly, making them somewhat uncomfortable. I won't be buying anything from torrid anymore. I wish they would stop messing around and just make quality products again.

They cancelled it and didn’t even tell me and then had my money pending for a week. Th are us done bull crap. This Torrid is Not a good company to spend your money

Absolutely terrible customer service. If you don't pay by 5 you apparently get a late fee. Well then got a late fee for the late fee and instead of being helped, I was hung up on. Paying those off an closing my card. I've been a loyal torrid shopper for years and never paid anything late! Disappointed is an understatement!!!!!!
