They stole my money
I did not receive anything from them. They claim it was both delivered and signed for. We have a security camera and nothing ever arrived. Then I asked for my money back (I did buy the insurance from them too) and they offered 30% back. I asked for 100% so they offered 40%. Eventually they went up to 70% saying the sale they were running hit them hard. I gave up at this point. Still havent received the 70%.
Cancelled my entire order with zero warning!
Their company made an error with torrid cash. I had tried to chat with them over online, they claimed everything was fine on their end, must be me so I can do it over phone if I wanted, so I just resumed my order and placed it. 5 days later I had recieved a confirmation for my order being placed but nothing saying it was shipped so I called them. After placing me on hold for 25minutes they finally get back to me and tell they just cancelled my whole order!!
While I am here ranting too, their quality has gone down significantly too. Here I was so excited about their canada currency exhchange and lower shipping prices but it comes at the price of their clothing losing any quality it once had and now being comparable to shein. Sadly I don’t think I’ll be shopping there anymore.

Clothes made cheaply
The clothes are so expensive, and they are made cheaply, you guy trying to get more money from women that wear bigger sizes. The clothes fall apart so fast.

The sales lady was amazing
The sales lady was amazing. Didn't push. Found what I was looking for. Very comfortable shopping experience. Prices are great and great fits. The only complaint is why didn't I ever hear about this store. It's amazing! Going to take all my friends there.
A coin toss if you'll receive your items or not
This is a very unprofessional company. You'll happily place an online order thinking everything is fine, then a week later you'll get an email detailing all the items that you won't be receiving because they're out of stock. NEVER get your hopes up thinking that you'll be receiving what you ordered, because it doesn't work that way with Torrid. You most probably will not receive your full order; rather, you'll receive what Torrid decides to send you. Torrid will also keep your shipping charges even though everything you paid to have shipped weren't sent. I'm done with this company! Torrid, count your days, because you'll be joining the other many bankrupt companies closing their doors.

Ordered online and returned to the store and still no credit for the return. When calling the 1 800 number they tell me to call the store, the store says call the 1800 number. It is a purchase and return for $94. No longer will I shop at a store that steals hard earned money.
How Torrid really is.
Torrid has very good clothes most people are saying that the fabric sucks but its actually a very good company good clothes just pretty expensive I got 2 boxes of clothes some were ripped but most were fine Torrid is one of the best clothing stores out there and if you want to know what your clothes actually is I recommend that you go to the store and not order it online but overall this is a pretty good company

After visiting the states and buying some Jeans from their shop I decided when returning home that I loved their jeans. Sadly I didn’t receive my order, terrible company. Chasing up after them and excuse after excuse as to why they had lost my large order. Ended up out of pocket. Do not order online!
Torrid Lies
I bought 2 pairs of underwear which Torrid claimed were 95% cotton. It was a total lie! I wrote to complain, and never got a reply. I tried calling, and waited for 30 minutes on hold. They never answered. Worst of all, I spent 30 minutes chatting with an associate who said they would help, but it took him so long that the chat timed out. He had all of my contact info, but never bothered to email me. So now I have 2 pairs of the most expensive underwear I've ever bought and will never, because I don't wear polyester! It was the first time I ever shopped there and I never will again!

I ordered $65 for 12 pieces in July. Checked my order everyday. Now it says been delivered. Bs.!!! Someone has been hm everyday. They said someone has signed for it! Ridiculous!!! Also said someone would email me when order has been shipped nothing I've gotten nothing at all from them! So heart broken. Love this store but should a known it was too good to be true! Torrid.com is absolute trash
Torrid.com is absolute trash. I ordered a pair of pants and a top on 6/5 and received them 6/11. My order total was $65.94
The pants were advertised as 35" inseam and the ones I received were 32". The top was made with cheap materials and had an odd fit. I opened a return on 6/11, printed out the packing slip and packaged everything carefully as instructed. They received my return on 6/18, according to UPS tracking.
I received a refund credit of $24.53 on 6/26 with no communication from Torrid about the return. I emailed them on 6/28 to inquire about the remaining balance. They responded with an apology and an additional refund of $6 (??) I responded again and reminded them that BOTH items were returned. This time they responded and said the top has makeup on it so it will not be refunded. What?? I tried these on fresh out of the shower with NO makeup on.
I promptly disputed the remaining $34.53 with Chase and I will never do business again with this shady company!
Warning on Customer Service and shipping. BEWARE
BEWARE*** Warning on Customer Service… the shipping process is beyond poor. I called three times to get no information on my order. The information on order from website is false. They give you a tracking number and it is never valid with who they tell you is the carrier. First it was Fed-ex…”NOT” then it was UPS…”NOT” then it said it was never sent to a carrier yet. I signed up for delivery e-mails which were never sent to me. Total headache, they said they shipped from Ohio, and I live in Ohio. Customer service never could give me answers. It’s just not worth the anxiety and headache to order from them.

Does Torrid leadership even care
Do not order online from Torrid. I love Torrids clothes but more and more I’m starting to understand that Torrid as a company is lacking. No other company that does online retail takes over a week to ship out product after it’s been ordered and paid for. Also, no company charges for shipping to your house, especially when it takes so long for Torrid to even ship the order. I agree that you should not shop at torrid, especially online until they can get their situation together and more efficient.
Can’t contact customer service
This was my first and last purchase from this company m,I didn’t care for the experience that I had! first of all, the clothes are very expensive but when you receive them, they are made so cheaply I was shocked!! all the material is so SUPER thin and see-through I don’t know how anyone wears IT!!!! Everything was boxy and shapeless and not for curvy people but the worst thing is their customer service which now I’ve read in these reviews and I am sad, I didn’t come here first before purchasing! I returned every single one of my items, my refund was taking longer than I expected so I contacted them twice and received no response about my return. I finally did get my return money so I stopped trying to contact them because it’s over now but that really upset me That you couldn’t interact with the customer service and find out the information that you need
