Customer Servcie on live telephone line…

Customer Servcie on live telephone line told me one thing and proceeded with order after I told them to cancel after 5 min of placing order hey also told me that they will escalate issue to Supervisor to cancel
Order this obviously didn’t happened and said that I will receive email on this order also the concern that was brought up since they acknowledge they see where the problem is and … absolute rip off .

Horrible. I've spent $1000’s in their store and have always been treated well. Their new District Mgr decides you can't use the restroom.... Let me tell you... People who are pregnant shop there. People looking for a better experience shop

I ordered a bra, waited a week to receive a message that it’s not in stock, now they tell me they will return my money when they are satisfied the bra will not become available. There is no limit to how long they can keep my money. I

Today I went to Torrid to return some…

Today I went to Torrid to return some items. I was horribly embarresed by the clerk. She accused me of wearing the pants, so refused to take them back! They were tried on, NOT worn, I explained this, so she made a face like she saw the most disgusting thing ever and says ma'am there is skin in these pants" and I clearly can tell they been worn. First off there was nothing in the pants! So when I disproved that she then said they are worn cause the tags are off them, and I cant resell them. By now im pissed, and yes I started raising my voice, I had enough of her condescending "ma'am" stuff and accusing me of something that wasn't true! I was like so how can you sell items that are tried on in the dressing room? She of course had no answer. So I asked for her general managers name, she refused...I asked for corporates number she told me to look it up.YES I came out of pocket, YES i got loud, and now I'm feeling horrible about that. But the way I was treated and the condescending way she talked to me...not 1x, not 2x but at least 3x gave me a disgusting look telling me there was skin in the pants. I am so upset! I Have spent a fortune in Torrid. I will NEVER step foot in there again, and yes I am filing a formal complaint...I usually let things go now, as i dont need the stress...but this? HELL NO
This was also my second time dealing with her in the past year, she has a superior attitude like shes better, and it was over a return then too! This was the Torrid store in Watertown NY.

I have been a loyal Torrid customer for over 10 years.

I have been a loyal Torrid customer for years. But no longer. I had a glitch on their website on 4/14 and somehow my order did not go through but they cleared out my $100 gift card. I have sent emails with no response. Have called multiple times being on hold for over an hour with all 3 calls and no one ever answers. I may be just one customer that will never shop their again. But hopefully other people read this and see how horrible the non-customer service is. Non existing.. I am out $100.. but they are out all the money I spend each year. Savings for me I guess.

I have screen shots ~ so I have been trying to see why my torrid rewards (not cash where you have to spend to get half off) are showing up in my acct but not cart. From 2/29 and 3/1 ..expiring tomorow and 15th ... been in off and on communication for at least 5 weeks ish.
Today someone fianly said I see them.in your acct. But then gave me a run around. Messed up my acct sign in . Told be to sign in via browser. Wouldn't listen like i was stupid. Then I finally said F@$! It I'm paying off my card and never shopping with torrid again. I finally got a new password link and when I got in ... it now shows all my torrid rewards as gifted ... to who? Huh? Scamy absolutely trash of a company I can't wait to pay off my card and have the satisfaction of shedding that peice of s&%t. Ps in 2006 their clothes were durable I still have some. Now they are thin and s*^t but cost more.

There is a reason they mostly have 1 star reviews. If you are in the US and shop in store they are fine but ordering online is not recommended. They have the worst/nonexistent customer service, good luck getting any response from thier team. The site is buggy and doesn't work, but no one will respond when you try to get help so you can place an order. Very disappointing, would not recommend.

Customer Service Outsourced & Terrible CS Now

Well I USED TO LOVE this company and their clothing! 5 stars for me several months ago to today at 1 star only! Before, if you had an issue with returning something, customer service was US based and they took care of you swiftly, intelligently & were friendly about it. However, that’s NOT so now! Customer service has been taken over by out- of -the country representatives & they can’t seem to get anything right or do it in a quick fashion. In addition to this, there is SO much background noise from the other call center employees, it’s difficult to hear what they’re saying. This morning I spent over 45 minutes with trying to get them to do a return for me & now later in the day, the return seems no where to be found! Normally, I do my returns online, but they have changed it to show only pictures of the items that doesn’t include the item number, description nor the size. So if you order something in duplicate, but in a different size/color, you can’t tell IF the items you select is the right item# until the return is completed and you print the pack slip. There also doesn’t seem to be a way to edit or cancel the online return either, hence why I had to make contact AGAIN. Second call today… now 50 minutes so far & problem still isn’t resolved! Apparently now I have to wait 5 business days for a customer support representative to review the return before I can get a pack-slip & label for this return! Talk about inefficiency for all of us involved! Ugh!! Time will tell if they can get it right this time.

Whatever CEO/CFO who decided outsourcing customer service support to outside the US is going to loose their BEST customers because of this new incompetency! I love TORRID clothes, however, if this poor customer service continues, I’ll look for another brand to spend my money with!

Shopping should be fun, enjoyable, products should have quality workmanship, variety of products with reasonable prices, plus a return should be quick & easy. It should be a whole package geared towards the best product & services for the customer! TORRID just reduced this loyal customer & my shopping experience by more than 50% today! That makes me :( too!

For god sakes,,, bring back the US based customer service & please also fix the online return system to include the item numbers & editing actions !

Bad customer service

I ordered from Torrid around January 11th. It's now February 12th, and I have yet to get my order. I've used their contact form on their website 3+ times now, and I never got a response. I messaged their Instagram, also no response.

I live in Europe, so not only did I have to pay for shipping but I also had to pay for customs for an item that hasn't even been delivered yet.

Terrible terrible service.

You can never cancel an order.

If you order something by mistake or place the wrong address you are never able to change it. You can call support but they won't fix it and you can't do anything in your account to change the order either even if you try immediately after placing the order. Really poor design considering they take forever to ship things out anyway.

No customer service

Horrible experience. No respect for customers. Did a ship to store order and they cancelled it with no email no nothing. Paid by gift card and it was horrendous trying to get my money back.
At least have common decency to let people know their order is cancelled and give them their money back!!!!!

Terrible online ordering

Ordering online from Torrid is so frustrating! The first time I ordered online, I selected to have it delivered to my home. 2.5 months later it finally arrived on my doorstep. I called customer service to try and cancel the order and they said it couldn't be done. When I told an employee at a store she said to have it delivered to them, stating it would be a much faster process. I gave them a 2nd chance and it was another 3-4 weeks before my 1 piece of clothing arrived. I then only got 1 email stating my order was waiting for me and would only be available for pick-up 2 more days. Apparently it had been at the store for a week with no notification! Do yourself a favor and only shop in-store.

Will steal your money and LIE about it

Never got a chance to pick up order so allowed it to auto cancel for refund. Support is NEVER avail. Sent email checking on refund, they magically confirmed my order as pick up. NEVER PICKED UP ITEMS. I placed 2 orders afterwards and had it shipped to home again car problems. These lames repeatedly tell me they have submitted my refund I still havnt received it and now they refuse to communicate and reply back to my emails. USELESS. I’m DONE with this non customer service lying and stealing company. REFUND MY MONEU

The disaster that is TORRID

Torrid, welcome to 2023! Why does it take you nearly a month to process a return? Why can you only return items purchased a certain way in store? Why do you charge $6.00 for returns? Why is your customer service department so rude?
I think it’s a normal thing for a customer to get their refund in a timely manner, so when I chat with a team member to find out what the delay was and they treat me like a criminal because a pair of boots didn’t fit me, that’s a major issue. Honestly, I received better customer service from Temu. Shame on torrid. Do better.

Awful experience with Torrid Website. But, after reading all the reviews, I think I dodged a bullet! Apparently, when they're 'out of stock' they don't advise you of that like other websites do, they just DON'T LET YOU CHECK OUT!

My money was stolen

My money was stolen. I placed a $300.00 order. I was told the order was lost. I did NOT get a refund. They didn't even try to make things right. I was also told that my credit card would be credited. It was NOT!! I can't believe Torrid even exists!!!!
