I went in to TORRID at the main mall in South Portland Maine. to take back an online purchase from about three weeks ago. The woman told me I needed to get my original email from my order number. I get hundreds of emails a day and I was unable to find it. She was rude didn’t even care said sorry I can’t help you. I asked her if she could look it up off of my TORRID card she said no. I went out in the car and called TORRID and asked them what the order number was. Jot it down, brought it back and told the woman you could’ve told me that that was the solution she rolled her eyes never said another word to me. I closed my account and I’m never going to order anything from TORRID again the customer service was horrible

So one thing is for sure, I love the customer service at both stores, ( Yonkers and Bay Plaza) the beautiful ladies understand and know their styles! A++. What I do have a complaint about are the leggings! I had to bring back at least three of them, only because buying online is absolutely different from buying in person. I just want to know, can Torrid, please change up the legging options. I would appreciate if you guys can make a legging that are not such a wide leg. May we please have a straight leg that's not tappered to the leg. Thank you kindly in advance. Everyone doesn't look good in it and that's me. A more type of Yoga type just a little bit of material, where it doesn't always have be that bell bottom. I'm over it! I'd would like another option. I love leggings and the pockets are amazing by the way!! Straight leg not so close to the ankles; just enough space where you can wear a boot, that doesn't have to be pushed inside of it. Almost like a pant if you will with all that delicious stretch!! Gracias!! ❤️

What kind of store which caters to big women doesn't have a bra band size bigger than 46 at the stores?

Went to torrid in Devonshire Mall in Windsor and had the worst customer service ever. First the dint carry my size in store as advertised then the sales person said i will be right back and never returned. Called the store to speak with brenda the manager and she said she will use my concern as a training tool. I will never shop at Torrid Windsor again.

Quality is hit or miss, mostly miss these days. I've spent tons of money there over the years and the prices go up but the quality has gone down. Good luck getting a refund when you make a return. I'm in the middle of a dispute on my credit card for a refund of $243 they owe me. I sent proof they received the package, received an email it could take 14 business days for the refund (website says 1 to 2 weeks, no business days mentioned) and here it is a month later and still nothing and now they are no longer answering my emails. They've lost me as a customer.

I just made an order for an overpriced sweater. First it was hard to do online so I had to go into the store to order it. Then it was delayed , then it was an "insufficient" address! SO never got item and hopefully it will return on my gift card.

Their clothing quality is absolutely trash now. These used to be my go to leggings to guarantee they wouldn't be see through or start to rip/tear in the inner thigh area. Now you can go 1 to 2 sizes up and still see through them or have tears after 6-8 months. May as well buy some Shein then. Very cheap clothing with a high mark up and bad customer service/shipping. Yikes. I can smell the bankruptcy from The Netherlands.

I am ordering items from online, and it was cancelled five times over one month. I even asked the store clerk to order online for me, and happened again. I called their number and stated what happened, they said it was cancelled due to order out of stock, or else they said other things, which did not help at all, they also blamed the bank for their screw up. I spoke to the bank explaining for third time about Torrid card cancelling the order automatically. It a terrible website and no option of fixing those computer glitches coming from Torrid, and glitches from foreign customer service workers, who really don't care if Torrid goes bankrupt, each sale is down in money for Torrid head office, what gives. Canada talking here.

Stay away from Torrid.com I shop regularly for my wife at Torrid and they made a change where they double charge you "on accident" and don't release the charge until a week later. With payments being instantaneous now, they have no reason to keep payments in their bank account. For a business that is trending down, I'm sure somebody in their management chain thought that it's a good idea to double charge all of their customers, skim off the interest and then give some excuse like "oh. its an internal system errror" or "we pre-charge now. its a new practice." or "we'll give you your funds back in 7 business days".

Often times nicer items are not in stock when they say they are. You can’t cancel an order even after they remove items from your order. I purposely ordered a blouse in 2 different sizes figuring they’d say one wasn’t in stock (website listed both sizes as in stock). After my order was place, they removed both blouses from my order a few days later, saying they were not in stock and I can’t cancel my order. Sizing and quality is hit or miss. Shipping to Canada is expensive. I’ve recently noticed that they remove reviews from items that previously had reviews.

My wife went to the Hickory NC Torrid store for some cute feel good clothing for a concert. Staff were not helpful. Terrible selection in her size. Only the smaller cute sizes available. They focused on a store credit card instead of helping with clothes. She left practically in tears and felt like her only option was weight loss surgery. Way to go Torrid staff!! And her size is a normal stock.size at Torrid or other plus size outlets. Worst shopping experience ever. Never had a store leave us in tears before. I called customer service and was assured a look into it and a follow up. Big surprise. Nothing happened. Would not recommend that store.

HORRIBLE return experience!!! I accidently purchased the same dress twice. I returned one, it was NEVER opened, was in the origimzl UNOPENED bag. I paid 65.00 dollars for it. I was refunded 28.00.
WTH!! Never shopping here again!

I ordered 2 separate orders and they were cancelled with zero communication from Torrid. I emailed customer service twice and eventually had to call only to find out their system cancelled my orders without notifying me. They didn't want to correct the issue, said they didn't charge our account when they did, said they would credit my Torrid cash and credits back. Hasn't happened yet. I'll keep checking. Shopped with them 13 years and have never seen such poor customer service and shady dealings. I'm incredibly disappointed in their company will likely never shop there again after this.

This company can help by cleaning up the immature employees that harassed, threatened, made fun of me etc on June 30th 2023. To be more precise the names were Hannah and another employee Courtney.

I use to spend time with Hannah honestly I went to the store to shop. You see I work with disabled people so they need Torrids clothing but so do some of the women in our office. I been there a few times never bought anything.

I did not know id run into Hannah but when I arrived she begin making fun of me with her coworker they were loud enough I heard it all about how my dick is small and how I am stalking her. I went in there with my gf she did not like the clothes she went to another store I went back in bought a bra for someone who gets sores with wires and this bra had none. She likes it but it was black and way overpriced I could have ordered something similar on Amazon for 15 dollars rather then spend 56 on it.

Courtney threatened me to leave the store even though I was browsing bras. She lied to me about the price too so I was stuck paying for it but the customer likes it so I will not return it.

After leaving a poor review for Courtney I get served with a civil complaint by Hannah basically all my friends, me and family now cant shop at Torrid. If I come into that store I will be arrested and the complaint mentions the review I left for her coworker now how does she know that unless the two of them are being vindictive?

With that being said my friends shopped back in December to buy gifts for the clients they are disabled so gifts are bought from Torrid then wrapped up for Xmas. Well Hannah was very jealous of the women and decided to tell me she is going to have them thrown out and call the cops because they have no right to shop at her store.

I shopped there was with another woman and a couple days later I get served with a civil order that I cant shop at Torrid. That order mentions how I had a gun in her store even though weapons are NOT allowed in the mall. It mentions how I brought bra all because her employee came up to me to throw me out even though I was going through the drawers trying to find a proper bra size at the time.

The entire experience was unprofessional and I am still considering getting an attorney. I am considering suing Hannah, Courtney and the store. Sorry but I do not care if I dated someone from that store its a public place I have every right to shop there, be there and my friends do too. Now none of us can go and that to me is very sad because I been going here for a couple months deciding if I am going to become a regular customer.

The order states that I also became a loyalty member so now that is a crime to right? I cant even believe that they would allow this to happen and I have every right to give the company a poor review. I cant even believe that nothing was done about it oh yeah it mentions she got in trouble at work which is why she went down and put a order against me in the first place. So maybe something was done but either way its not enough.

I suffer from disabilities I can barely walk most days. Now I got emotional trauma, distress and I been harassed because Hannah Brzuchalski and her employee Courtney decided to come up with a plan to get me back because what I came into her store with another lady friend and they thought it would be funny to corner me? Belittle me? Laugh at me? Kick me out of the store? I mean really come on!

All I got to show for it is a black plain bra and an order from the court house which is full of lies talking about how I purposely filed a poor review on her friend and how I had my gun on me total lies. For what so I cant shop there anymore or my friends? Its not right at all and honestly the products might be great at least some of them but the people working at that store definitely are not management material not when they act like that sheesh!

Therefore, right now they get a one star what else can I do but review my experience publically so anyone else going there knows that they have employees that do mistreat the customers especially the way I was treated come on now so what if I came into the store to buy a bra. Lets just put a restraining order on a man I use to date because I am jealous he is coming into this store with another woman so lets make fun of him, kick him out, file false restraining orders as if I am suppose to know Hannah was working that day.

Either way I doubt anything will be done but I am sure others will complain because Hannah has a tendency to be rude at times. Besides the fact she parties with the staff including her managers. So if she tells them hey this guy is stalking me even though I am not what do you think is going to occur? I am going to be kicked out even though I was literally shopping quietly and making a purchase.

Its messed up sorry but it is and it needs to be public people need to know the BS I had to put up with do not care what my past is with this person this is a public store come on!

I got some decent pants and bras from them, but it took alot of money wasting because the sizing shown on the website is inaccurate, and most of the clothes are apparently made for fat asses and tiny vulvas. I ordered 5x swim shorts and they were not shorts at all, and the crotch part was SO FREAKING TINY. Extremely inaccurate marketing. The clothes look wonderful on the smaller models, but they dont hold up in bigger sizes well. Ive wasted so much money on their site because its my only option. Nothing else is available to me. Ive ordered from them multiple times so i just chose today.

I bought 3 bralettes 2 months ago. The elastic is shot in two of them already and at $38/ea it’s a ridiculous waste of money. I hand wash and air dry them so they should’ve lasted a whole lot longer than 2 months!

Used to love the place. Truthfully i enjoy the styles. But i am writing this from the bathroom as i try to figure out how to hid a split open seam in my pants that have only been worn a few times. This is a theme lately as in the past year at least 6 of my items from them have suffered quality issues, usually in the seamwork. Ive got 3 shirts and 2 pants that ive patched due to bad sowing and this makes six. Im never shopping there again. The cuteness is not worth the "cheapness" of these overpriced clothes. I swear it didnt used to be like this.

In-store pickup isn't an option in Canada, so when I saw that to ship the blazer I needed was going to be $50 I decided to add a couple items. They shipped everything except the blazer, first they said it would ship separately, then they said it was cancelled. 3 days later the item I wanted is still offered in the size I ordered on the website so I reached out to have this rectified, and was served with some bs about the website being behind and don't worry I wasn't charged for the item. I asked if my entire order could be returned as I didn't need any of it without the blazer and was told the other items were clearance so non refundable. Whole thing feels like a sham to make me reorder the now more expensive blazer and repay for international shipping. Stay away from this shady company. If you go in-store, no problem, but DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. I will no longer be using this company at all based off the failed customer service when they could have made this right.

The price of shipping to Canada is beyond ridiculous. Not only is shipping $40, it's also all in U.S. dollars. There's alot of stores in Canada so this makes no sense

Absolutely terrible! Finally got to a store where I was excited to finally be able to try the ultimate bra with front closure. Second time I wore it the clip broke! Contacted the company and was told call the store we can’t do anything for you. Called the store and they said they can’t do anything call the company. Contacted the company again by email and said sorry it’s out of our hands you didn’t buy online… what the hell. I live 4 hours from the nearest store. I put a review on the bra on their site and got an email that my review was ‘moderated’ and they wouldn’t post it. Are you kidding me, no wonder the website reviews are all good they don’t post the negative ones! Shame on Torrid, will never buy a singe thing from them again
