Items weren't on final sale and now are and can't return. They weren't final sale on my receipt. The items quality is terrible, got a def Leppard shirt with 3 P:s. Everything is overpriced for sale prices, definitely makes me think about kohls law suit. Think torrid needs one.
screw torrid and the policy
screw torrid. I bought some bras from them back in November they didn't fit but they wouldn't let me return them I've been trying to sell them every since nothing. I ended up buying new ones in the right size. I've had them 5 months is all; one of them broke already. Torrid does not have a warranty so my 5 month old bra that I take care of by hand washing and hang drying I can't return or exchange because it's been more than 60 days their product was defective and the Bra wire snapped in half 5 months after owning it. I talked to 2 different people about this the 1st one was thankfully really nice about it about explaining it. The 2nd person not so much they rudely just told me that there's nothing I can do about it because I decided to wait until after 60 days to want a return and the best thing they can do for me is give me some cash. I didn't want cash I didn't want a return I want an exchange i spent an ungodly amount of money on bras because bras are expensive for my size but the best I can do is give me $15 and call it even. At least Victoria's secret allows you to an exchange of product if it's been defective less than a year after owning it

The clothing is aging but not in a good…
The clothing is aging but not in a good way, it's a bunch of ugly blouses, and tweety bird oversized shirts, mixed with cold shoulder potato sacks... all priced well above where they should be while the quality has been reduced 10 fold. Add in a barrage of constant "sales" driving all their actual sales, at the price these items should have been priced at to begin with.
This is coming from a VIP Torrid member for the last several years, but it just keeps getting worse and I think that membership is going away this year. It's all old, ill-fitting, out of style, and overpriced... Welcome to Lane Bryant 2005.

I would never order from them again
I would never order from them again. A week ago I thought I’ll try them. Put 33 items in my order, then it say two items not available. So have 31 items on my order. Place my order……. then all the sudden I see how much shipping fee was. Mmm, I thought that is lots a money specially I went on the Canadian site to order. The next day I went and look at my mastercard acc. I swear I thought it said 265.64 last night, but on my MasterCard it’s 564. So I found out even if it’s on the Canadian site, they charged U.S $. So yesterday I received mail from them. Saying only 10 items is on my order, the rest is not available.(why didn’t it say that when I put my order in? And on top of it, they changed the amount to $381.76. Now you want to tell me 21 items is not on the order and the difference is about $160.00. Yea, they fool me. Did not get the items for the price it said or the discount. So it is more then a week and my order is not ship yet. Today I phone them, was on hold forever. Since my order was not ship yet I wanted to cancel it, they said no. They rip me off so bad.
Canadians BEWARE of Online Shopping: Poor Customer Service
I ordered some clothing that was relatively cheap and on sale for Black Friday and it was a great deal. The clothing was good quality and the shoes fit great for a plus size or wide foot. That being said I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN, due to their return process and rude customer service support. If you are in Canada and thinking to order online from anywhere where there is not a torrid location close by to return the items to, I implore you not to order anything.
They will not pay for the return label, and although they ship from a Canadian location to save themselves money, they ask you to ship it to a location in the USA. So this makes the return cost you 80$-100$ easily. Might as well keep the poorly fitting clothes or shoes at that point considering you have to sell a kidney just to send back the items.
When speaking with customer service they were rude and unhelpful, they seemed to get this issue all the time and are more than happy to rip off customers left right and centre. They even suggested us to rent a car just to drive 4 hours to the nearest location to return the items to them but would not accept a shipment return anywhere in Canada. A bit absurd.

I wish I could give 0 stars. My order was placed on 11/25 showing all items in stock. On 11/26 the items I requested for store pick up were canceled. I placed the order for the canceled items on 11/26 for shipping. Shipped items were sent out in 2 packages 12/2. In today's climate that seems like a long time to wait for shipping. Today 12/8 1 of the 2 shipments is lost in transit. I received the other one. I reached out to customer support via email on 12/7 and didn't receive a response until 12/8 saying everything had shipped. I tried the chat feature but the mobile site doesn't allow it. So in my chat I was told contact them tomorrow since it hasn't been lost for 5 days yet. Slow shipping and inadequate technology make torrid an infuriating place to shop.

ordered gift cards, they never came, called customer service, and Some girl, offered to send replacement cards. Unfortunately when they came, they had no value. Two days later, still no cards and no refund. Terrible customer service. If you have hours to spend on the phone to try and resolve your issues, Torrid is for you! Its hard to get someone to actually slove issues. I will never purchase anything from them AGAIN!!!
Shoe sizing is farther off than I've ever experienced
They make up shoe sizing and then make you pay to return. I'm an 8.5 everywhere. The pair they sent were huge on me which has never happened. In order to exchange I send back on my own dime plus take 6 bucks from refund and then reorder. These shoes are nowhere near traditional sizing
Not impressed with Torrid sales
I have lots of Torrid clothing, that I always get on sale. This black friday and cyber Monday sales were a joke. Also, the bogo clearance is also ridiculous. They basically pick base prices and manipulate the sales so the items will come back to that price. Very disappointing!
Canadian Shoppers Beware
Canadian. I have been buying from Torrid for years but I had to do my first return and it is not worth it. The cost to return the items was more than the cost of the item. If you’re Canadian do not shop there as you won’t be able to return them unless you pay for shipping to return to the US despite the fact the order came from a Canadian warehouse and address.
Excellent in-person (WI), Phone Customer Service is Okay
I placed an order online on July 29, 2022 and paid $38 for overnight shipping. Their overnight shipping should really be called "speedy" or somthing with a time-frame of 2-3 business days. It said estimated delivery was July 30. I was leaving for vacation on July 31 so this was perfect. I got the first tracking email and it said delivery was estimated for August 1st. I called customer service, and they said since it hadn't arrived yet, it wasn't "late" yet, so they wouldn't refund my shipping charge. They asked me to call back once it had arrived. After 40 minutes on the phone with them, their response was to call back. I asked if they could call me on a certain date (I knew I would forget) and they said they didn't have that option.
Three months later, and I finally had time today to call. After 20 more minutes on the phone, I explained everything again. They tried to give me $25 in rewards cash, and I said no, I wanted to be refunded $38 because it didn't arrive overnight (it had arrived on August 2nd and 5th). They reluctantly gave me the refund. I honestly would have taken $38 in rewards cash, I love Torrid and will continue to shop there, but I will try to avoid their phone customer service.
I have had wonderful experiences with the store in Brookfield, WI and will continue shopping there. I do not do mail-in returns, I drive in to a store to do them.
Bought jeans on line
Bought jeans on line. Didn't fit as described. Bought USA instead of Canada. Told I could return in store. Used wrong exchange rate to return. Wouldn't change. Snarky Lisa (supposedly the manager) said there's nothing I can do. Spoke to customer service which took 3 tries to speak with supervisor who said she cannot change store rate. Too bad so sad.

I get SCAM emails pretending to be Amazon Prime and ask me to log in. The sender has an email address n this domain. Seeing this is not an email service, it is entirely possible this website's internal users are sending these emails with the intent to defraud people.
