Simon is awesome, so helpful, wouldn't go anywhere else

St Helens branch.i hadn't used this in a while due to having a bad situation with a manager. Went back in seen Michelle. She gave me amazing prices for my materials and was so professional. I would highly recommend her she's an asset to the company. She as restored my faith back to use Travis once again.

Chester - Used for the first (and now last) time. What a shambles. Hiab driver didn’t want to delver on my drive and wanted to leave in the road. He eventually did after a lot of moaning. That wasn’t the worst bit. Probably the worst timber I have ever had delivered. All warped and twisted. Supposed to be C16 but was shocking. They must have known when they picked it and loaded it but suppose they thought they would get away with it. Will never use again. Stick with Huws Gray or TradePoint.

We at Stockton Men's Shed would just like to say how thankful we are to Travis Perkins Middlesbrough, and in particular Alan, the manager and Matthew the assistant for their help in delivering our project at Hartburn Junior school. You may not know that the previous head had to retire in tragic circumstances, and we wanted to mark her leaving with something that the school could view in a positive way. This involved the restoration of a nature area containing a pond, which had to be fenced off and the area around it resurfaced. They basically gave us an open cheque book to source many of the materials we needed in order to complete this over the summer period while the children were on holiday. Local businesses do not always step up to support the local community, and we do not take this for granted. We are honoured to work with you to deliver something that might be lasting and remembered by the local community

I would like to thank the team at your Cowbridge branch for all their help to source materials when I found myself in Boverton without a summerhouse kit which had to be returned due to poor quality and damage. Not only were they extremely helpful they were also great lads and a pleasure to do business with. Will definitely use them again.

I wanted to leave this review to say how impressed I was with Paul the delivery driver yesterday 21st August 2026. He telephoned me to allow me to get from work to home in time to meet him. My ceiling collapsed and I was receiving a delivery of plaster boards and plaster. I live in an upstairs maisonette and Paul very kindly carried all the boards up the stairs with me and then he carried the plaster bags up aswell. I wasn't expecting this and I am extremely grateful to him. I think he is from the Leatherhead branch of Travis Perkins. Absolutely lovely man and very kind, please let him know I have left this review and hope he is commended by his managers.

Ordered site fencing for an event. Not a great service. Tonight I have seen they are taking another £1264 out of my personal account without any explanation or warning, this is not right nor should they have saved my details for just taking money out.
Do not give them your bank details!

Great Overall Service.....It is important that when you get a great professional service you highlight it. Firstly not only was the Travis Perkins website easy to order the prices were cheaper than both Wickes and B&Q and two further added bonus was it offered free delivery unlike the other two companies advised. Plus on top of all that the website offered a further 10% off the total. This discount was not trade it was open to everyone. Also the service offered from the local depot/branch in Coleford offered great customer service and rang straight away to arrange a delivery slot. The slot was agreed and they turned up with on time and pre warned me 30 minutes away followed by a great crane operator to delivered professionally.
Overall a great experience

Maybe ask next time when using someone’s drive way … it’s a private road so I could ………

The customer service and cooperation form the Hire department in TP, Stowmarket was first class . Booking was easy with Gavin and he provided a knowledgeable overview of the scaffolding tower for hire. Ben in the Hire team was extremely helpful, friendly and provided a reassuring service. A true credit to the company.

Great customer service from the office to delivery. Delivery was efficient, and the materials were carefully, and accurately placed where I asked.

Went onto travis Perkins site this morning to find out the type of sand I needed and the cost for putting over block paving .they suggested kiln dried sand and the cost includes the v a t at £5.75 per bag and to check it was available to collect ….got there and was charged £6.22 per bag ?????. He said that that price doesn’t include the VAT although it clearly states it at &5.75 per bag fully inclusive..after having a crap experience at this store earlier in the month I thought it was possibly a off day for them and I’ll give em one more chance !!!!!!!!!!either update your website to contain correct pricing structures. service very polite .quality of product as explained on the website .but alas you’ve let yourselves down again .i was wrong to give your company a second chance .please explain to me about this overcharging

I hired a ladder from Travis Perkins, and the entire process had terrible communication and hidden charges. On the day of scheduled delivery, I heard nothing, and by 3:30 PM I had to call them myself only to be told the ladder wasn't even in stock. They were fully aware of my order and simply didn't bother to reach out or inform me that I wouldn't be receiving it. I rescheduled the delivery for three days later, and while it arrived then, no new invoice or details were provided. Assuming it would be collected as originally agreed, I was subsequently hit with an unjustified late return charge. After calling in to complain, the ladder was finally collected and I was assured I’d be refunded both the deposit and the late fee. However, when the refund invoice arrived, the amount was wrong because it turns out they tack on a collection charge after the item is picked up, rather than including or explaining it when you make the initial purchase and hire deposit.
Zero proactive communication, chaotic invoicing, and unexpected fees at every turn. Absolute shambles of a company and process. I will never hire from them again and strongly advise everyone else to stay away.

I placed and order with Travis Perkins for a delivery to be made on Saturday 8th August . Received a text on Saturday morning to say driver Kwasi would deliver between 9:45 and 11:45. No delivery and could not contact the store as it had closed. Don't know when the delivery will be done. Also no way of contacting anyone in Travis Perkins over the weekend. really poor

Staines branch shut for an hour at lunch stating they had lack of staff. When they opened they had at least 5 staff siting around chatting.
I asked for a part, the guy said they don’t do what I asked for. When I told him the website said there were 3 in stock he told me the website can be wrong. I asked him to look and gave him the code. He checked and said he would look out the back but immediately came back with another guy who said they don’t do those parts. Again I said the website says there are 3 in stock. He asked if I was sure it was their website! Eventually they looked and came back with it. Terrible service!

Jack delivered my hired ladder today even though I only ordered it this morning and should have had to wait until Monday for delivery. I had arranged for a friend who is only free at the weekend to help me cut my out of control hedge tomorrow so really appreciated everyone’s efforts to get it delivered today !
Jack was so helpful and polite I wanted to leave a review for his manager to see , he is a credit to your company!

Bought some postcrete from the Ayelsford branch, as it was 30p cheaper per bag than B&q, Wickes, etc online. I was going to purchase it online and then pick it up at the store, but decided to just go to the store and buy it. When I looked at my receipt, it was 66p per bag dearer than the other stores. Why advertise at that price, when it is completely different instore?

I bought slabs and sand and o was asked if I had an account, I replied no. But the sales person failed to ask if I eould like to open an account. Which would have saved me a substantial amount of money, as a result of that I ended up paying g full price.i ended up having to go back as I got the wrong sand and got the correct one, it was the same sales person. I said to him about not asking if I wanted to oped up an account, he just replied no I didn't, in a rude manner, being a pensions I could have appreciated being ask to save me some money . He didn't seem to care. Thank you Travis Prekins

I bought a lintel after seeing their advert on their website, for quick next day delivery. I order after seeing its availability in the Manchester branch in my neighbourhood on higher price than market as i needed it quickly. After 2 days when it didn't arrive I phoned them they said it is not available and would probably take 2 weeks. I got annoyed then at least they should have told me themselves quickly but they didn't bother. Then I asked them to cancel it as I would go somewhere else as I needed it urgently, they confirmed the cancellation. However i had doubt cancellation over phone after previous experience , then I requested in writing by email to cancel my order as they were unable to deliver as promised. They replied me that cancellation had been done and refund would be issued. But, it didn't happen and today I received call from Manchester branch to confirm my name and address again despite I told them in writing, that is how these so called big companies try to teach individual consumers for cancellation even when they are unable to complete the order as per information displayed on their website. And keep using their money gir long time. Why don't they wait to take money until they are ready to deliver but when there is cancellation they take weeks to refund. Pathetic service from them.
