I am a Chartered Surveyor and Police registered Expert Witness with 40 years experience in the property profession. Under no circumstances should this type of product by this type of company, be installed in a domestic dwelling without a full and thorough professional assessment of the properties suitability beforehand ,by an independent professional (not the installing company's salesman -often referred to as a "surveyor"-which they are not )
I have on many occasions(for police and trading standards officers investigating these companies in the UK),found many houses that have had this product introduced for many thousands of £'s ,incorrectly and inappropriately ,where elderly and vulnerable home owners have been targeted by cold-calling sellers form call centres espousing the "benefits" of the product. It is a complete scam.
Many of these companies have been successfully subject to prosecution and their directors sentenced to jail.
This product is unsuitable for the majority of houses in the UK. Based on calculations I have completed ,it has a pay back period in excess of 45 years.
Conversely ,once introduced it is highly damaging to a property and at (considerable expense),will have to be removed ,often resulting in damage to the roof and underfelt ,which then also has to be replaced. It will render a house unsaleable/non mortgeagble if installed.
It is in my experience a scam, the majority of the time, by rogue traders/operators in this sphere of "home improvement" . If you are targeted- Please contact citizens advice immediately, who should then put you in touch with your local trading standards officer who will be able to assist you.
My advice is to avoid this modification to your property at all costs-it is for the large part a scam, by unscrupoulous and uncertified companies that offer warranties that are not worth the paper they are written on.

Same pattern. Would give zero if possible. Heartless practices to elderly vulnerable people. Should be ashamed.

Cold called my 86 year old mum and made an appointment.
Lucky they picked on the wrong lady as her very protective crew were there to greet him.
Told absolute lies!
This was in Dorset.
These people are the lowest of the low picking on the elderly!

On the pretext of checking previous work, this company used my number from their database.
Good point, their engineer did highlight some problems with my roof.
The down side is the hard sell. Initially £10,650, dropped to £6,450, then, £4950.
Now, that would be a great price, until I started checking out the company at Companies house and this site.
It would be a big job and it is too easy to see the bottom line price £ forgetting whom one is dealing with.
Too many bad and negative reports.
Please be very careful if you choose to use this company.
It may wort out ok, but, it is a gamble.

This company has targeted my elderly sister in law with Spray foam in her loft, roof tiles repaired and windows, all of which she did not need but was advised this work was required. Charged exorbitant costs for work and continue to ring her for more.
They just SCAM elderly who have no close relatives to consult.
AVOID AVOID DO NOT LISTEN TO THEIR OUTRAGEOUS SALES TALK.

If possible I'd give them minus 5! Told an elderly friend she needed new insulation, that the existing was damp, and she had a rodent infestation. Their solution would not have addressed rodents, grossly overpriced for rockwool, frightened her into giving a deposit, emails just bounce back and phone goes unanswered. Don't go anywhere near...

Dad has been told, by UK Cosy Homes, that his fibreglass loft insulation is illegal. It’s not illegal, Google it. He was told that he could potentially face a £40,000 fine for having it. If that isn’t absolute high pressure criminality I don’t know what is. Dad being the lovely law abiding man he is gets worried and puts £2k deposit down for them to replace it. Today I have to stop these guys driving up dad’s driveway and completing the work. What am I going to face? I don’t know. But Britain in 2025 shouldn’t be like this.

+ 3 emails, 2 phone calls, 2 letters sent and the refund process has finally been started. So it’s up to you whether you want to have the hassle of this. (I’ve upgraded my initial 1 star to 2 because progress has been made)

I put a 1500 pound deposit down on a contract for a wall spray but had second thoughts after I realised I had been told a few untruths so I cancelled the contract the same day ime still waiting for my deposit to be returned 3 weeks later . The woman on the phone just fobs me of with false promises.. ime am now taking legal advice to reclaim my 1500 pounds . Do not deal with this scamming company

This company has been calling my elderly vulnerable sister at least twice every day pressuring her to have a loft survey saying they are working on a Government initiative. They are not. They offer a ‘free survey’ and then quote an exorbitant price for spray foam insulation which most mortgage lenders will not lend on. Not to be confused with Cozy Home solutions who have had their identity stolen by this scam company. Terrible way to operate

As with the other reviews here, writing on behalf of my elderly relatives that were deliberately targeted.
They couldn't get in the loft to check the work completed, we have seen the state of the work.
Foam was sprayed everywhere with no care and joists were covered so they are sweating and the foam is already turning black and mouldy.
We have only just been told and cannot believe the story. Happy to add to any proceedings that are brought.

I could not give 0 stars to write this review. I am acting on behalf of my elderly relative and they have been scammed out of a lot of money by ukcozyhome Dorset.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. This company is a scam agent and never respond to calls and now fighting legally to recover money stolen by this company.
If you want loft insulation use the normal rock wall and plastic sheeting as spray foam is also not fire retardant so you will be putting your lives at risk.

This company should be avoided. A representative who happened to be in the area did a survey of the heat loss from our house. I stupidly agreed to pay a large deposit for replacement sash windows; largely because he showed me good reviews on Trustpilot. Fortunately, the Nationwide bank blocked the payment until they had spoken to me. I discovered that the Trustpilot reviews the surveyor had shown me on his phone were in fact for a different company, Cozy Homes Solutions. When I contacted them they told me that UKCozyhomes is well known to them and that they are seriously considering reporting them to Trading Standards.
