I bought the Vango sun canopy recently and have just used it on our weekend trip, I found it very simple to put up and it was extremely sturdy in heavy rain and reasonably strong winds. My only issue was when I came to dismantling it, one of the peg eyelets had been damaged when I was knocking in the pegs and actually fell out of the strapping when I removed the peg

The tent seem great when we put it up as a test but it did not come with ‘Vango Adjustable Steel King Pole Set 180-220cm’ needed to make the entrance flap into a sunshade - which we need for young children.

Ordering these two Vango Adjustable Steel King Pole Set 180-220cm separately a couple of days later we are disappointed that the two poles alone weigh nearly as much as the whole tent!
One of the reasons for buying this brand tent was the lightness advertised in the design.

So two points - Really expected the two poles to be included in the tent(!) and that either way, bought separately or not, we expected the two poles to be a far better light weight design like the main tent.

It was not easy to pump up to the required level. When the wind was blowing it kept collapsing the whole wall into the awning. We will try again soon and hopefully it will be better

I just wanted to say how impressed I am with the service provided by Vango customer services. First of all how easy it was to speak to a real person, who was then extremely helpful, understand immediately what the problem was and offering a solution. A new tube was dispatched which I received within 48 hours. All at no cost, well done Vango for excellent customer service.

Recently bought the new Havana sofa and Pulsar light as new additions to our camping gear. The sofa is very stylish, easy set up and very comfortable, lots of room for us plus our Sprocker Spaniel to chill out on.
The Pulsar light is compact easily hung, bright or more subtle light settings and just right for our porch area or indeed other areas of the tent.

Very happy with both purchases and the usual Vango quality, very speedy delivery as well 😃

We purchased a universal carpet, delivered very quickly and the quality of this is very good. An ideal finishing touch to our tent!

I have several Vango products including 2 of my tents, the latest of which is a Solace 400TC. The build quality is top notch, tent is very easy to put up and most importantly does not leak or suffer when the weather is less than ideal. Healthy amount of space, good ventilation and does have footprint plus carpet specific to this model which is always a big bonus. Vango not always the cheapest but you do get what you pay for!

The actual awning is great but we have two issues: 1. The pump is inflate only whereas older awnings seem to be inflate/deflate. We have found removing all the air difficult so I raised this with Customer Service who were most unhelpful. 2. The drive away awning kit is not wide enough for the new VW T7. We bought an additional kit and some “locks”. These have proved completely useless. Again Customer Service were equally useless!

Giving it a three due to the struggle we had erecting this awning. Turned out to be too big for us so I accept the struggle may have been us rather than the design. Couldn’t fault the quality of the product.

Bought a drive away faros 3 for my caddy maxi a couple of months ago, just had chance to use it this weekend, great bit of kit. There are a couple of options to attach it to the van, i dont have a awning rail so i used the velcro straps and it worked well to be fair, it stood up to some heave wind and rain but i think ill be putting a awning rail on for more of a sealed fix, thumbs up from me 👍👍👍

I purchased a tent from Vango. Great piece of kit it's clearly reasonably hard wearing well designed, reasonably light weight and compact. I look forward to the next ten years of using it. It was a great service and arrived promptly even at the height of the outdoor sales season. I used to buy Vango kit 20 years ago and I'm glad I went, it's still as solid as it was.

Reviewed my purchase on Vango’s site, including video, allowing me to make an informed decision. Having now use the awning, it was the perfect choice for a VW Campervan.

I’ve used Vango for many years and couldn’t fault the equipment if bought. I recently got my vango tent out of the loft to put up in the garden to air off as we’re planning a trip soon. Upon erecting the tent I noticed that the bedroom compartment was missing I contacted Vango to ask if they sold them amd a lovely lady called Karen sent me one out completely free of charge and it was 24 hour delivery absolutely fantastic customer service

We purchased the Vango Airbeam sun canopy which is designed for caravans and motor homes, however we have used this on our tent due to the attachment straps and it looks brilliant and provides us with an additional outdoor space. It’s really well made and very stable. We love it. And thank you for the super fast delivery!

Recently tried out my new tent shortly after purchase.
Went on a solo bikepacking trip to give the tent a one night test.
Initial thoughts are that the tent is reasonably light and very well made. Some neat design features, great ventilation and is roomy.
Survived overnight heavy showers with some dampness through the groundsheet. I guess an additional footprint would be useful for wet weather.
However, no condensation or leakage through the fly.
Absolutely delighted with the purchase and would thoroughly recommend!

Vango 300 great tent

Vango told me they would let me know when footrests in stock which they did do.
I ordered them and received them last week they are of
the quality you would expect from Vango having tested them over the weekend just what we wanted do not understand one review regards no instructions as chairs are very easy to unfold and footrest just clip onto chair frame .
excellent company and staff to deal with.
