Shocking non existent customer service...beware!! Ordered items but didn't realise they would be shipped from US. I needed the items quicker so emailed to cancel immediately after ordering. No reply 24 hours later so emailed again and still no reply

Incredible service. Will order from again. Ordered on 19th Dec, arrived today (27th). Exactly what I wanted, use this brand anyway but had run out and no one could grab me some from states anytime soon. Thank you!

iHerb is selling it at 20% less than their price.

The supplements came quick, and I didn’t pay the transport for my order as they offer free shipping over 30£.

I was worried about ordering as they are based in the US. I used a credit card when ordering as I would be able to claim my money back if my order never arrived.
Ordering was easy and the website was easy to navigate and find what I wanted. I recieved a tracking number and could track my delivery every step of the way. Order arrived within a couple of weeks. There was no issues with customs etc.
I have recommended this site and will use them again myself.

I was a little dubious about ordering feminine health products from this store (the manufacturer does not ship directly to UK) as it is US based and was concerned about customs costs & time delays. However, I was wrong to worry as my order arrived within a week! Super impressed & would recommend to anyone UK based.

I've ordered items twice now both before and after HMRC changed VAT rules on items ordered from the US and I've never had a problem. Items are ordered from the US but are redespatched from a UK address so there is no reason why the Post Office or a courier would seek to claim an outstanding VAT amount from you. It's only when items arrive direct from the US that you have problems. Brilliant service, wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Got some high quality melatonin at a decent price. No additional vat fees as each item under £15 super fast delivery from the US I'll be ordering again

Order received today. Took 10 days in total and all products packaged pristinely. No complaints and will always check website for US brands I find hard to source.

Have used these people a few times for hard to get in the UK stuff. Yes they are based in the US and that is totally clear on their website, and yes the order to delivery times can be correspondingly longer, in my case 3 weeks from end to end. But the product is what I wanted, the prices are fair and the communication transparent. Give them a break!

Order not arrived they do not reply to emails i do not advise using them

I ordered last week and they hadn’t sent anything so I sent them an email to ask them why they hadn’t dispatched yet. And it says on there site that it takes 2 - 5 days for them to send it and this is what I got back from the customer service
“ Well as you may be the only person on the planet unaware...we are in the midst of a pandemic. The current situation has affected businesses worldwide. Everyone is doing their best to get you your "essential" supplements. Unfortunately, we can't just "pack it up and send through the post"...Are you assuming that you are our only customer?“ I couldn’t believe it like I’m Not stupid and I don’t know what is going on! I mean we are all on lockdown! I’ve ordered from other site from different countries this month and I’ve gotten them with no problem. I can understand international shipping taking awhile but dispatching the item I wouldnt Think it would be a problem. No matter what I’m the customer and they are the retailer and no customer should be talked like that but a retailer! If anyone know there number and can send it that would be great.

I have only received part of my order. The paperwork enclosed indicated that all items were enclosed. I emailed customer services on 25th January and again yesterday, and have not even received an acknowledgement, never mind a response. This is shocking customer service. I should not have to post a review like this. I am surprised that Vitamin Grocer has any customers left at all. Despatch the remainder of my order, I should not be chasing you for it!

I purchase product NOT available in UK from this company. 5* customer service. No custom charges as FOOD supplement!

I have still not received my products that is ordered over a month now. This is unacceptable and this company should be banned. After reading all the other reviews, I believe that this website should be shut and not advertise as uk. This is false advertisement and I will from now on stick to real UK stores and not US!

Goods not delivered and wouldn't refund_ said wait until they are returned which they probably never will. Very poor

Brilliant service from start to finish.
Cheapest that I could find anywhere online, communication was excellent from the seller, and received my vitamins within 5 days. Highly recommend. Will definitely be using again.

I myself felt duped when i ordered as others have mentioned regarding stuff being sent from the USA. Anyway all is good. Items arrived roughly 9-10 days after ordering which is excellent for US airmail. Very happy. Thanks.

Misleading - Not happy!
I went online to buy a few things to help me reduce waste and my carbon footprint a little. Some muslin bags to get my loose unpackaged fruit and veg in when I go shopping, a couple of tea infusers so I an stop buying plastic containing tea bags and use loose tea instead, and a few other bits. Had I have known these would have been shipped all the way from the US there is NO WAY I would have bought from this company! How can they call themselves Vitamin Grocer UK and have a .co.uk URL when they are based in the US? I am trying to reduce pollution and now have unwittingly added to it. My items still haven't arrived yet which is how I found out where they were based as went on to track my order, if I get hit for customs charges as well then I'll be refusing the delivery.
If a company is using a UK URL and not based in the UK they should make it clear on the checkout page at least to give people the option to make an informed choice whether to carry on with the purchase.

Due to these ratings, I was afraid to order, plus I was also concerned about customs charges. I took a chance and emailed customer services with my concerns and was given a prompt and friendly response. I am glad I ignored the Trust Pilot ratings, my package was sent from America in less than 2 weeks (they're AMERICAN BASED) and arrived to me safely with everything, no customs charges (they actually offered to pay if I was charged!) , all my products were good quality. I am beyond happy with my purchase and the customer service is really polite and helpful. If you're hesitant I'd say take the chance, they've got a fantastic range of cosmetic products for dark skinned women than what is sold here in the UK and want to make a second order already!
