My learning journey with Walbrook has been inspirational. Despite having several setbacks that sometimes threatened to derail my progress, I have had great support from my tutor Wendy Chowne, and the Walbrook team. Would definitely recommend them as a learning provider.

Despite multiple calls and follow-ups over the past few days, I have received little to no clear response from your team regarding the course fee structure, payment procedure, and the agreed exemption modules. This lack of communication has made it increasingly difficult for me to proceed with confidence.

Based on my experience so far, and after reviewing feedback from others, I have decided to withdraw from pursuing my education with Walbrook Institute London. I will be continuing my academic journey with another institution that offers more reliable support and clearer communication.

I want to be transparent: the repeated delays, lack of responsiveness, and instances of your staff ending calls mid-discussion have left me disappointed and disheartened. I now realize that this experience has been a valuable early lesson in what to expect from an institution—and unfortunately, it has not been a positive one. I appreciate your team member ‘xxxx’ honesty; she was right—this institute is not the right fit for me.

Thankfully, I have not made any financial commitment yet. I now have the opportunity to invest my hard-earned money in an institution where I feel respected and supported.

Thank you for the experience—albeit not the one I had hoped for.

The content in the courses is up to date with Industry practises and this helps you to apply principles learnt easily. I enjoy the flexibility in the study model, which allows me to study at my own pace. I have completed 2 Certificates so far and look forward to my next.

Really good learning material provided for CeMAP, I like how some topics offer videos/audio and the knowledge tests are so helpful to understand where you are at with your studies. Cannot fault the experience and already looking at a new course to take. Would encourage anyone to use their services for learning.

Such a bad organisation as a whole. Terrible at contact via phone and email, problems get totally ignored or danced around.

I recently completed a certification through Walbrook and was impressed by the quality of the study materials and overall structure of the course. The content was comprehensive, well-organised, and clearly aligned with industry standards, which made preparation much more effective. Earning the certificate has added real value to my professional credentials. I would definitely recommend Walbrook to anyone seeking a serious and practical learning experience.

Website and topics were accessible and in an understandable format, but not enough past papers or even any available to purchase.

I've recently completed CeRER & CeMAP with LIBF and am taking DipFA now. I've found all the course materials to be excellent, and the customer support has always been great. I've taken several online-invigilated exams and the set up is easy to follow and works well.
I'd recommend LIBF to any aspiring advisers, the course content has prepared me well for real-world client scenarios, both with mortgage and equity release cases.

I did a course with the LIBF. I was really impressed with all the learning materials and how easy it was to access.

Having had laptop issues at the time of my exam, LIBF stepped in and ensured I wasn’t charged by Pearson who wrote the exam.

Everyone I spoke with was delightful. A great educational institution.

I've had nothing but positive experiences with LIBF/Walbrook. Their customer support has been excellent, always responsive and helpful. While myLIBF platform isn’t the most visually appealing, it’s highly functional. Accessing exam materials, booking exams, and receiving results was all quite smooth

The guidance and support provided through the textbook and the My LIBF site were extremely helpful. They enhanced my understanding of the UK financial market and its regulations. As someone who enjoys self-learning, I found the interactive texts and additional reading materials particularly valuable.

The content is well-structured, up-to-date, and developed by leading experts in the field. I truly appreciated how each module builds a strong foundation while also challenging you to think critically and apply real-world standards like UCP 600, ISBP, URDG 758, and more.

I’d highly recommend these certifications to anyone looking to deepen their expertise and gain credibility in trade finance — whether you’re just starting out or already working in the field.

I was withdrawn from my course by LIBF without any explanation. On 21/03/2025, I was told I would receive a refund of my fees within 10 working days. As of today, I have still not received anything.

On 3rd April, I was sent what they claimed was “proof of payment,” but it was just a screenshot from their internal system—no actual bank transaction or credible evidence of payment. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

What’s even more concerning is that I am not the only one—other students have experienced the same treatment: sudden course withdrawals, missing refunds, and poor communication. This is clearly a wider issue, not just an isolated mistake.

Due to their mishandling of my case, I was awarded compensation—an acknowledgment that they failed in their responsibilities. However, that does not excuse the fact that I’m still waiting on the actual refund I was promised.

I’ve had to escalate the matter to Action Fraud, the OIA, and the SFO. Please think twice before trusting LIBF with your education or your money.

LIBF : Ever heard more absurd responses to avoid refund exam fee when their service delivery provider failed to conduct it. Decided to skip whole course and move on. Whoever ( LIBF)took payment is responsible. They try to say they ONLY sold Registration to exam not Exam. Absurd— Misleading selling at least — Will submit money claim to courts unless they come to their senses in ten days. Be careful NOTE- agreed refund in 10 days - still waiting. Anyone who need to use Pearson vue as test centre for libf certs - think twice.

A great idea, being able to study MSc Finance courses from a distance. All signed up, student finance confirmed, all for LIBF to cancel the course one week prior to the expected start date due to ‘restructuring’ and it no longer being an offered course. They then tried to offer me an alternative course that they are still running, plus a new one they’re creating, that in no way fit with the original masters I’d planned. Not exactly a confidence filling institution

I wish I’d avoided the university from the outset now. Back to square one with future study thanks to their incompetence.

The finance department are very rude.

An agreement was made for instalments to be paid by end of May, and now been notified that I’m being withdrawn from the course.

Absolutely ridiculous this institution cannot keep their promises.

Very deceitful and disgusting!

I had a very positive experience during the admission process with LIBF. Yasmin, the student advisor, was incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the entire journey. She took the time to explain everything clearly and patiently, making sure I understood each step. Her guidance and responsiveness made the whole process smooth and stress-free.
