Wouldn't even give these a star rating but unfortunately had to put one so I could tell everyone how much of a rip off this company is. If I was you I wouldn't even waste my time signing up with these. You will be deducted a minimum of 48% wage a week in tax and national insurance. AVOID AT ALL COST PEOPLE.

These lot never answer the fone.. mess up our pay.. and then have the cheek to take different amounts of tax and national insurance.. even tho I get payed the same money..and also EMPLOYMENT COSTS ( company's national insurance ).. avoid at all costs

Workr group were my umbrella company when I was an agency radiographer.
Every contact I had with them was positive. They were knowledgeable, helpful and professional.
I had issues with with my recruitment agency paying me and Gareth went the extra mile to make sure the issue was resolved. A very good company and I would recommend them highly.

Still early to give review but this is based on the customer service assistance giving by a staff named Jordan the guy was so calm and explained in details all the questions I asked him and even told me to call back if I remember any other thing which I can't think of at that moment. Customer support they are great.

Still just reviewing the initial approach and not their services. Updated to 5 stars today after being contacted back in a funny and friendly manner and getting all the answers to my initial questions, thanks Gareth, glad I gave a second chance to my date :)

In all fairness I can’t comment on the services offered by the company as am just reviewing the company as a potential client trying to get information from the services they offer.

But in term of initial approach it has been a disappointment. I contacted them three times by email with two simple questions that just require yes/no type of answers.

The first time I was just sent back a very generic email asking for my circumstances in order to run a simulation. This in spite of clearly explaining my circumstances very clearly in my initial email.

After that I emailed them twice, with the same questions, but never received any replies.

If I go on a first date, and the woman I meet keep checking her phone and don’t seem to show any interest in me, I will tend to have certain gut feelings that maybe I should move on.

Very efficient - was contacted 1st thing by phone - in response to my email over the weekend. I had many questions as this was first experience working for agency. Was put through to speak to the person best equipped to deal with the my questions. He was extremely helpful, explained the pros and cons of umbrella vs CIS was very transparent, gave me good advice for the future, helped me answer the relevant questions and got us set up. Whole experience engendered trust.

Having been with WORKR for just under a year I have found them to be extremely professional in their dealings with me in particular making prompt payments and dealing with my requests. I have no complaints about the service provided to me and would unhesitatingly recommend their services as an umbrella company to other workers

Workr are my first Umbrella Co. From initial set up to first payments everything went smooth and as per all that was carefully explained to me. I had a few queries and they were answered promptly and clearly.
Workr deal direct with my agents, sorted multiple source incomes into 1 payroll payment and gave me helpful worked examples as to the effect of a range of pension deductions to help me save for future and work in a tax efficient way. James Costello has been very helpful in helping me sort out my end of year tax claim. I have had to request the same information twice because I didn't download it the first time and he has been really helpful about it. Rapid straightforward good service

A lovely company to deal with. The advisor who called me was very knowledgable and concise when explaining the protocol. He was very helpful when answering my queries both via telephone and email. The whole transaction went seamlessly, from the first telephone call to the form filling. Highly recommended.

I have used other Umbrella companies in the past and in my opinion Workr Umbrella stand head and shoulders above the rest.
They have been very proactive in making sure I had everything I needed to be in place prior to starting my next contract in superfast time.
The benefits package was something I really did not expect and it is good to know that something like this is in place.
Cant recommend them highly enough.
