Sally organised a two week trip to Australia for us (a family of four). She did an amazing job, the trip met all of our needs and surpassed our expectations. She ensured the whole trip was suitable for both boys (age 22 and 11) and made useful recommendations along the way. I don’t believe we could have organised this trip cheaper than Sally did. Her communication was great and when one of our accommodations was cancelled last minute, she had sorted o it the problems before I had even realised there was one. I would 100% recommend and will definitely be returning to wandering tribe in the future!

Sally organised a trip for our family of 5 to Greece in August 2025. We asked to visit Athens, then to go to the islands to have some beach time, with Greek mythology thrown in. Sally organised a fantastic 10 day trip for us. Accommodation was amazing and she found places where we could all be together. Timings were spot on and we did not have to worry about anything. Thank you so much Sally!

We recently travelled to Lapland organised by Sally. She was great at keeping in touch and solving any queries super quickly.
Our son has special needs and Sally’s preparation meant that the tour company were informed and understanding. We had some tricky moments (as usual!) but many more magical ones!
The trip to Santa’s cabin was perfect, the team even sent a spare driver to take us back early and let us go first to meet Santa.
The special assistance through Frankfurt and Zurich was phenomenal, really made a difference.

Sally planned an amazing trip for us to Saariselkä (Lapland) with amazing accommodation and activities. Her communication throughout was amazing and all of her tips and information helped make it an even more unforgettable experience.

Sally organised a trip to Finnish Lapland for our family (4 adults, 2 children) in December 2025. We had the most amazing time, from meeting Santa to riding and driving snowmobiles to seeing the northern lights and riding reindeer sleighs. All the travel, accommodation and activities were organised superbly, our itinerary was customised to what we wanted, and Sally was superb thoughout. I cannot recommend Wandering Tribe more highly, and we will be booking many more holidays with them!

Just back from a wonderful trip to Borneo with our 3 boys. I had wanted to embark on a real adventure for a long time, but with the chaos of life and work, struggled to find the time to take on the organisation.
Sally was fantastic in putting together an itinerary for our trip and talking through our options. Once we arrived, her additional detailed notes were fantastic - giving us the confidence to explore for ourselves further as well.

Sally organised our trip to NYC and the Canadian Rockies in May this year and I cannot recommend her enough! She gave great advice initially about what time of year would be best for us to go, and how long she would suggest spending in each area. The itinerary she planned for us was perfect, and incredibly detailed, with info about how to book tickets to various things, places to eat, suggestions that we just wouldn't have thought of or found ourselves. If you want an adventurous holiday but are too busy with work, kids and life in general to dedicate the time to planning it, please use Wandering Tribe. Sally organised the trip of a lifetime for us in Saariselka, Lapland, earlier this year. Communication was faultless throughout the whole booking process. Everything went seamlessly - flights, transfers, pick ups for activities. Saariselka is so beautiful and peaceful. Sally tailored the trip to suit the needs of our small children and her detailed trip notes gave fantastic recommendations for places to eat and visit. We have wonderful memories of husky racing, reindeer safari, searching for Santa and snowshoeing to last a lifetime. Our Costa Rica family holiday was amazing. Right from the start Sally was able to help us work out the best trip to suit our needs. From our initial enquiry through to last minute changes, our experience with Wandering Tribe was excellent. Sally was always quick to respond to any queries, and helped put together a fantastic itinerary for our family holiday to Borneo. Even when our outbound flight was cancelled by the airline at the very last minute, Sally was on hand to help rearrange hotels and pick ups (even though she was travelling back from her own holiday!)

Absolutely magical trip from start to end in Saariselka. Smooth and efficient booking process with every detail (flights, accommodation, transfers, trips and outdoor clothing hire) all taken care of. Beautiful town and the visit to see Father's Christmas is a must. Our favourite memory was the reindeer safari, as we were in the wilderness and the reindeer kept initating affection with our daughter. Would definitely recommend and hope to book again.

Truly the best trip of our lives. I can't really get across well enough how helpful, flexible and incredible Sally was...with planning the trip, making multiple changes (due to a change in travellers at the last minute), even getting back to us while we were away when we had a query. She bent over backwards to try and accommodate our needs and the resulting trip was one of a kind.
The information pack is inspiring, excitement-inducing and full of useful information; the itinerary is varied and caters for all; the locations and "things to do" once there are interesting, exciting and super fun.
Sally created a bespoke trip as we wanted to go for three weeks and we feel so lucky to have had the best trip thanks to her; it was also much more affordable than some other well-known companies we considered early in our search.
We will be getting back in touch with Sally and Wandering Tribe when we go on our next family adventure.
A mention about Costa Rica - fantastic location to visit for most ages (we were a family with children aged 11) and interests (the eco element was interesting and inspiring - well done Costa Rica!)

Sally helped us plan a trip of life time in Western Canada. Throughout the planning process, she was helpful and patient despite us changing the itinerary many times. She was responsive to our needs and put together the perfect combination of adventure and relaxation. Even when the Jasper wild fires meant that we had to alter our itinerary, she took all the angst out of the situation and within hours had re-routed the trip. Highly recommended!

Wandering Tribe went above and beyond.
We booked a 2 week trip to Costa Rica with Wandering Tribe and everything truly is planned to finer detail. We were provided everything we needed up front to ensure the trip went without a hitch. We flew out on Easter Sunday and due to the first flight being delayed, we almost missed our connection but Sally contacted us to provide support, despite it being a holiday in the UK.
Due to some last minute work plans, i had to amend my flight home and Sally went beyond to help as much as possible.
We had the holiday of a lifetime.

My Family set of for the Belize trip guided by Sally's experience of the country and the regions we would be visiting as Sally had already road tested all the accommodation and experiences available on the holiday. The transfers between the various resorts was seamless with Sally organising a very efficient and friendly company to get us where we needed to be. The accommodation was excellent throughout and the guides arranged by Sally at the various Mayan and Jungle sites we visited were all experts in both the history and ecology of the area. They were informed and fascinating to talk to about the modern Belize and Mayan culture in the region as well as the tremendous amount of wildlife we encountered. The Holy Grail of wildlife encounters in Belize is a Jaguar and of all of the wildlife guides we talked to only one had seen a Jaguar in the wild whilst guiding a guest so we didn't expect to see one. However, ten minutes after saying how amazingly lucky we would be to glimpse a Jaguar, one walked across the road in front of us before disappearing into the jungle. This was five seconds that was the peak of our trip away, but even if we hadn't seen the Jaguar, this trip was excellent and expertly planned by Sally. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she was on hand thought planning and travelling to address any issues that may have arisen. I would thoroughly recommend this holiday and Wandering Tribe.

We had our first family holiday in December 2023 to Lapland. As a nervous and inexperienced traveller going with 2 young children the help and patience from Sally Dodd was priceless. She answered every email no matter how silly with a warm and helpful reply even when we were there and I was panicking about silly things!
All our excursions were pre-booked and ran so smoothly. Our accommodation was gorgeous and our holiday was overall the best trip I have ever had and I thank Sally for that.
No complaints just wonderful praise for her and wandering tribe. I honestly can’t recommend them enough and will be using again in the future.
