I RETURNED THE ITEM USING THE FEDEX RETURN LABEL THAT WILSON LEATHER PROVIDED AND RETURNED IT TO FEDEX DROP OFF LOCATION IN WALGREENS SOUTH ORANGE, NJ. WILSON LEATHER IS SAYING THEY HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE PACKAGE. I ASKED THEM FOR THE TRACKING NUMBER FROM THE LABLE THEY PROVIDED AND THEY ARE SAYING THEY CAN'T FIND THE LABLE. I bought a leather jacket from Wilson's on 9/9/24 for $295 and on 10/11/24 I went on the Wilson's website to purchase another leather jacket and saw that the jacket I purchased on 9/9/24 was on sale for $116 so I called customer service to see if I could get a price adjustment and I was told that I was past the 14 day window for that and I was out of the 30 day window but the rep suggested I email customer service support and explain to them how ridiculous and unfair it was to not honor a price adjustment or even a store credit for the difference in price for a jacket that was marked down so low in less than 30 days of me purchasing it for $295 I also took pics of the jacket because I had not worn it yet it still had the tags on it and no one responded back to me about this so I will never order another jacket or anything from them again.

The worst customer service they dont put apartment numbers on packages although you have submitted it over and over. I never had so much trouble and aggravation over an order. I could of literally went on amazon got a jacket and have it on already. I think they are RACIST bunch of people. THey have no remorse for the customers this will be my third time trying to get something i paid for . DO your self a favor and dont shop at wilsons everrrrrr. I rather TEMU!!!!!!!
nightmare customer service
Such a bad experience. Customer representative Alicia was so unprofessional and dismissive. My order was supposed to arrive in 3 business days as I paid for $20 express shipping. I called two days after placing the order as I didn’t get shipping info, and Alicia confirmed they haven’t shipped it yet, and she would send a note to the warehouse to ship it. She couldn’t promise it would arrive the next day (so 3 days), and couldn’t promise that I could get my $20 back for express shipping. I told her when I receive it, could I return it, and she said they would deduct $6 shipping fee. Honestly such a nightmare experience.
I work in customer service myself, and the correct thing would’ve been to expedite the order for the next day. But instead, Alicia spoke in monotone, and did not care at all about customer satisfaction. Equivalent to an experience at the Secretary of State…

I have purchased several leather jackets over the years, always preferred Wilsons and still do. Problem right now is the website where they state they have a particular size, so I order it, Big & tall leather jacket with flag print lining E-WX7A1021 Brown XLT
and they send me the wrong size, an LT , which is NOT listed as one of the sizes that are available. If someone wants an LT they are, but the website isn't right. . I call and I am told by 2 different agents that the size I request XLT is out of stock, yet on the website it states it is still available. I could order another one now. I ask how I am to know when this size will be in stock, agent says to call them....

Their address said it was coming from Florida. turns out it came from Pakistan. It took about 6 weeks to arrive, the jackets were very low quality. they run small, and do not look like the photos.

When Processing never Processes
I'm not sure about the quality of their products because mine never arrived. The order displayed as "processing" for 3 weeks. So after the wait and the radio silence on their part, I finally reached out to them.
Customer service explained to me that there had been a technology glitch and the item I ordered and paid for had not actually been available. It was now on backorder. When I asked for a general time frame of when I could expect it, they were unable to provide one and stated that the jacket may never arrive.
Still hoping to gain some type of mutual benefit from the transaction, I asked if there was an alternative of equivalent value. (My wife and I had purchased this jacket as a Christmas gift for my son and had, foolishly perhaps, told him to expect it.) The only option I was given was to cancel the order.
So not knowing if I would ever receive the item I paid for, and not being able to order an alternative, I was left with no other choice but to cancel my order. Actually, I guess I could have let them continue to hold onto the money I paid for an item they didn't seem sure if they would ever be able to send me. The lack of communication from them seemed to indicate that they would prefer the second alternative.
I asked them to cancel the order. I am waiting on a refund to arrive in the next few days.
The general attitude throughout the chat with customer service seemed to indicate that this was normal operating procedure. To be fair, he was quick to issue a refund once I contacted the company to ask about the order that I had paid for that they weren't sure if they would ever be able to send me.
Wilson's Leather is good stuff.
I'm not sure why the internet consensus is that Wilson's Leather apparel isn't good or of quality. Twice now I've owned a Wilson's Leather jacket and they have both been great.
The first jacket was an insulated leather bomber that wasn't wild crazy quality but it was worth a bit more than I paid for it imo as I snagged a super deal on it. A touch thin compared to the Superdry leather I have now and didn't have the lux buttery-ness that the Superdry jacket does, but not cheap feeling and it held up well enough that I was able to sell it on for as much as I paid for it new.
The most recent purchase, just in the last few weeks, was a puffer leather jacket. I somehow wasn't aware that puffer jackets were made from leather, thought they were all synthetic. So, I wasn't sure how the coat would feel in hand once it came. (online order) I read enough bad reviews of Wilson's to start doubting my decsion but it was for naught. The coat is amazing, if it had some trendy branding like say, Burberry, it could easily be sold for a grand. However, brands like that always leave me disappointed because, besides certain select items meant for people who actually really have money, their products are, at best, middling to just plain cheap. The puffer is not a thousand dollar jacket but based on the look, feel, weight, and construction, I'd say someone could sell it fairly at $400ish tops, without some well known poor man's a rich man branding. Put COACH or something on it and it'd go for a grand or more retail. Of course it WOULD feel cheap for a $1000 but that's what I expect from those types of brands for the most part. With Wilson's on the tag I could spend twice as much as I did and not feel hoodwinked.
I think they are just in a position where the volume of sales they do is helping lower the price. I'd be willing to bet they make jackets for brands much more expensive and people just aren't told or aware of it. So if you're feeling hesitant due to Wilson's bad online reputation, I wouldn't be. The quality is great and if you want to buy from them I would suggest triple checking the sizing and color etc. so you don't have to chance their customer service.
Watch out for a sale because they have some good ones here and there. If you shop with a little extra caution to avoid thier customer service you're sure to be happy with your purchase.
Customer service does not help you
I bought two jackets for Black Friday, one 50% off and one 40% off. The 50% off one was damaged when it came, so I tried to contact support to get an exchange. After several tries and asking the same questions about 3 times, I finally called them and learned they will not do exchanges at all. They only do returns, and they will not put an order in for you to get it when the product comes into stock if it is out of stock. They said they would put a note on my account saying I could get the discounted price, but only for 30 days after my shipment arrived (which I had already wasted about a week trying to get answers), and if it HAPPENED to come back in stock then I could call them and they would order it for me for the cheaper price. So basically I was told it was too bad for me, they will not give a time extension because it isn't available and they will not help me get it. It's all on me to keep checking their site every day to see if it comes in stock, and then call them as soon as it does. Except it never has, and my 30 days are about up. Their customer service is almost useless, they do not serve their customers and they do not fix anything. They just tell you to go do everything, and if it doesn't work out for you, oh well. It's not my fault that the jacket is constantly sold out. I have no problem waiting if they had told me they would get it in for me, but it would be a while. I am extremely frustrated with their lack of effort and caring, and the ONLY reason they are getting two stars is because I do still have the other jacket and it seems like decent quality. But I am ordering the other one from somewhere else, I am done with this company. And I am sick of trying to keep track to see if I can order from them or not, I have better ways to spend my time and money.
Fake, low quality "leather" products
I got a bag from them. They advertise high quality craftsmanship and leather products.
The tote I got fell apart in a few months. The "leather" (which isn't real) started pealing. The stitches came undone. Leather around the magnetic button completely came off a long with the button.
I should have known it wasn't real leather when I got it but, since it was advertised as so, I chose to believe them.
I wouldn't buy from them again.

Wilson’s Leather is terrible at resolving issues for online purchases. I returned a leather jacket recently, because the quality was poor and the size was inaccurate. It took Wilson’s Leather 3 weeks after receiving the return to issue refund. Because my original form of payment was no longer valid—card was compromised—, I was asked to provide a PayPal account to receive refund the same day or provide an address to receive a check refund which would take an additional 3 weeks. When I spoke with the representative today about the optional refund methods, I was told that no customer has ever complained about being charged a PayPal fee when receiving a refund from Wilson’s Leather. So, that was the option I chose. Well, I was charged a PayPal fee. On top of my being charged by PayPal, Wilson’s Leather charges a return fee of $6. I was aware that there is a fee to return item, which is ridiculous, but was told by one of the representatives a couple of days prior that because I did not receive refund within 10 to 14 business days, she would submit a request that the $6 return fee be waived. When I called back to resolve, I was told that I had been misinformed. If you are considering ordering online from Wilson’s Leather, DON’T. You will be sorry you did if you find yourself having to return purchase. I prefer Angel Jackets when ordering online. The quality of their jackets are better and they issue the full refund or make every effort to resolve to your satisfaction. There is a reason Wilson’s Leather’s ratings are poor. I use to love Wilson’s Leather. I will not say never, but at this point I have no intentions of being a repeat customer.

Paid for expedited delivery. Delivery not received in timeline promised and paid for. Will never buy from this retailer again. It should be honest with delivery estimates and not blame cold weather (not snow but cold weather) for failure to timely deliver. Other retailers delivered same day they could not.

I wish I could give it a 0 star. I have been buying online products for years and I never had this bad experience with anybody but Wilson leather online. I ordered a jacket on Friday for my fiancé and paid for 2 days shipping since I need it before Thursday. But they didn’t ship the product until Wednesday even I called them 3 consecutive days from Sunday to Tuesday. They kept on refunding my money on my card and charging back at the same time every day. When I called on Sunday they said it will be ship tomorrow. When I called on Monday they said its shipped and we will email you the tracking info by the evening and will be there by Wednesday night. When I called on Tuesday they said they overlooked my order so it won’t be shipped until tomorrow. I asked them to cancel my order but they don’t know how to do that even it was before shipping. Worst experience ever. Now they shipped my product today “Wednesday” and it will be arriving on Monday. What a joke!
