I’ve been a very happy With Jack customer for almost four years now, since first starting out as a freelancer.
In that time, Ashley has provided a personal and supportive service and has always gone above and beyond to help me out, particularly when dealing with the occasional challenging client.
More recently, I benefited hugely from their ‘Timely’ service. Having spent around four months chasing an overdue payment, With Jack stepped in to help and I was paid, in full, within a month.

Whenever I’ve had to make some claims due to theft, WithJack have been on the ball expediting the process, and following up to make sure it doesn’t slip through the cracks. They ensure the whole thing takes as little headspace on my part as possible.

Today brought the end to a nearly year-long headache, dispute over a copyright issue which was quite ridiculous. Threatened with legal action, ludicrously high demands of payments and extremely slow responses for resolution meant that it took a seemingly endless amount of time to resolve this.

Ashley was absolutely amazing ~ never having been in this situation before I was at a loss with how to handle this, what to do - and what not to do. Such a big fan! I've been with With Jack for a few years but have only had to make a claim for the first time recently. Ashley was so helpful and incredibly responsive. She got my claim through as fast as possible which was really helpful given it was for essential equipment for my business and she was also very lovely in the process. Making an insurance claim has a reputation for being annoying and difficult but that wasn't the case at all here. A real pleasure to work with!

Ashley from With Jack has been fantastic in guiding me through the process of dealing with a non paying client - and while the client themselves hasn't paid the debt, the legal cover I had as part of my policy was able to pay out the £900 I was owed so at least I wasn't out of pocket. I have had to use their services twice since signing up with them - the first time to get advice about an agency that was months behind on a payment, and the second time, when I found out a client had copied work I had done for them without proper compensation.

In both cases, Ashley was incredible - she replied to my emails within a couple of hours.

In the first case she shared practical advice on how to ramp up the pressure on the agency, and after sending one single email, I was paid within 2 weeks.

In the second case, she referred me to a legal helpline and after following their advice, I was offered payment by the client.

In both cases, Ashley followed up the following week to check how the situations had evolved, and if I needed any additional support.

I reached out to With Jack after a client/friend did not pay me to see if I had any relevant cover. Ashley introduced me to a new service they were piloting, in which With Jack chases payment on your behalf, going through a set of steps to gradually escalate and motivate the client to pay.

This was fantastic, in particular, because it removed me from being directly involved in a stressful process. I was kept in the loop but didn't need to worry about how to handle the situation myself.

The result was that, after months of ghosting me, the client paid up, just two weeks after With Jack began the process.

Unreal support from the With Jack team! They helped me retrieve an unpaid invoice that I had totally given up on getting. Within two weeks, I had received payment! Such a fantastic service for all freelancers, highly recommended.

I have recently started freelancing and I was intimidated by all the extra work involved which you don't need to worry about as an employee. I was recommended With Jack and I have never experienced service anything like this!
Every question, no matter how silly is answered in a professional and jargon free way, most amazingly is the speed at which they get answered!

And With Jack it absolutely is! Ashley set everything up smoothly, gave me a good premium, and made everything work with minimal effort. I haven't had to claim (fortunately), but I feel confident that if I ever needed to it would be easy and hassle-free.

If you're a freelancer, buy your insurance from someone who understands freelancers and our struggles with difficult (and often demanding) clients. I wholeheartedly recommend getting insured With Jack!

I've been working as a sole trader since 2010 and found the lack of service and support for freelancers and small businesses when it comes to business insurance always extremely frustrating. So when my current provider sent their annual email about renewing my policy (which was also the only communication I got from them), I started looking for alternatives.

Enter stage left With Jack: From the very beginning it was such a brilliant experience. Their website is easy to navigate and provides all the information I needed and getting a quote was really easy, too. But, more importantly, I got a reply from a human being, giving me tips, explaining the next steps and answering any questions I had, often within the hour!
