Delivery was very quick and it arrived with no damage. The trumpet sounds really good for an amateur to professional player. I really like the case where you have two different ways to carry it and there's enough space to carry books and music scores

Ordered a week ago and haven’t heard anything about a delivery timeline yet.

I purchased a Yamaha DTX6K5-M electronic drum kit from the Wardour Street store on 20 August. Since then, getting clear information on dispatch has been a real struggle.

At the time of order, I was told delivery would be by Friday 21 August. When Friday came and I still had no tracking information, I emailed asking for shipping details and was sent the order confirmation PDF twice instead, information I already had. I was then told tracking would be sent "when released by UPS." I called UPS directly and was told no shipping label had actually been created for this order, so there was nothing for them to release.

I called the shop again and was told the item still hasn't been dispatched, is now expected to go out on the next working day, and won't be delivered until after Tuesday, several days later than originally promised, with no proactive update from their side at any point. I only found this out by repeatedly chasing.

For comparison, I placed an order for double bass pedals with Gear4Music the same day, just a few hours after my Yamaha order, and had tracking and a delivery estimate within hours. My pedals are on their way. My drum kit, paid in full first and promised for Friday, still hasn't even left the warehouse.

Some staff have been helpful, but at times I've felt like less of a priority once the payment was made. I know Yamaha Music London generally has a strong reputation, but the dispatch communication and delivery commitment on this order have been genuinely poor. I'd encourage the team to only commit to delivery dates they can actually meet, and to proactively update customers when something slips rather than leaving them to chase.

The guitar came quickly and well packaged. The courier company sent a delivery notification to me which I presume was about someone else's delivery which caused some confusion but did not affect my actual delivery. Would not hesitate to use Yamaha London again.

Not easy to return if the product not suit you. Really not good customer experience.

Great customer service from the Guitar department at Yamaha. I had a brilliant experience with the Guitar specialist and was very happy with the shop itself, the display and the atmosphere and helpful and staff members. Guitar is not my instrument, but Alex Dengate was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and was able to guide me towards finding the perfect instrument. He has a excellent people and communication skills and was patient and informative. Highly recommended!

I ordered a guitar with amplifier and accessories package and I am very pleased with it. Only disappointment : there is no guitar strap included in the bundle, which is fairly fundamental to enjoying a guitar

I've visited the Yamaha store a few times and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The website is a little basic with no order updates but I did receive my order the day after placing it. Overall very happy with the service.

As I walked into the Yamaha Showroom, I was immediately, pleasantly greeted by Abigail Lee.
Then I was allowed to browse for a few minutes looking at various Keyboards. I had been given strict instructions both by my older son and by my wife, to stick to a budget of £350 and below, in my search for a Keyboard for my seven year old daughter.

Then I approached and asked Abigail for some expert knowledge and assistance and I was dazzled and hugely impressed by Abigail's calm, confident and highly knowledgeable musical expertise and very pleasant manner!

I listened and agreed with her advice and bought a suitably advanced keyboard for £450 plus stand.

Abigail also obliged me by playing (on the same model keyboard) a brilliant piece of piano music which was beautifully played.

I found Abigail to be highly professional and exceptionally skilled at selling Yamaha Pianos!

No headphones display, no headphones to buy, they had only two types. Quite poor customer service.

Highly recommend this business. Postage was fast! I was shocked how quickly a full Yamaha P145BT bundle came. Cheapest price on the market too! Would certainly use this company again.

I liked the competitive price and ease of website for online purchase. Unfortunately the delivery communication is not so good and after a mishap with the warehouse / courier my delivery is delayed. Staff have sent apologies but only after I chased them for updates.
