They do excellent work on getting your Book out

Getting the book in print is a fantastic feeling, particularly when it relates to a real-life adventure with the need to share the story with others. The murder of hundreds of people in Ukraine, including women and children, needs to be shared and published by a company you can trust.

I am grateful for Xlibris not giving up on me. Although years had past from the initial contact, I was surprised when I was recently contacted and encouraged to move forward with the project. I was given ample opportunity to correct all the errors made within the text. However, due to my job assignment, I felt rushed to complete it. Patience is truly a virtue when pursuing a project such as this. I've learned so much from this process since this is my first publication. Next time it will be a better product.

I love Xlibris I published my 2nd book with them and they published my books in a timely manner. If I publish another book again I will definitely be publishing with them. The quality of the books is EVERYTHING!

IHave had 7 previous books published by Xlibris with no problem however the last book was a nightmare?
No personable service, no phone conversations,
It was months trying to finalize and get delivery..

Book Review

The products are great but you have to really sort out all that you are getting and realize that many added costs for Marketing need to be explained upfront so you can understand.

Xlibris has given me a quality product. I am pleased with their work for making my book possible, and for putting it on a world-wide market.

All of the services that you all provided me made my dream come true thank you for everything you made possible from the bottom of my heart and looking forward to working with you again and again

Terrible experience!
Hundreds of terrible reviews so I cancelled within 24 hrs.
If you try to cancel they wont refund anything especially if you send a copy of your book or manuscript.
Beware!!

I have called multiple times concerning the major part of the Advanced Marketing package I purchased .The book store campaign is supposed to help use recompense the money we used to buy this package . We had 207 stores interested in shelving our book ,I still have the letter concerning this ,Not 1 book has been sold off of this and its due to lack of follow up and cooperation from them . I am still in the dark on this and I would not recommend putting out this extra money for a service unfulfilled, which could have been a great thing ,I requested a list of the interested stores and never received it as I was going to follow up ,but couldn't because I had no way to do so !

They did a decent job making my book look the way I wanted. What really pissed me off, however, is that they relentlessly called me for years afterward trying to push their marketing packages on me. This continued even after I expressed I was not interested and told them to remove me from their calling list. To make matters worse, they must have sold my information at some point, because 10 years later I am still getting regularly contacted, only now it's by several different publishing companies trying to push similar marketing packages. I even get scammers posing as major publishers contacting me to attempt to cheat me out of money. These are reprehensible business practices, and even if this company had knocked my book of out of the park I'd still give them 1 star.

They continued to contact me on an occurring basis to sell me marketing packages. Even when I told them I did not have the money, they continued to harass me until I said yes. I put myself in debt to make payments and ran out of money. Xlibris added on extra packages and it seemed as though I would never stop making payments to them. And now, Xlibris are refusing to continue with the services I’ve already paid for in full, and will not cancel the packages I can no longer afford. I have reached out several times over the last two months and received no response. Xlibris just exploit potential authors and run them dry of money just to make an ill-gotten buck. I had already agreed and paid to send them my second book, and only upon their receipt of the manuscript they informed me that I need to have it edited myself and same with the cover design. I was not informed that these services were not included in the package I bought, meaning more money I now have to spend. (My first book had already gone through editing and cover design before sending it to Xlibris). I would not recommend Xlibris to anyone.

I am quite disappointed in the whole process. They are continuously pushing for sales and when I ask what it’s for I didn’t get an answer. Result is that I have a stack of 20 books that are not up to scratch, as the print quality for a photo/picture book is very poor.
Further I paid a lot of money for a marketing service I already have and when I ask for my money back no one is there to help.
I would like to have more transparency in what services are available. And no push sales over the phone.

When looking into publishers to get my book out, Xlibris offered me a great package deal. But what really sealed the deal was the conversation of what I would be getting for my money. I felt comfortable and confident with everything discussed and what I would be getting. They worked quickly, efficiently and made it all happen exactly how I wanted.

I was a little pessimistic in the first days, but later on, I believed that I made the right choice. All Xlibris staff work very cordially, I am very satisfied. I recommend it to everyone. Thanks again, great job.

This was my fourth publication with Xlibris. All my dealings with them have been excellent. Problems, if they occur, are handled efficiently and they have always done more than was expected. I recommend them highly.

Awful publisher. They use high pressure sales methods after the deal is signed. Unresponsive to emails. Over three months and have not received my royalty check. I would not use again.
