I wanted to make a simple zap between…

I wanted to make a simple zap between paypal and mighty networks. It does not work... I have talked to 5 different support members, they all ask me to do the same thing every time. Maybe they have no tracking? And ask me to test live this very same option many times.... So apparently they don't have a test environment where they test the issue before sending the solution to the customer... It has been now almost a week and we are still on a "Try and pray" situation
Update : 11st of January - I have send many e-mails to the support of 'Senior developpers'. None of them seems to be able to help and is simply offended by my suggestions...! I would sumply recommand to use Chat GPT to try to solve your issues yourself before even considering contacting the support. An absolute waste of time. Oh, and if your trial runs out while you are still waiting for their support, you might need to pay to upgrade to finish the set-up they were never trying to help you solve

DO NOT USE

there is absolutely NO customer support. They only provide an option to HIRE someone to help you.. as if paying for automations and integations that don't work wasn't enough. They say you can connect your email to send emails automatically, but then once you run it they only can send 10 an hour so you need to set delays for it to work... and can't run further integrations bc you only have a 10 email/hr limit. Trying to contact support, they only respond to a few emails before ghosting you and they only reply with help articles and links to shit irrelevant to what you are asking

daylight robbery

My experience has been that it was great using the free version. Easy to implement, great to use.
Then we decided to move onto the paid version and make that part of our IT structure, and that was a big mistake.
Their monthly fee is the tip of the iceberg. They charge you per task!!! That is per every record that the zap creates or updates or anything that it does. That goes up very quickly. And the smallest programming error, including during testing may generate thousands of tasks which will cost you real money!
I decided to downgrade and move away from it. In my opinion, it is a daylight robbery. Their system does work well, but the pricing structure is a trap. It is designed so that you spend real time, energy and money in integration, and then, once you are stuck, then they own you and they will milk you.

this company is an outright scam! they charged me 259$ without my consent and refuse to refund it saying "all sales are final." To bad i didn't agree to any sales. Do not do not do not give them your card info as they will keep charging you with no alert or consent.

"Free Trial" is highly questionable marketing

Signed up for a chatbot under the free plan which puts you into a "free trial" of the premium features. The plan states that you can have up to two chatbots for free and the trial gives you access to all features for 30 days. It is really not clear at all what parts are free and what parts are premium since its all available and unmarked as part of the trial. However, at the end of the trial, the chatbot completely locks. No access to edit configuration or settings and, most importantly, the prompt you've created during that period is now not accessible either unless you pay! Awful experience and really poor business practices. The support is non-existent. There are much better alternatives to this company in the market now, definitely steer clear of this one.

I was unknowingly charged an ongoing…

I was unknowingly charged an ongoing monthly fee after cancelling a free trial. I did not use the service at all and had no email reminders about the ongoing payments. Zapier informed me that their policy does not allow for refunds of any type.

They need to change their attitude if they want to keep customers or have customers return to them.

I work for an agency and have used them on multiple accounts over the years, but they really aren't the only market leaders in what they do anymore and I will certainly not be using them going forward.

Their customer service is awful and they just want money. This review isn't based on refunds, but their refund policy is a disgrace too.

All round terrible company. Avoid and research competitors instead.

Scammers

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with Zapier. Despite not using their services for months, they charged my credit card for an entire year without proper notification. When I reached out to request a refund, I was told that they had sent an email about the renewal. However, I never received this email—and I even provided evidence that it was missing from my inbox.

Zapier refused to issue a refund, even though I haven’t used their platform in ages and wasn’t aware of the renewal. Their rigid refund policy shows a complete lack of flexibility and customer care. To make matters worse, their response felt dismissive, with no real attempt to resolve the issue or make things right.

This kind of behavior is unacceptable for a company that relies on trust and long-term customer relationships. I will not be recommending Zapier to anyone and will make sure to warn others about their lack of transparency and poor customer service.

Zapier are scumbags

Really bad company.
I had paid two years in a row, and forgot when my renewal was.
Money came out of my business account, and I asked within minutes if they could refund as I no longer need their services. They have refused.
Under The Consumer Rights act of 2015 in the UK, I told them that they have to provide a refund.
They said after reviewing my account, they deemed that I was not eligible for a refund, even though their refunds policy states that they will refund if the local law warrants it.

Terrible Company

Terrible Company. I cancelled my subscription and went to the $0 plan almost 2 months before the end of my plan.
They then proceeded to charge me for a whole year when the cycle ended. I advised them right away on the same day and they are not returning my money after they took the funds without being approved to.

Sales doesn't respond to emails.

So to all of the entrepreneurs out there who are completely ASLEEP and don't know what's going on because you are only concentrating on business, WAKE UP. They are going to bring your business down just like EVERYONE ELSE'S.

If they are a big company or even large medium, chances are Bla.ckR.ock owns them or has shares.

Anyway, I've been with Zapier for years but on their free plan.

While their support has never been superb, they always wrote back.

That was before the war started in March 2020, of course.

Now with them destroying of the world's ECONOMY as I've already noticed most companies have terrible customer service now, their products have plummeted, etc. No way this is a coincidence.

They will be shutting down all businesses unless THEY own them, although I'm sure they will shut down several of their own too because they will buy you out and THEN shut it down, they are doing this all over.

With Zapier, I needed to know if they had an autoresponder list because they came up in my search.

I wrote Zapier twice, and NO response and that was sales where with most companies, they jump on it to MAKE MONEY!

Woeful customer service. Try n8n instead. Kept my money when I deserved a refund.

My experience was so similar to the other bad reviews on here! I needed a feature, spoke to their human support and was told I need to upgrade, which I did, only to find that feature required a different setup for me to benefit from. So it wasn't accessible for me basically. Fine, ask for a refund to go back to normal plan. Refused! They said their refund policy is they never give refunds! Even when the upgrade was chosen due to misleading communications on their part. And that the matter was absolute, there would be no further discussion on the matter and then they shut the chat on me!!! I've never had such bad service like that before. I am really looking forward to using n8n now.

If i could leave 0 stars I would. They didn’t tell me about a renewal and took £460 and won’t refund it even though I’m not using their services. I tried to get a refund and they were rude and dismissive. Avoid like the plague!!!
