Slow to refund

Ordered online and returned the items due to the poor quality. Paid via PayPal and they received the items back on 6/12, the refund is still pending because according to PayPal they sent the refund via e cheque which slows down the time the refund is received. Not sure why companies think it’s acceptable to delay refunds. I wouldn’t order from them again because of this.

So slow!

I was sceptical about using this service but have used it 3 times now and it’s pretty easy to use. Update : Changed from 5 to 3 stars as posted on 5th and only picked up by the courier on 10th! Very slow.
Another update! Changed to 1 star! The recipient has been advised they will receive their parcel anytime between now and 2nd Jan! For a package posted on 5th! Wont use again after this.

Received my order and had clearly had…

Received my order and had clearly had no care taken over it and as the boxes were squashed and the contents leaked out. No response on Twitter, tried live chat and apparently I am blocked, even though I’ve never used it before! Not sure what’s happening with Pets at Home but I’m definitely looking for a better company to spend my money with for my pets food etc!

Refer your friends offer doesn’t exist

They have a ‘refer your friends’ link for you to send with a money offer to split between you and the person you refer but they don’t actually offer this scheme. It is being advertised fraudulently.

To the response: I’m fully aware it is not available , my issue is that you still advertise that it is! I’ve checked again this morning and it is still showing the scheme!

Sent me a bill 18 months after already paying my final bill!

Sent me a bill after not even being a customer of there’s for over 18 months. Already paid my final bill in 2021 so won’t be paying this!

Thank you for your reply. I have replied to the email you sent me disputing the bill and I do need everything in writing rather than doing this over the phone.

Saying not covered. Rip off company!

My roof is leaking and caused damage inside my property. Been told I’m not covered so sort it out myself! What’s the point in having buildings and contents insurance if neither things are covered! Rip off!

The rudest customer service!

The most blatantly rude customer service I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with! They don’t even go the passive aggressive route and pretend they are being nice , they’re just downright rude and offensive!
Why has ordering things online become such hard work!?

Sent me a faulty item and not refunded the full amount

Sent me an item that had an obvious flaw in it. I had to return it, wasting my time and fuel costs to drive to the post office for them to only refund the faulty top and not the delivery charge! I am now out of pocket through no fault of my own and don’t even have the item! The flaw was very obvious and shouldn’t have even passed quality control!

Terrible company!

Received a notification that my parcel was going to be delivered to then receive another 20 minutes later advising I wouldn’t be getting the delivery and would be updated the next working day. I didn’t receive any update the next day and it is impossible to speak to someone. When the parcel was eventually delivered it was made very clear that they take no care of the parcels whatsoever as it was very damaged.

Awful customer service, rude and condescending

Placed an order and advise 3-5 days delivery. After a week of not hearing anything I contacted them via live chat and was informed that the item was back in stock, I had never been advised it wasn’t in stock, and I would receive notification when it was dispatched. Unfortunately they use Evri for delivery and I received notification of a delivery time only to have that cancelled 20 mins later. I didn’t hear anything else for Evri regarding an update so contacted Lakeland again and this time got someone who was very rude and told me he was sorry that I didn’t see it was out of stock when I ordered it. I advised him had it been out of stock I wouldn’t have been able to order it at all! I eventually received the item , 2 weeks after the date I ordered and was advised by customer services that because I had received poor service they would issue me a gift card. I responded to the email regarding the gift card on 16/9 and didn’t receive a response or the gift card so contacted them again on 23/9 only to be ignored yet again! This was my first order with Lakeland and will definitely now be my last.
I’m response to the reply below. The confirmation said 3-5 days, nowhere did it say it was on back order. I am capable of reading if something is on back order and understanding email confirmations so once again this response is rude and condescending! I actually spoke to someone on the phone who confirmed I would not have been able to place the order if it was out of stock. You only have to go to your website to see that it literally says ‘currently not available’ with the option to ‘email me’ and it can’t be ordered!

The website does allow you to order an item that is out of stock as it will backorder it for you. It shows this on the product and basket page but I'm sorry if this wasn't clear. I'm also sorry that you haven't yet received a reply to your email regarding the voucher. We are very busy with emails at the moment but I've been able to find yours and can confirm the voucher can be used in store as well as online so I'll get this posted to you this week. Thanks Joanne
