Customer service is amazing! I ordered a desk chair in November which when arrived did not rise enough for me for my desk. At no extra cost they sent a new gas post to be fitted and then arranged for an engineer to fit it. Alas the post sent out was the same as the first. This did not phase them.. they just sent out another one and arranged for the engineer to fit again. Due to the height and regulations, they also needed to fit a foot bar. They provided the new post, the footrest and the engineer at no further cost to me. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The chair was very inexpensive so i feel i got more than my value for money. It is now absolutely perfect.. a great chair.. great support and the right height! THANK YOU :)

I bought an excellent office chair about 5 years ago from 2ndhnd. I had damaged the armrest and they were very helpful. The chair was no longer in stock so they took in the armrest, did an excellent repair and returned the rests. The price charged was reasonable. Very friendly and helpful customer service.

I see you're claiming only to use opt in e-mails, but that's clearly not the case since you were also e-mailing me at multiple addresses - none of which opted in.

Had a technical problem with a purchase from 2ndhnd.com but had a fantastic service experience with a very fast and friendly rectification of the issue. Very impressed indeed.

I was wary when I read the reviews so I took the delivery date and time with a pinch of salt but the emails told me my tolix chair would be delivered between 7-9am this morning and I woke at 7 to a text from 6.30am to say the chair was concealed in the driveway. I ordered the chair a week ago and it's in excellent condition. I would definitely use 2ndhand again.

Post-sales communication is nonexistent, and I've been entirely ignored on three different attempts for 3 weeks after a chair I ordered arrived with significantly more damage, wear and tear than I would expect.

Very disappointed because I was concerned that a second hand chair would come quite damaged, and it seems I was right, and despite the discount I would likely have been happier spending my £600 on something new instead.

From the outset, customer service was fantastic. Friendly, real people throughout. My chair has been great, hundreds of pounds worth of chair for relatively little cost. A real bargain. Just over a year of daily use (and kids playing on it a lot), it developed a small fault and 2ndhnd.com immediately sent someone out to sort it out. That's old-fashioned good customer service. Very happy customer and I have been recommending them to my friends.

Great service from you guys and especially from Steve the delivery chap. He gave us notice he would be arriving, arrived promptly and in the time window, was super-friendly and made it seem like he actually wanted to deliver stuff, and then helped me carry six heavy chairs up 5 flights. Impressive, and I wish all other drivers were like that. Chairs are great, look and feel great, though a couple have a stiff castor here and there, but I will get in touch if I can't free them up. Thanks - great company and I will recommend.

I bought an Aeron chair in 2019. The delivery was a bit slow (I had to send a reminder after 2 weeks, after which it was quickly sorted out), the item was perfectly fine.

I've had an issue with the lumbar support breaking just outside the warranty period (12 months). I bought another one, but I received a slightly damaged item. Their CS quickly sent me a substitute, allowing me to keep the previous item.

The substitute broke after 11 months - I made a warranty claim and the CS replied after 3 minutes from when I sent my email, informing they'd send me *two* replacements.

2 days later I received both items. I was really impressed by how quickly they reacted to my request. It was a bumpy road but their attitude to customer service is deserving of 5 stars.

I have bought three items from 2ndhnd.
The process was very easy and fast.
Two of the items I loved but didn't work in our house. 2ndhnd had told me that any problems or if we just didn't like them, they would simply come and collect at no extra charge and refund. They were completely true to their word and were very easy to work with, even though they were very big heavy items that look lots of effort to move.
Very happy to recommend as I think they do a great job.

I was a bit dubious about ordering from here having read some bad reviews, but they had a great selection of draughtsman chairs. Aside from minor wheel wear, the Hon Lota I ordered is like new, I'm really pleased with it.

One star removed because the delivery system is annoying - I didn't realise I only had a "provisional" booking until it was postponed by a week the day before it was due. I'd prefer to know I'm waiting longer for a confirmed date. I did email to complain, and the response was quick. I got it in about 2.5 weeks, so all good really

For a second hand chair I was surprised how amazing it looks

Ordered 2 items desk and chair, took 7 weeks to arrive. both arrived extremely dirty with mud and mutiple scratches across the furniture. Chair does not function properly been offered a replacement part which god knows how long will take to come.

To confirm chair was not replaced , the gas cannister was. Still unhappy after spending Close to 500 quid for desk and chair , can't be bothered to deal with company anymore.

Last update incase anyone was wondering no they didn't follow up to the edit below, they also attempted to have this review removed as fake...

Without doubt one of the best online buying experiences I have ever had. Quite outstanding customer service: incredibly prompt, knowledgeable, helpful gave most useful guidance. The chair arrived so fast that I suspect time travel must have been involved. So far the chair seems perfect and the customer service has continued to be outstanding with contact to make sure that all is well, and to offer any guidance should I need it with the new chair. I don't want to sound corny, but honestly this is the sort of shopping experience that helps to make life run more smoothly.
