v20 läuft immer noch mehr schlecht als recht. Die Firma 3CX ist mittlerweile sehr arrogant geworden, dazu kommen die horrenden Preiserhöhungen. Dadurch sind wir jetzt bei Yeastar Partner und sind da auch zufriedener. Vielen Dank an 3CX. Freundliche Grüße von itFreund GbR

Absolutely the worst customer service

Absolutely the worst customer service, I recommend you try a different platform, these people at 3cx will only give you headaches. They absolutely do not care about customers, you are just a number for them and they only want your money. When you have issue, they will absolutely refuse to deal with your problem. Stay away!

Herein, a factual detail of events without slander or expressing personal view. However, we finish with a recommendation should any potential reseller consider a partnership relationship with 3CX.

We signed up as a reseller with 3CX on 19th October 2021. We were enormously impressed with the features, facilities and price. Over the last four years, we have invested heavily into the product, focussing our attentions on the SMB market. Understandably, as costs to deliver, develop and maintain the platform, 3CX have increased their prices. Without exception, price increases over the years have exceeded inflation by some margin.

This year we came to renew a customer licence and was presented with a significant cost increase (18% above inflation CPI). We expressed concern to 3CX UK at this price increase - asking how we can justify the increase to our customers. As a direct result of writing the email expressing our concern, 3CX cancelled our partnership. The net result of this action has increased our cost of sale by 36.8%

We see other postings on Trustpilot delivering indisputable evidence, testifying to the fact 3CX are eliminating SMBs from their customer portfolio.

The 3CX partnership business model attracts resellers into a discount relationship resulting in an attractive, competitive arrangement to secure end users into the 3CX domain. Once a period of saturation (no new customer licences in a year), 3CX cancels the partnership giving them instant profit. It is enormously challenging to change a telephone system once set up, commissioned and implemented live - and they know it!

We finish with our recommendation. Should you consider becoming a 3CX partner, please be aware the company is at liberty to cancel their customer partnerships without reason in accordance with their T&Cs. Please proceed with your eyes wide open.

How could you rate 3CX below 4/5 stars?

While you can always have improvement, I can assure you the platform is stable, flexible and easy to configure. Having written custom PBX's using Asterisk/FreeSWITCH for many years, 3CX is a plug, play and go platform.

If you're a solution provider you'll love 3CX. Simple to deploy, support is responsive and the admin UI is absurdly easy to use.

Kein Tag ohne technische Probleme

Kein einziger Tag seit Installation von 3 CX vor 5 Monaten ohne technischen Problemen.

Wir haben viel Zeit, Geld und Energie in die 3CX Telefonanlage investiert - leider wurden wir sehr enttäuscht. Ein Wechsel zu einem anderen Anbieter ist unumgänglich. Die massive Preiserhöhung ist absolut nicht gerechtfertigt, angesichts des schwachen Performance.

Seitens von 3CX war die Unterstützung unzureichend.

Von TOP zu FLOP
Wurde mit jeder Generation und mit jedem Jahr immer schlimmer. Erst von lebenslanger Lizenz zu jährlichen Abo gezwungen, in einem Jahr die Preise 2mal erhöht (+90%) und nun die Lizenzen von 4 auf 8 Sprachkanäle erhöht. Inzwischen leider sehr enttäuscht von 3CX.

Es gibt keine Softwareanbieter mehr, welche lebenslange Lizenzen anbieten. Das ist heutzutage völlig normal und die Weiterentwicklung muss finanziert werden. Da sind jährliche Abos fair für beide Seiten. Sie haben immer noch ein starkes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und eine Free Edition (https://www.3cx.de/smb/) . Sie sollten sich jedoch in unserem Blog auf dem Laufenden halten. Unser CEO hat genau skizziert (https://www.3cx.de/blog/2025-strategie/), welchen Weg 3CX einschlagen wird. Günstiger als kostenlos geht nicht. Daher können wir Ihren Frust nicht nachvollziehen.

Stay away from 3cx!
They behave really badly when you point out problems with their product, even ban partners and deny them their rightfully earned provisions.

Many bugs and self-inflicted problems in the v20 version. High maintenance, high costs!

There even is a whole website dedicated to this toxic behaviour by their staff. You can easily find it on google or in the 3cx subreddit and you will find even more reports of toxic behaviour, banned customers and cost-driving issues.

There are many better alternatives out there!

Edit 14.03.: just had an amazingly positive Meeting with a competitor, who told me they even support to restore 3cx backups now, because so many 3cx partners are migrating away from 3cx in the last months. All reporting similar problems.
You can easily find that by searching on the Internet.

Leider auch nach langer Einrichtungsphase keine sichere Erreichbartkeit möglich. - Kundenservice wimmelt einen ab und schiebt die Verantwortung von sich.

Unannounced price increases and messaging without people consent

I share the same views as a previous poster. Not only did they increase the price without any prior notice and done it multiple times in a relatively short timeframe, they also are messaging partners clients directly promoting their products without the clients ever consenting. In addition to that, V20 removed some features which V18 had and they refuse to acknowledge it. 3cx partners should begin to look elswhere since 3cx seems to go the atlassian way...

3CX is now dead to Partners & end user. no more margin, more than 100% price increased on 6th February..

Recently on 6th February, 3CX have massively increase price for 4SC on premise/self cloud license from 160USD to 350USD without notice. and killing SME. the Free version does not even support 1 Generic SIP trunk, we are obliged to use only SIP companies they have been partnered. They are banning all customers, partners who is expression their disappointment about such major changes suddenly. and they are even deleting the truth on their blog, forum and facebook page. they are even contacting your customers to propose them to deal directly with 3cx.. these customer is from partners not 3cx. they are even sending private mail to customers saying " if you are unhappy with your provider, we can help or contact us.. " and partners will not have reward, point on their level for every license of 4SC. that price change is massive.. more than 100% ! 3CX said they no longer focus on some.. small license.. they forgot that today they are here because of all these SME, small license and thousands of partners who bring customers to 3CX, without partners contribution 3CX are nothing. ow 3CX represents a danger for any business who want to sell 3CX or even for end users in terms of pricing.

The product works well and is easy to deploy into our cloud environment. Lot's of documentation that covers pretty much everything I've needed thus far.

Definitely room for improvement but has met the needs of all my clients thus far.

Excellent phone system with fantastic support

3CX has been our phone system since 2021 and has been rock solid and easy to use. Support has been fantastic as well. I needed support recently for an issue (my own fault, due to not reading documentation) and 3CX support resolved it in a matter of minutes.

Tried to upgrade to V20

Tried to upgrade to V20, not working. Found out I did not move from old hosting to digital ocean. Finally got that migrated. Then was locked out. All working fine now, thanks to all the help from 3CX support. Thanks again for all your help.
