3CX by far exceeds my needs
As a solo and owner of 101SkinBody.com in Houston-TX. I was so frustrated when I was looking for an online chat to add to my website. EVERY SINGLE ONE I found was expensive for my budget. After reviewing over 25+ "FREE" to use which by free had nothing. 3CX by far exceeds my needs.
After the 25+ online chats, NONE(ZERO) of those was 3CX. I am not sure what's up with that!
I found 3CX by Youtubing another "open-source" online chat and luck me, 3CX pop up in the organic list with 1(ONE) video of this guy explaining "How to get online chat on your website for free"
I have the whole thing up and running in less than 15 minutes - and to my surprise, I can even get phone calls.
I see some reviews here that I don't see to be authentic. Whatever how you decide to use it - the UI is super intuitive. You just need to read with attention and follow the direction (If you don't have computer knowledge enough- call a friend that does before complaining it does not work)
After having the whole thing set up in 15 minutes, I jump into their online chat support to thank the free service for small businesses. In a matter of 1-2 minutes, someone show up asking me if I had a question - it can be better than that!
Anyway, this review start getting too long, but I couldn't be quiet about this great platform. You can't go wrong.

Bad connectivity and very poor sound quality (3CX Hosted Startup Pro, 3CX App)
I cannot recommend 3CX hosted cloud subscriptions, because BASICS do not work! See the other ratings at Google Play Store for the 3CX app. The app is very silent, you have to talk all the time VERY LOUD, 175% is set already! Then everyone of our team gets PERMANENTLY displayed this BAD CONNECTIVITY banner in the app. We all have small interrupts and the callers report many times a bad phone quality. Even outside of any company network (fiberglass) with mobile connection 4G or 5G and high speed internet test results it stays the same. Then we tested with different smartphones and all employees report this poor performance in any network! 3CX Startup Pro is used and maybe they want you to buy a higher subscription so that you get a better performance? We will quit and take something else!

Superb customer service
I have been using 3cx since version 3 and the service I just received within a couple minutes of having an issues was superb. I find the configurability of the phone system to be top notch and call routing, ease of phone connectivity, dect devices, and all around connectivity and communication options to be way beyond other offerings. The price point is a 1/10th of other options as well.

Excellent, professional service. Fast customer service, quality service. Tested the self hosted service when it was free a few years ago and it was interesting. This time Im trying the free tier for less than 10 users, Integration to Wordpress is a breeze for communication and I look forward to testing the service further, its great to be able to get them on chat to sort out problems.

Effective Online Agent Support
The online help via chat is good and the ability to call an agent or convert/combine the chat into a voice call is even more helpful. The agents seem very knowledgeable and can offer guidance and help to get things setup or make system configuration changes. I have only had to use the help a couple of times but have found this facility very helpful.

Leider wurden wir enttäuscht!
4 Monate lang war das Telefonieprogramm 3CX in unserem Unternehmen installiert, mit dem Ziel die Telefonie zu vereinfachen. Leider war das Gegenteil der Fall. In diesen 4 Monaten war es nicht eine Woche durchgehend möglich, fehlerfrei zu telefonieren!
Folgende Probleme sind abwechselnd aufgetreten:
- Es konnte nicht weiterverbunden werden
- Kunden konnten uns nicht hören
- Wir konnten die Kunden nicht hören
- Das Gespräch wurde angenommen und war sofort weg
- Der Kunde kam nicht zu uns durch
- Es konnte nicht ins Ausland telefoniert werden
- Die Mobilbox ging ran, ohne dass dies eingestellt war
Weder unsere IT Betreuung noch 3CX selbst konnte das Problem beheben. Es wurde sehr viel Energie und Geld in die Einrichtung sowie Problembehebung investiert - jedoch erfolglos. Besonders erwähnen möchten wir hier, dass der Kundenservice von 3CX sehr zu wünschen übrigließ. Ein Anruf bei uns in der Firma zur Problembesprechung wurde verweigert - es würde nicht mit Endkunden kommuniziert werden, lediglich mit der IT Betreuung.
Wir hatten große Erwartungen an 3CX, denn an sich wäre es ein tolles Modul mit vielen Möglichkeiten, wenn es denn einwandfrei funktionieren würde.
Schlussendlich haben wir uns dazu entschieden, das Programm zu deinstallieren.

3CX ... we are sad
unfortunately I have to say that 3cx is slowly becoming an absolute disaster.
Very strange decisions are made that no customer understands and there are no explanations.
Example:
-The administrators can recently make several settings only through the management console and some settings only through the web client. Everything through the console no longer works.
-Some headset integrations are temporarily removed, with the note: not our problem.
-Guys ... my Nokia 3390 supports different ringtones ... 3CX Desktop client supports only one.
-Only one number per contact is passed to connected phones, and that is the mobile number ... crazy .
There are many examples of this.
It usually takes a very long time to revert strange changes. The partners and the community also have to exert extreme pressure first.
On Reddit there is now a thread where alternatives to 3CX are collected. The partners are also slowly becoming more dissatisfied
@ 3CX, start developing your software together with customers and partners and fire the current decision makers. The PBX has potential.

Franchement pas dégueu du coup, je trouve simplement pas logique que nous ne pouvons pas mettre de musique personnalisée pour les appels téléphoniques dans l'offre à 5€ de Brocloud.
