Court Case Update regarding - Appalling lack of refund and shameful customer care

(Please scroll down reviews to see my original seperate review expressing my Opinion on Trustpilot re Alexandra Miro and how I have been treat- Heather Braham)

Having bought and returned an expensive but poor quality dress that did not fit I was met with utter contempt and refusal to refund my money.

I had tried on the dress in my immaculately clean and tidy dressing room of my new home and sent it back well within the 14 day period. It was returned as received and I did not mark stain or damage it in anyway and it had all the tags in place.
Having had the dress in their possession 15 days and following many requests to refund my money, at the point of raising a complaint they asserted that the dress had a mark on it. In my opinion due to being 100% certain this DID NOT happen in my possession I formed the honestly held belief that it could have only happened in Alexandra Miro possession as they did not claim it was damaged in transit.
Following my HONEST OPINION and ACCURATE original post on Trustpilot below, they subsequently threatened me with Court action if I did not remove it. As it DOES NOT CONTAIN ANY FALSE STATEMENTS and it is the absolute truth I refuse to be bullied into removing the truth and exercise my democratic rights to free speech as it’s the TRUTH and my HONEST OPINION.
When I advised that I would be taking Court action the response to my post appeared from Alexandra Miro who did not resolve this issue or act fairly as they suggested in their post.
Instead the matter went to Court via Video Link on Weds 21/2/24. The facts and opinions of the case were presented to an independent Judge by myself and the Head of Operations from Alexandra Miro. It was only at this point that Alexandra Miro themselves conceded and provided me a full refund of my monies which in my opinion they should have done within 14 days of my having returned them their totally unsuitable dress.
Its scandalous that they are allowed to do this to so many people as highlighted by the negative reviews on Trustpilot regarding refunds. In fact I presented these as evidence that I am not an isolated case or a serial complainer as this is the FIRST time I have had to defend my rights in this manner and I would urge you to exercise your rights so long as you are HONEST & ACCURATE and stay clear of any FALSE STATEMENTS or LIES.
Needless to say I shall NEVER use ALEXANDRA MIRO who have been disgraceful in their lack of after care and administration of consumer rights.
Know your rights and exercise them or we all lose them to companies who do not honour them.
Citizens Advice Bureau provided the online link to the small claims Court and the process is a simple one with relatively small cost. But beyond money the moral and ethical challenge against such appalling lack of customer care and adherence to Consumer Rights is the most important issue worth fighting for.

I order online from Sweden in the afternoon and next day everything was delivered. Wow!

I could’t be more happy. I love all my clothes. Well made, lovely feminin design and very good quality.

I will for sure shop more! Love the brand!

I absolutely adore this brand

I absolutely adore this brand. The quality, the fit and the designs are out of this world, but more than that the customer service is the best i've ever experienced. I somehow managed to lose a strap to one of my swimsuits, months after first purchase, and Ariel in customer service not only managed to find me a spare strap, she posted it to me free of charge. Absolute angel! You have a lifetime customer in me. So grateful :)

Dress bled into white spots and I was gutted HOWEVER Ariel saved the day and is a real gem. She couldn't have been more helpful and is an asset to their team.

Not worth it. 2.5 weeks since Mia disappeared, have the closed?

I contacted customer service the same day I received my order. Mia replied quite promptly which was nice. Once I explained the issue, she gave a completely unrelated solution, so I explained again including a drawing this time to facilitate. She disappeared. I have followed up multiple times in the past two weeks and no one bothers. I’m so incredibly disappointed. I was about to order two more full outfits but clearly this brand is not worthy. I’ll be happy to update this review if anything changes. For now, the post-sale service is the same here than buying at any uber-cheap Chinese website where the chances of getting what you order right and/or finding anyone to help you at the other end are basically none existing.

This company is a total con and scam stay clear at all cost !

I ordered a dress and tried it on in my clean and tidy dressing room. As it did not fit I returned it in perfect condition with tags labels and not a mark or any defect. Having sent it recorded delivery I was chasing my refund for over two weeks after they had received it. No refund has ever been forthcoming. I advised a formal complaint and contact with the ombudsman was to be made at which point they then sent a photo of the dress with a black mark which they either deliberately put on it or happened in their warehouse. They then blamed me for this and used it as an excuse not to refund me. Needless to say this is the worst customer service I have ever encountered and this company should be listed in rogue traders. I am in the process of securing the assistance of the Government Ombudsman and checking my insurance for legal cover to pursue them in the small claims court. Beyond the money this is unacceptable and nothing short of theft. They are a con and total scam.
I strongly recommend you not to go anywhere near this shameful business called Alexandramiro.com

Terrible, Cheap Quality

First of all, the box that the dress in came completely mangled due to choosing to use a low quality box. Second and more importantly, the dress is so extremely cheap and poorly made that I am appalled. The dress is one thin layer of fabric with zero lining and you can visibly see the uneven stitchwork from the outside of the dress. Walmart sells products that are higher quality than this.

I absolutely love it

I absolutely love it! I bought the Eva swimsuit and it looks amazing on. Also the quality is very good and I often use it even to go out and always gets lots of compliments! I had no problem finding my size and it arrived quite fast.

I’m looking forward to see future collections and I’m definitely planning on buying other items cause they look great!

If I could rate this brand 6 stars then I would.
I direct messaged them on instagram as I was unsure on sizing, they were so friendly, knowledgable and helpful. I placed my order and received my swimsuit the next day which was a lovely surprise, much faster than I expected.
The swimsuit itself is such nice quality, so flattering and feels amazing on, I can’t wait to wear this on my holiday to Provence next month! I messaged my friends to tell them order something,

Great and friendly service

I love Alexandra Miro garments and now have a few items which are excellent quality. I contacted customer services recently as I needed a replacement belt for one of my swimming costumes which I’d had for a while. Gloria was super helpful and very kind in sending me a replacement immediately at no cost. Fantastic service and I was very grateful since she had no obligation to do so.

Further to my initial trust pilot review - I’m really pleased to see that the team at Alexandra Miro have got time to publicly respond to my trust pilot review but seem to have no interest in responding to my emails about my faulty swimwear. A response asking me to email customer service with my issue is infuriating given that I’ve emailed numerous times and it’s quite obvious from my trust pilot review that I’ve been tirelessly trying to make contact with A Miro. This continues to be a huge disappointment.
