Poor / No communication from there side. what was shown as a 1-3 day lead time stock. but now taking 4 weeks to get to me. Only given an option when we chased but all more costly and no discount for an alternative.

I am very sorry to read this review this morning. I would firstly like to apologise for the lack of communication i will speak with the team internally to find out what happened here. Looking at your order the item you ordered should have been an item we could get to you quite quickly however as we had ran out of stock we went to the next quickest alternative (directly from the manufacturer) however it would appear that they too had ran out of stock and there were subsequent delays in their restock also.
This is a very rare situation and can only apologise as you should have been contacted to advise of any delays expected as quickly as possible.

Salamander pump review
Item arrived well packaged and on the expected day. New flexible connectors were included. The plumber used these as part of replacing the existing pump. Soon after he left one of the flexible hose valves blue off flooding parts of the house. The plumber returned and replaced the new hoses with the old ones. Avoid using the new design flexible hoses with square plastic handles to turn the valves as they can fail.

What you order may not be in stock even if stated
I have ordered different pumps from Anchor Pumps two times in the last years and I bumped into temporary out of stock both times promising a delivery in month. It's unexpected compared to their website which clearly communicated the pump that I ordered is in stock.
I mean that I can't trust them anymore.

I can only see one order from you back in September 2025 which was for an item which does not show on our website as guaranteed stock (if stock is available it is indicated by a "guaranteed stock" icon on the item page below the countdown clock). If there is a lead time you are contacted and advised of a lead time. I see you cancelled this order and was refunded in full.
I apologise for any inconvenience caused during this time.
