Incredibly quick support provided today. I submitted an ANIMA request at 6am this morning, received a couple of kind and understanding messages from Dr Andrews, and was able to pick up my prescription this afternoon. Wow! What fantastic GP practice.

Easy to use always had reply and response quickly and efficiently

Instead of making a simple phone call at 8am and talking to a human, you have to get up at 7.30am and spend 20 minutes typing into a computer, answering a stream of multiple choice questions that may or may not apply. If you need to go back a stage it loses the bit you just spent an age carefully typing. There's not enough room to type where you need to, and too much where you don't. Then you can relax until the reply comes back because it might have an offer of an appointment and you have to grab it quickly. What used to take a few minutes can now take hours.

I was once faced with two possible answers. One led to basically 'You're fine'; the other options said 'Go to A&E'. Ridiculous!

Before Anima you could usually see a GP or NP the same day. With Anima, it can take two weeks. And valuable GPs now spend time playing computers when they could be seeing patients. Leave the appointments to a person with an appointment book. It really can be that easy. Everybody hates Anima; god help us if the internet is ever down.

Apart from this handicap, all the staff are good and do well. We need more people like these, not more 'tech'.

When I first heard about the Anima app I was somewhat sceptical but having had occassion to use it a few times, it has proved my initial scepticism completely wrong.

I am suitably impressed with the very quick turn around time from my initial enquiry to receiving a call back (usually under 2 hours) offering an appointment with a qualified health professional, often a same day appointment or if not, a short window which has been acceptable and still very quickly.
So far, so good and I give the system 10/10!

Worked ok to get the reply from the surgery after speaking to them by landline, once I knew it was a reply by email not by landline. Good response time. Another time I will know to check the emails.
Not sure yet how this would cope with very complex conditions.

Great, no more waiting on the telephone endlessly to get a callback. You get to upload evidence as well of your condition. Very straightforward and I got a very prompt reply and an offer of an appointment

High blood pressure done this silly register online on anima and 5 months later still waiting for GP to get back to me . This is ridiculous.

The surgery staff are very supportive, fast reaction, reaching out to patients promptly.
