We dealt with Elliot who arranged the collection and return of our vehicle - Elliot was helpful, professional and a really great person to deal with - all the timelines were adhered to and the car appears to be working really well so thank you to your team and especially to Elliot for his help. All this was achieved within 1 week 1/12/25 - 5/12/25

After a 500 mile round trip with no issues I reversed onto my driveway and felt the car shudder. I’ve had to replace the clutch before on my powershift gearbox so I knew the symptoms. I booked in with ASR gearbox as they came highly recommended. Jay was very helpful, and despite a few days delay in starting the repairs due to their pressure of work, the gearbox was refurbished after it was analysed and found to be needing extensive repair. The work was carried out by experienced technicians and I’m very happy with the service ASR Gearboxes provided Including follow up calls.

ASR's customer service is exceptional. A both professional and friendly company with a transparency that has been very much appreciated throughout the process of having major repairs carried out on my vehicle. Being without a car whilst work is being carried out can be very stressful but having the same, consistent person keeping in clear and regular communication with me throughout and providing detail, honesty and clarity has given much assurance. The repair on my gearbox was carried out to a high standard, in a time frame that didn't compromise on quality. I am thankful that my vehicle was in expert hands and feel the long warranty gives an added sense of assurance. I would absolutely recommend the team at ASR for a informative and stress free repair.

5 stars aren’t enough for ASR Gearbox Repairs! We had a long-standing gearbox problem due to a faulty mechatronic unit, and after the issue resurfaced months later, we reached out to ASR. They arranged next-day collection, completed diagnostics, and replaced the unit quickly and professionally.

A special thank you to James, who went above and beyond. With my difficult work hours and a payment issue on my end, he was incredibly patient and made sure our car didn’t end up in storage. His communication was clear, helpful, and genuinely reassuring. He and the whole technical team are fantastic.

Thanks again for getting us back on the road. I hope we don’t have to visit again anytime soon but if we ever run into another issue, ASR will definitely be the place we go.

Jay was brilliant throughout the whole process explaining all the technical issues in plain language I could understand. The free pick up and delivery service is a lifesaver and the costs vs going to the Skoda garage were much cheaper and still get a 12 month warranty

Elliot was fantastic over the phone, has been so so helpful when in a stressed and under pressure. Would recommend speaking to Elliot anytime regarding specific gearbox enquiries as he was very informative and knowledgeable.

The support from Jay was second to none throughout the process, I was kept fully informed at all times. Your engineer was very helpful by highlighting the problem with the Throttle body, which is important for me to know as I want to be able to trust this car on long journeys. Your Low loader pickup man was very helpful too in both pickup & delivery. Excellent!!

Explained everything clearly on phone. Came and collected our car on time. Kept us updated with the work that needed to be done. Once repairs were done the car was returned promptly.

I contacted ASR on the 4th of November regarding my vehicle and the gearbox repair. I spoke to a gentleman by the name of J who was a technical advisor. He took me through the ins and outs exactly what would tell for my repair the very next day I Recovery driver, picked my vehicle up at the time stated And taken to their workshop from that day I was kept informed by J the technical advisor as to how my car was progressing I could not have asked for a better service and to speak to someone who was kind and understanding about my situation, I would recommend this company to anyone because I can guarantee you’ll be 100% satisfied with the outcome of your journey so I’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to J and the rest of the team for your hard work.
