A number of months ago we were looking for additional backup of SQL databases. We contacted Rob at Backup Vault who responded quickly with the information we requested. Within a couple of weeks the solution was up and running against our multiple servers.

One of the key requirements for us was that the data was always retained with the UK for GDPR purposes, Backup Vault met this key requirement.

Backup Vault is exactly what we needed, and Rob is very professional, friendly. Backs up automatically each night, and we do not ever have to worry. Backup data is encrypted and stored in the UK, which is very important to us.

We are Software house and backup clients critical data. We have been using Backup Vault for some time now and have been very impressed with the ease of setup, support from the company and the daily notifications we get as a reseller of their Backup solution. For us GDPR compliant was crucial as with certainty and simplicity of restoring data if needed.

Until last week we assumed the backup would work, (although we had tested in mock recoveries), but had never had a real need for the backup solution, but the proof was in the pudding last week as two clients needed data restored. The process was super easy and very straight forward. The files required could be individually selected rather than restoring an entire database. Minutes later the clients files were restored, they were working again and problem resolved.

For us this was the proof we needed. Seeing a backup work as simply and efficiently as Backup Vault did reassures us that the decision to work with Backup vault was a wise one.

We have previously used some of the leading cloud backup solutions over a number of years, but nobody comes close to BackupVault in terms of ease of use, technical support and customer service. Furthermore, they are UK based and GDPR compliant. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional backup solution.

We’re a firm of accountants and having spent ages backing up vital data each day onto external drives, went looking for a more elegant and efficient method of protecting our business.
Having been recommended to BackupVault, we carried out some due diligence and researched how they could protect our data as well as fitting in with the rather onerous GDPR requirements. Having their servers UK based was very much a priority and complete automation of the daily backup process was a close second. In addition, their hands on support during the set-up process made getting everything up and running so simple.
