collection, and the experience has been extremely frustrating. Despite being under a weekly collection contract, the bins are often left uncollected for 3 to 4 weeks at a time.

Each time, I have to chase customer service before someone eventually comes to collect. Afterward, the same issue repeats itself. We are being charged regularly for a service that is clearly not being provided.

Recently, they even claimed the bin was not presented, despite the bin being placed exactly where a previous agent instructed us to leave it — outside the alley and clearly visible from the street.

Communication is slow and dismissive. Promises are made but not kept. For a commercial waste company, this level of service is unacceptable and unprofessional.

I’ve had to escalate the issue multiple times, and am now considering taking the matter further to the Ombudsman and Trading Standards.

Would not recommend this company to any business that values reliability and accountability

I have contract with them till 2027 but they services are very slow and they lie to me after Tuesday. If it’s client fault then they ask for charges and more pay like I have call them from Tuesday to Friday for bin collection but they said ohh my driver is on your said he will be there soon but no once come and then you try to call them no one answer if they answer they will says the same thing I personally don’t like people who lie

Completely agree with the patronising customer service (in another review below) when 'attempting to' cancel. Make it near impossible and request cancellation communications via the ever reliable postal mail not email... Yet everything else is accepted via email? Tactful delays when information is requested. AVOID unless you like a indefinite contract

Despite an initial long wait for information on our contract, once Alice was involved, I received an excellent, friendly and professional service. Well done Alice for turning things around.

We have been with B&M waste for 3 months now. Started off with invoice queries and weight issues but Angela at head office dealt with this issue very promptly and efficiently. She listened to our issues very well and acted accordingly to resolve in a professional and helpful manner.

We have been working with B&M Waste for several years. After a recent takeover, there were some initial challenges, but things have now settled. Recently, we had the pleasure of dealing with Josh Waters from the customer relations team. Josh was extremely professional, responsive, and efficient in reviewing our account and offering favourable terms. His proactive approach and clear communication made the process smooth and stress-free. Great service overall!

I telephoned to put a cancellation notice in for my bin collection to be told no one could respond for 5 days, However, the receptionist went onto say I would be on an automatic rolling contract so would not be able to cancel, no one could send me a copy of the contract for at least 5 days as it has too be recovered from the cloud! It is appearing that it is just going to be made difficult to cancel the contract yet on so many occasins the bin remains unemptied.

The drivers turn up if they cannot get into the gates and don't call anyone to let them in, they then charge you for an abortive visit. No access or even trying for access lets the driver clock off earlier. I have emailed and been on the phone for more than 40mins each time to get a resolve and no one cares, they will not help as long as they get monies.

Absolute farce of a company. They will arrange call-backs and chase things up, their definition of 'arrange' is certainly different to most as you do not receive any of these.

Do not use this company, go with your local authority.

Angela was extremely helpful and informative. she was able to arrange everything that we needed in a quick and friendly way.

Shouldn't be even 1 star, absolutely joke and charging price from the moon , stealing from people, AVOID AT ALL COSTS !

The service seems to be back on point now.
Had a few glitches here and there and felt in need of possibly changing my supplier but since my new designated account person (Angela D) became involved I have found the service much better.
Quick to reply and easy to get hold of.
So my review is based on my current recent experience since resigning my contract, i feel this justifies the effort made by the company to retain the business.
Keep it up and were all rosy :)

We have been a customer of B & M Waste Services for many years and after the new regulations came in Alice See was very helpful in setting up and talking through all the options available to us as a firm.

Josh Waters is conscientious,empathetic and thinks outside the box.
Due to problems arising from neighbouring companies using my bin, I intended cancelling
my contract with B&M Waste, which i was loathed to do as I have been with them for around fifteen years and have never had any issues .always enjoyed a good service from them.I thought it was the only wayto aleviate the stress being caused by the abuse of my bin. Josh offered alternative ideas ,which worked.
During Covid business interuption,B&M were amazing .They halted the service and restarted as and when it was neccessary .
whilst other companies charged monthly contract payments ,even though we were closed ,B&M Waste never asked for a penny!
Josh has resolved my dilema and my stress levels have returned to normal.
