Excellent customer service! In early January I spotted an apartment for rent — it was exactly what I was looking for in terms of location, price, and everything else.
I contacted Ruben via WhatsApp, and he called me back immediately. The viewing was arranged for the next day. I visited the apartment and it was love at first sight.
As I’m not English, I wasn’t very familiar with the rental process in London. Ruben took the time to explain everything, was super efficient, and always available whenever I had questions. Within 24 hours he told me the landlord had agreed in principle to my offer, and the formal process began.
Thuraya Al-Haidari then handled everything — again, always helpful and attentive. I wanted to change the sofa, the bed linen, etc., and the team negotiated with the landlord so that everything could be arranged for my comfort. On the day I moved in, the apartment was spotless — and there was even a little bouquet of flowers!
I have to say that before this I was renting just around the corner through Draker, and there’s simply no comparison — here they truly care about their clients, not just their wallets as at Draker. A big thank to Thuraya and Ruben MERCI !!!

I was very happy with Benham & Reeves in finding my tenants. I paid 8% commission for their service gladly, but had to pay this over 3 months as the rent came in. They had to advertise, screen tenants, do an inventory and keep a deposit.
To renew the tenancy after 2 years they charged another 8% amounting to £2600; all they did was reprint the current rental agreement and we, the tenant and landlord, signed it digitally. I protested against the £2600 fee but there was no compromise on their fee. Now they ask me to provide a satisfaction survey ! They should have agreed a reduced fee to about 1%.

Had a great experience buying a flat recently with Benham and Reeves. Roman my agent kept me updated throughout the process and was always professional, friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this agency and Roman in particular highl,

60 days after vacating and not a penny of our deposit has been returned not even the undisputed portion. We were model tenants with no issues throughout our tenancy, yet Benham & Reeves are withholding our entire deposit over normal wear and tear and an unissued third-party gas bill they admit they cannot control. Formal legal notice has now been issued. Tenants: know your rights under the Tenancy Deposit Scheme before renting through them.

I am very happy with the letting services provided by Benham & Reeves at their Highgate office. In particular, Ivan Hrissimov is doing an great job.

I have been renting my flat for last 4 years from this agency. I am very satisfied with their services and I recommend them.

The most unpleasant experience I’ve ever had with any estate agency. Was lied to multiple times from a manager, then called the management office who told me to raise a complaint with the person who lied to me. Incredible.
Update: I've since sent an email to the complaints department, they havent bothered to reply.
2nd update: Finally heard from them and the lady who called me is very kind.

Benham has been helping me to find suitable tenant and set an appropriate rental fee that the tenant feels agreeable and I feel satisfied. Each time they find me professional tenants to rent the apartments. Thank you letting agent Dele Laeal to deal with the new tenant for me. I feel happy to have a good tenant. Thanks. Benham also look after the apartment utilities and perform inspections of the apartment to allow the tenant feels comfortable to live there. Thanks again too.

We received a very good service with fast communication by Di and Joanna. Everything was clear and assuring throughout the moving process.

Honestly the best experience I have had with an agent I didn’t get into the exact mechanisms of what is a company policy and what is not but for sure people here are gems who help whenever possible and genuinely advice based on what is best for you rather than try to manipulate you into one option or another because they want to increase their profits …etc.

For the two years I dealt with them I kept being surprised that my thinking of all best cases for me is matched and even surpassed by them any time I ask for advice I even told them that this is genuinely what kept me in until I left the country. I highly recommend them just go in person and explain what you want and need and hopefully you will get an honest opinion which is unfortunately rare these days.
