Super professional, honest and helpful

I have rented in London for nearly 20 years and I have yet to have found a better property agent than Kayleigh Weston. Any problems are sorted within days. It is a pleasure renting from this estate agent because of this incredible agent.

We have been with Benham and Reeves for many years and seen a few managers but the current girl Kayleigh Weston has been exceptional. She is very prompt in sorting things and also controls the expense. Would recommend her

When I first rented through Benham & Reeves, the process was smooth and professional. Unfortunately, everything changed once I moved in.

I have now been without proper heating for over 9 months. Despite countless promises and multiple contractors visiting, nothing has been fixed.

The window issue remains unresolved, even though I was told it would be repaired months ago.

The lift in the building is out of service almost daily, making the flat practically inaccessible for me as I am currently on crutches.

I am paying £2,300 per month, yet the property is not fit for normal living. Instead of taking responsibility, the agency continuously shifts the blame onto others, while I as a tenant bear all the consequences. Compensation has been minimal and does not reflect the reality of living in these conditions.

Benham & Reeves were very helpful when taking my money at the start, but when it comes to actually managing the property and supporting tenants, their service has been extremely disappointing.

Professional agency and Excellent customer service, with lovely and trustworthy people. Rahim is now one of my best friends, and Anne and Maz are always kind and helpful whenever you need them. A great experience overall — highly recommended!

The worst renting experience over 7 years I rent in London

I signed a 36-month tenancy at £2,300 per month (plus bills), and from the very first day the flat was full of issues which should have been fixed before I moved in. Every repair has been dragged out for weeks, emails are ignored, and communication has been dismissive.

One example: the installation of a dishwasher took a full month. Access to my property was even authorised without my consent. On two further occasions I waited at home from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., yet no work was carried out. Only on the fourth attempt was the installation finally completed.

Most seriously, my flat was entered without my permission. As a woman living alone, this left me feeling unsafe and deeply uncomfortable. Security measures were discussed afterwards but never confirmed.

I have been renting in London for seven years, with both Foxtons and Dexters, and I have never been treated this way or seen issues handled with such disregard. The whole experience has been draining, unprofessional, and unacceptable.

Avoid this agency.
