Hände weg von Bikmo

Bei meinem Bike ging der Akku kaputt. Ich habe das am 21.07 gemolden. Im Spätherbst dann eine Absage bekommen. Bei dieser langen Wartezeit habe ich selber einen neuen Akku gekauft, ansonsten wäre die Bike Saison dahin gewesen. Obwohl der Akku im Vertrag stand, habe ich die Kosten nicht ersetzt bekommen, nicht mal einen Teil. Zahlen darf man, nur solltest du die Versicherung nie benötigen, denn dann bist du verlassen. Solch Firmen sollte das Handwerk gelegt werden.

Theft from a train station

My bike was stolen from a train station on a Wednesday, by the following Tuesday my claim was approved, and I ordered my new bike for delivery on Friday. 9 days from theft to riding again, amazing!

So glad to have Bikmo as my insurance company as my bike got stolen, they were very helpful and got my claim sorted quickly .

What a fantastic company! Helpful and pleasant to deal with at all times. Dealt with theft of the bike swiftly and efficiently, despite it being quite a complex case, and paid out in just the same way. Thank you Bikmo and staff 😀

My (almost) new bike was stolen and I…TREK MARLIN BIKE

My (almost) new bike was stolen and I was very upset and disappointed. My claim with Bikmo was correct, fair, fast, smooth and professional. Very friendly people there. Will insure my next bike with them, for sure. I do recommend them very strongly.

Accidental Damage Claim

Bikmo dealt with my accidental damage claim both promptly and professionally. Came off my beloved Trek Emonda after a touch of wheels on a club ride. Snapped the carbon handlebars and smashed the right hand sram shifter/brake lever and also damage to my helmet. Quote for repair and replacement helmet fulfilled and delighted with the service provided.

Replaced stolen e-bike and kit at at full replacement value.

Replaced stolen e-bike and kit at at full replacement value. Huge relief as couldn't afford to do that without insurance support and am back biking within 2 months.
Good communication throughout, even through minor process delays. Far better than van insurance company on almost all counts.

Bike crash and clothing damage paid for no fuss !

After suffering a bike crash and injury [no-one's fault] was super impressed at how quickly, easily and smoothly my claim was processed.

Everything I claimed for was paid without any trouble.

Part of the claim was for bike repairs. When the bike mechanic went to order the replacement bike parts he discovered the parts he had quoted for were actually only available as full components, not the individual parts he initially investigated [thanks SRAM!] so the cost for these parts increased. Bikmo didn't hesitate to pay out for the extra cost for these unforeseen items either as an extra payment after settlement. I wasn't expecting that so super impressed.

Will be renewing my policy next year for sure.

MONEY FROM APPROVED CLAIM NOT RECEIVED SINCE 2 MONTHS

Bikemo approved my claim at the beginning of September and still didnt send money since two months, moreover they do not reply to my emails where I ask for payment.

Great experience with Bikmo!

Great experience with Bikmo Team!

Very professional and easy to deal with. My two 5-year-old bicycles were stolen from a locked communal area in Cambridge. The claim process took about a month — probably a bit longer than usual — as my case required extra confirmation (the thieves had cut through the bike rack, so there were no locks left). Despite that, communication was clear throughout, the process was smooth, and my claim was approved without issues.

I had insured my bikes with all the accessories for their current new market value, and everything went exactly as agreed. Just note there’s a 10% excess if you choose a cash settlement — it’s clearly stated in the policy. I’m now ready to buy a new bike, and I’ll definitely be insuring it with Bikmo again.

Sorting out insurance for my electric…

Sorting out insurance for my electric bike was really straightforward and I had quick responses to check my bike lock as well.
Bikmo help desk was also quick in clarifying my questions on insurance as well.

I just wanted to say how impressed I’ve been with Bikmo throughout the whole process after my bike was stolen. From start to finish, they’ve been incredibly professional, understanding, and efficient. The claim was handled quickly and smoothly, with great communication the whole way through.

It’s never a nice experience having your bike stolen, but Bikmo really made the process as stress-free as possible. Couldn’t recommend them enough!
