Perfect claim experience

Amazing service having had my e-bike stolen. The bikmo team were absolute class in terms of communication and making the claim process so simple. The claim was processed quickly and I can now move forward with a replacement.

Exceptional insurance

I have had to have 2 claims unfortunately with Bikmo. One for a damaged bike and one for a stolen bike. They paid both out with no issues. Was worried about not having receipts but sent pictures with my driving licence and this was ok. Many thanks Bikmo will be with you for as long as I have my bikes

Impressed

Hi, I don't usually go to the effort od commenting or reviewing however in this instance I feel it important to commend the team that I dealt with at Bikmo. The service provided was straightforward, fuss-free, professional and prompt. I would say that to this type of insurance may be a luxury and seem quite expensive, however I can safely say I was really impressed and can highly recommend.

I have been with Bikmo insurance for a…

I have been with Bikmo insurance for a few years now but had to make a claim for the first time for the bike after I had a crash. Everyone from their team was really helpful and they responded quickly. I can’t recommend them enough!

Good morning everyone

Good morning everyone, I would not recommend this insurer because in order to pay you it takes a long time to answer the phone, you have to spend more than three days calling every day and for them to answer your email it takes between four and a week and when they manage to answer you They're lying, it's not safe, you can imagine, in case you have a problem, I don't think they're going to solve it if they solve it, and if they solve it, I don't think it will be that fast, be careful, my experience is being very bad.

The best insurance 'experience' I have…

The best insurance 'experience' I have had. Bikmo made a clear requests for the details required and followed up quickly once I provided them. Comms were good at each stage, they listened to my requests, and I had an identical replacement bike within 3 weeks of the theft (it took over a week to get police details). I delat with 3 different people, but they all had a clear understanding of the case and progress.

Reliable and Best E Bike insurenence

After mybike stolen awfully on my eyes in minutes despite locked it .it was very stresfull and big lost for me economically which I coud not afford to replacing it .But Bikmo team never left me alone at this diffuclt time since i applied for my claim .i cant thank them enough they make me feelt less stressed and solving my claim smoothly .Deepest gratitude to Bikmo and the team helping and informing me efficiently .

Initially, Bikmo appeared to be the best option for bike insurance. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, which instills confidence. Unfortunately, the problems start when you need to file a claim. Bikmo is essentially a front for Hiscox, and dealing with claims reveals their true nature.

My bike was stolen by someone who removed the bike rack using specialized tools. Hiscox refused to pay the claim, arguing that the bike rack could be undone. Following that rationale, any bike rack can be undone with the right tools, making this excuse entirely unreasonable.

I had to appeal their decision four times. It was only when I threatened to go to the Financial Ombudsman that they accepted the claim. Even then, they tried to shortchange me by £500 less than the insured value. Once you have a claim, you deal directly with Hiscox, and the friendly customer service of Bikmo becomes a distant memory. Instead, be prepared to fight against the penny-pinching bureaucracy of Hiscox.

Despite eventually receiving payment, the process was long and stressful. I recommend looking for other insurance options. The ordeal with Bikmo and Hiscox was not worth the hassle.

We have to apply policy conditions fairly for all claims, but I'm glad that we were able to find a positive resolution after a review of your circumstances.
Although you only have your own experience to go by, I can assure you that we do everything we can to support all customers during the claim process and can only apologies for the unintentional error in determining the value of your bike.

Amazing service and assistance received…

Amazing service and assistance received from this company throughout a claim when my very expensive carbon frame suffered a fracture due to a rock strike.

In particular Aaron, who was my point of contact during the claim, and my questions were always answered swiftly and professionally.

Customer for life!

Affordable, clear terms, and great customer service!

Bikmo is affordable and the customer service is excellent. They are clear about their terms, there's no hidden gotcha fine print, and they're quick to process claims. Even when they deny a claim, they're very nice about it and give clear reasons about why. Would recommend!

My brompton completely died on me after…

My brompton completely died on me after the frame cracked. I called bikmo (who should be counselors!) they were so reassuring and Ryan shorted me out and got me back on the bike with a big smile on me and my mental health. They're just great to be with

Excellent and reliable insurance!

Strongly recommended for costly bike. It is important to use the type of lock they suggest for the bike value. I recommend also to take picture of serial number , receipts of bike and accessories, a picture of the bike where it is normally left .

Just as everyone else says, Hiscox will find any reason to reject your claim. Not worth it, look for alternate insurance companies would be my advise.
