Would highly recommend. Great service and lovely company to deal with. Car broke down and when I found out what the issue was I phoned Blackstar Warranties they told me to send in my diagnostic which I did and they immediately approved the claim. The repairer was paid out immediately and there was no quibbles or issues. Lovely company to deal with and gives you the peace on mind that the warranty is there and will pay out.

Car broke down due to issue with gearbox. Just had the repair approved and paid by Blackstar Warranties. Fabulous service and they didn’t try and argue the cost of the repair. They accepted the quote from my garage and paid it. Breath of fresh air to deal with. Thank you so much. Would recommend.

Got an existing warranty that was supplied with the car. Had an issue with the car starting from cold so took it to my local garage who diagnosed it as a starter motor fault. As I got the warranty free with my car I did not expect it to cover anything. I called the claims line and said I had an issue and they asked me to send over the diagnostic which I did and they approved the claim within 15 minutes and authorised the repair. They paid the repairer straight away and before the car was collected by me.

This company is just a scam and you don't want to go anywhere near them. I got a 6 month warranty from them after purchasing a ford fiesta. Within a month my water pump went. They said they would not cover due to wear and tear. The car have 30k miles on it. After another month I had a mis-firing piston, which once again they never covered under the warranty. Basically they don't cover anything or will blame wear and tear. You also can't have any work done while waiting for them to get back to you if they would cover it. Each time I had to chase them after waiting a week. Really disgusting company and don't buy any car from a dealer that gives out this warranty. It's not covered for nothing.

Had a 12 month gold warranty and after 11 months we could hear a creaking/banging from the front of the vehicle whilst we were driving. Called Blackstar Warranties. The help desk was brilliant and very assistful. They said I could either take my car to any vat registered garage or I could use one of their approved repair centres. I opted to use my own mechanic who I have trusted for many years. The vehicle required a replacement steering rack. An estimate was sent through to Blackstar and the claim was approved within under 2 hours. The garage repaired my car and Blackstar paid the garage direct before I had even collected the vehicle. Great company and will be renewing my warranty with them when it runs out next month

I would never ever go with them again and only did so because it came with the car when I bought it.
When I tried to claim for my air suspension on my Mercedes because the air bag was punctured..they said read the small print.
Suspension leg was covers but not the air bag..
And it was supposed to be gold cover..disgracefull
I would not recommend or ever go with them again.

I purchased a car from manor Oak Car Sales and told it had a 90 day guarantee through Blackstar Warranties 0203 146 8732. I was issued with brochures and order receipts etc. On getting the car home there was a gearbox issue and we were told to get the car fixed and send the invoice to them which the garage did The problem was the warranty is invalid and never registered. The garage was never paid and I had to pick up the cost.

I made Blackstar aware of the scam and apart from supposedly making a call they have done nothing to question this practice of fictitious scam warranties. In short they are facilitating the scam by not removing the dealer form their dealer list. They appear happy from the numerous calls I made to warn them.

This is another example of greed over possible loss of life through dangerous cars with no cover or comeback.

Any dealer offering a Blackstar warranty DO NOT TAKE THE CAR UNTILL YOU HAVE EVIDENCE OF ITS REGISTRATION.

This is a scandal of cars being sold fraudulently. Be forewarned, Oakland Car Sales and Blackstar Warranties do not care about the client or their safety. A professional business would investigate this and dis associate themselves from rogue car dealers.

Blackstar company is a big fraudsters. I bought a car from a dealership called S Cars in Oldham, after two weeks, bcos I have not bn driving out due to the lockdown. I went out with the car within 20 miles within 2 weeks of purchase, the car starts a knocking noise, I called the dealership, they told me to call blackstar for repairs, at first I was told my car was not listed among there warranty list, reporting back to dealers, they now maneuvering my car into the system. I got a welcome email. I should take the car to any Vat registered car mechanic. I took it three different workshops on my cost for the diagnostic. They refused to accept the repairs, saying they needed the 'caused of the fault" how can I know the cause? Took it to Land Rover direct, paid again for another expensive diagnostic test again, they said I should provide the cause of the fault which cost hundreds of pounds. I was bn advice to return the car to the dealership, bcos they spoke with Blackstar warranties, they said they can only pay £500 for any repairs. I asked myself why are they doing this?
I now tried to put the case through court claims for selling me unsatisfactory car. On that process the S Car (Dealership) now agreed to repair the car, they finally change the gear box, which cost around thousand pounds plus. They kept me without car weeks without no courtesy car. I was taking the children and going to work with taxi daily.
Now am demanding what was the "Cause of the Fault) and payment for my expensive. They have refused to reply to my complaints and no reason given for the caused of the fault after repairs.
They're doggie and liar's.
I am pursuing a law suit against them.
I spent money for three diagnostic, loss of jobs, stressed and expensive on taxi during all this process. I regretted buying car from S Car Oldham and the imposed Blackstar warranties company.

Had a warranty provided to me from this company. We needed to make a claim. Phoned the help desk and was asked to provide a diagnostics from any garage I chose for the issue with the car. I emailed everything through to them and they authorised them repair within 24 hours and paid for the repair before I collected car. Really happy with the service and would recommend

Absolute joke, have had a claim in now for well over a month 6 + weeks been calling almost daily with the same response someone will call you back, the claims team are looking at it, nobody ever phones back, have just tried calling again now not sure if line is disconnected or down 3 beeps call ends!!! Have had to pay out of our own pocket for the work doing to have the car working as key workers we need a car. Only got the car in back end of November. Terrible service, going to start billing them for our wasted time having too call and chase this up. No one every phones you back no emails nothing. Very disappointed.

What a load of **** when u get a new car check the warranty is not blackstar as it is a big con rude staff when u phone get you to jump through hoops and then say no we don’t cover that . Had three different issues and they did not pay out on any so be aware BE WARNED BE WARNED BE WARNED DO NOT TOUCH IS SO CALLED COMPANY

This company is a load of rubbish. Staff are rude and incompetent, they will find any reason not to pay out. Do not waste your time with these scammers, If I could leave minus stars I would.

worthless warranty couldn't find me a garage in my area told me to find one then questioned every aspect of the quote my garage refused to deal with them i got NOTHING and the car salesmen couldn't give a monkeys

Used this company with my wife's car fortunately didn't have to claim so was still sceptical whether it would pay out. 8 months down the line I got a 12 month GOLD with my 2013 BMW 318d. Quite shockingly had a problem with it within the first 2 months of ownership with the injectors. I booked the car in with a local garage I trust and by the end of the week Blackstar had confirm coverage and paid out so I could be back in the car for the weekend!! Result!! I'm always slightly cautious when it comes to warranty companies as I'd had problems with a very famous motoring presenters company!

Absolute scam had the best warranty they offer and wouldn’t fix a thing just filled me with a load of rubbish conning people out of money
