I love this company! They are so easy to deal with. My brother is seriously ill in Australia & has needed some emergency financial support from time to time, to help buy a wheelchair & things like that. Blue Motor Finance has been so understanding, in allowing me to either delay payments on a couple of occasions, or to be able to change my payment date around. I don't like to miss payments (who does?), but they have helped alleviate so much stress by being so understanding to a situation which no one could forsee. I often drive past their offices during working hours, and I often think about dropping off a box of chocolates or two, just to say thank you!

Common sense is rare in their complaints department. they have 1 case handler and she is useless. Initially, She closed my case without a full investigation and then again sent me to the wrong address to pick up the car, I had to waste my time and money to go to the location and come back. later she emailed that she would be sorting out the car delivery. now after 15 days, she is again asking me to go and collect this car, what an imbecile. how on earth is someone like her had been positioned as a case handler?

The customer service has always been consistently good when ever I’ve called but I bought a car that wasn’t fit for purpose so on the recommendation of an Independent garage I decided to return it within the two week cooling off period. Dealing with the complaints team is a very different matter, they are extremely hard to get hold of, they haven’t responded to my emails and I can’t ever get through by phone. It’s been such a worry for me trying to get this sorted and beyond frustrating. Update - I got a final response from Brian who was dealing with my complaint. He stated in the letter I’d get my payment back in three to five working days , it’s day six now so I’m expecting another lengthy try to get hold of them on the phone! Update number 2! After two and a half hours trying to get through to complaints, customer services informed me the three to five days stated in the letter is not correct it’s 7 to 10. To any new customer, please consider having to go through a complaint with this company before considering using them! They are useless

I have gave 2×because of the complaints department they asked for evidence of repair cost for car I bought I gave them all the receipts and they say it's not enough because the car problems started after the 6 months I had it they say they can't do anything BUTBlue motor finance other department have been so helpful it's a shame just 1 department let's tem down from getting 5× I am now left with bills totaling over 4 grand and no working car

This company are no more than lying crooks - I have sent a DSAR to them to request my old finance agreement but they are claiming that I was never a customer of theirs despite me having a live credit agreement with them from 2006-2010.
Avoid this lying and deceitful company like the plague.

Rubbish finance company. Never get any help. All they want is your money. If your car is faulty they will never investigate the cause and just close the case. Had a complaint twice, but none is investigated thoroughly. Get away while you can. Never again.

My experience with Nina was absolutely delightful and lovely. She was patient and very understanding over the month period that we were in contact. Amy quotations or queries I had she and the team responded to promptly and in a timely manner. I never had to chase a return call and if I missed their call, a courtesy call back was always made. If Nina was on another call her colleagues always tried to assist. My experience with them made me feel comfortable and wanting to continue with the process. As a first time buyer no question was left unanswered and her efficiency was top notch. Thank you Nina and blue team.

I wasn’t going to leave a review of Blue Motor Finance but as they sent me an email asking for feedback to improve their service here goes….
Please do not purchase a vehicle using this company if you value your time and want to keep your stress levels down.
Purchasing a vehicle which subsequently has multiple faults is difficult enough but the lack of consideration and courtesy shown by the Blue Motor Finance complaints department makes the situation even worse. In my experience, phone calls and emails are not replied to. I have had multiple times where I’ve been promised phone calls at a certain time and they haven’t happened. When you ask to speak to a manager in the complaints department, they are never available. They clearly do not have enough staff to manage the number of complaints they receive as each phone call I’ve made has taken an average of 45 minutes to an hour on hold before getting to talk to anyone. However, phone calls to the main customer service or collections departments are answered much more speedily.
Blue Motor Finance will tell you that they will arrange a “full inspection” of your vehicle, this is not the case. The inspection you receive is an inspection of the reported fault NOT a full inspection of your vehicle. This is at best misleading and at worst a lie.
Even when it is clear that you are unhappy, they will close your case and send a generic email:
“Good Evening,
In relation to your complaint, I can confirm a resolution has been reached. Therefore, your complaint has now been closed and your final response letter is attached.
We are sorry you found a reason to complain, we would really love to hear your feedback on the service you received throughout your complaint. If you would like to share your experience so that we can keep improving the service we offer, please pop onto one of the below forums and leave us your comments -
If you have a Google email account

This again demonstrates their complete lack of understanding.

My Son Joe Fraser paid £3500 for this car from Riverview Cars in South Shields, £3000 of that was on finance with Blue Motor Finance....,After driving the vehicle for nearly 4 months doing an average of 1000 miles per month the car broke down and it was recovered to a garage of the dealers choice(a garage they actually own too ) they diagnosed the car and informed me that the Cylinder head gasket and the turbo had failed.....,The dealer stated that it was not covered by their warranty and they would not fix the car. It was then recovered again and sent back to me, the finance company sent out their mechanic to look at the vehicle and then decided that it was drivers error, how can it be my error when coolant and water levels were checked regularly by me and no indication via electrics on my vehicle showed that there was a problem, the finance company then wrote me a letter stating it was my fault???? even the mechanic stated that it could not be driver error so now I am left with a vehicle that will cost me at least £2000 to fix, this is nothing short of being a total disgrace and my solicitor is now looking into it, this finance company are a disgrace and when I was ringing them it could take up to 2 hours to get through to them, I urge you not to use this company as they do not look after the consumers rights. Riverview Cars have a history of selling bad cars if you look on Trustpilot so I would avoid buying from them and keep away from Blue Motor Finance.

Really disappointed and frustrated with the service I am getting from Blue Motor Finance. Initially dealt with Brian and he was really helpful but now I can’t get hold of him and what I thought was sorted now seems it not, which is contradicting the information I originally received from Blue Motor finance and nobody is assisting me to tell me what’s going on and I am really stressed by the whole process. Nobody gets back to me and I am left very stressed and getting no answers from anybody.

I processed a voluntary termination on my car. The process only took maximum 3 weeks. I wrote an email to them advising my right to VT. They confirmed. I paid any money owed. Returned the car. Got the appraisal for the car. Paid a little more to cover some damage on the alloys. They sent me a letter confirming the account is settled. Not once did I feel frustrated or stressed as they kept me informed and spoke to me in a professional manner. Just on this experience I would consider financing again with them.

I approached Blue Car Finance directly after being lied to by the finance broker I was initially dealing with. The sales team - S, B, N and J (Trust Pilot advises not to name names) - and their efforts saved me around £1700 as compared to the broker's offer, which I nearly took before suspecting foul play. They also offered me a lower interest rate, and that helped me to reduce the term of the finance, and I'm still paying less per month than I would have through the broker over a 5 year term!
It took about 6 hours from initial contact with the team to the car dealership receiving full payment, and had it not been after the dealership's closing time when everything was all signed off I could have actually driven my car away the same day! That is in no way a complaint; the dealership already advised it would likely be the next morning that I'd be able to collect the car.
I didn't think I had great credit, and I'd say that because I was straight up with the team and provided them what they needed to help me get mobile, they did their best to get me mobile. And they did it!
Checking in with me to just cover that the vehicle I was applying to finance would be suitable for my needs was a nice touch, and helped me be more certain I was choosing the right vehicle.
