I purchased my car a month ago. I have the policy agreement with blue motor finance but they are not appearing on my credit report and the direct debit payment that was due has not been taken. When I rang up and provided the reference number they said I am no customer of theirs???????????????

Sold a car with an MOT that wasn't legal and a car that has so far needed £800 in repairs in a few months and more needed going forward.
Do not use this company as like me you may end up having to take them to court for saying a resolve was found when nothing was done.
Liars caught in lies and selling finance on cars not fit for UK roads.

Spoke to a customer service representative called Liam, he was really good very understanding explained everything very clearly, no prejudice, no judgment, never had a problem with blue finance they've been more than accommodating, I'm glad Liam is there ,he is an asset to your company

I would avoid at all costs, even if somebody offered me 1 million I still wouldn’t!! There communication skills are absolutely shocking, I have recently just had a court case with them after paying 14 thousand pounds for my car they go against there own policy’s, you probs get a better response from writing on here rather than ringing or emailing them am still waiting for my email to be answered from march 2023.

I took out a car with them and I wanted to at options in paying the balance sooner. I decided that taking out a loan to settle the outstanding balance was more beneficial to me. I asked for the quote and paid it off the same day. The customer service team were helpful, efficient and very friendly. I would consider then again but only if the interest rate wad lower. They served a good purpose at the time

This company give a car had more owners and even sorted request to voluntary termination after 2/5 years and there said my account was closed but it wasn't. I lost of job over them ringing me at work and there said I had payout more car problems and bunch of two face liars I never trusted these ever again. There added on more money I haven't got money . Garage I bought car from permanently shut down after 6 months of buying car and I had major problems with the car. Blue motor finance only gave me options that was either going to damage my credit rating or cost me a lot of money and have no car.
I had to fix the car myself and sell it on to get rid of the finance and lost out on alot of money. Was then giving false information of getting a refund and they offered me no help or anything back on the car at all even though I cleared the whole finance. Worst experience of my life.

From start to finish, I've had no problems. The only reason I've given 4* is because of the complexity involved in obtaining finance for a car. Its been a few decades since I've needed such services and in that time there's been understandably - a great deal of change in the processes involved. Processes which have moved on from triplicate paper documents you sign at the dealers to more complex and involved ones online. I can't attribute this to just BMF because I'm sure, all other Co's are the same no doubt. But at 62 the online processes can get beyond my technical capacity to deal with them. My association with BMF was brief at only 2 months as the car they helped me buy was written off after a no fault accident. Despite this, I have to show gratitude to them for trusting me with their money and giving me the credit as some firms wouldn't help me when I needed it. BMF were quick to respond to email enquiries and efficient with their correspondence to provide clarity on mutual business matters from beginning to end. The extent of the complexities I'm sure can't be attributed to BMF in isolation as I'm sure all other Car Finance firms operate in a similar manner. I guess all Motor Finance Company's also have to protect themselves from fraud and 'blowback'. In short - no problems and not only would I recommend BMF to anyone considering trying to obtain Car Finance, but would approach them again myself should the need arise in future. Perhaps 4.5* maybe a more appropriate award. Mark. Bridlington.

Absolutely horrendous the communication is awful . The complaints team are too few staffed and are almost impossible to get hold of . I spent over an hour waiting in a queue and you can’t even request a call back ( pray for your phone bill ) .
When you do speak to complaints the handler themselves don’t even know anything on the account . If you miss a call from them you will never be able to get back through either .

First time I have had this company for finance, the whole process was very smooth and quick , not even paid my first DD and I requested a faster change, no problems whatsoever!!

Once again this is the 3rd time I have had to put a review on about this company. You seriously need to avoid this company and choose another lender. Please see my previous reviews for full story.
In a nutshell son buys car worth over 15k from large dealership pays about 11k of own money and takes remaining on finance with blue motor finance. He did this in the belief it would award some sort of protection against problems with the car.
Low and behold day after collecting the vehicle he realised the car would crunch when putting it in reverse.
Car was a Mercedes so dealer said take into main dealer to clarify problems then report back. So examination of car carried out by Mercedes who identified gearbox needed repair also had a snapped rear spring which was excessively corroded. MOT carried out day prior to collecting car and nothing flagged about snapped spring or even excessive corrosion. Son tried to reject the car and get refund from dealer within first 14 days but was fobbed off saying See you in court pal. Subsequently son contacted blue motor finance to request car be rejected due to issues which were going to cost in excess of 4k to repair.
This has been a complete nightmare bluemotor finance drag their heels and have no urgency to do anything it is always this might get done by Monday or Tuesday following week then nothing happens. It takes over an hour each time before you get through on the phone and you get nowhere.
The car was eventually collected a few weeks ago 22/8 and yes son was paid his money back he paid as a deposit by blue motor finance on 29/8.
This has gone on and on and son was told to put down expenses as he could claim this. Bearing in mind it sat for 2 months taxed and insured to not move after first few days. Also had to take time off to wait for vehicle collection and time to take to Mercedes as well as cost for Mercedes to inspect the vehicle. None of which returned to son.
Best part is son was told by Leanne complaint manager his finance would be settled immediately upon the car being collected and his credit score would be significantly improved by it being shown as settled so soon.
Well guess what despite Blue motorfinance returning sons deposit as well as the 2 payments he made towards the finance in the time it took them to collect the car. To date 6/9 sons account shows he is 2 months in arrears on his finance and he is due another payment in a matter of days. This adversely affects his credit score.
He was told by Leanne he would receive an email stating all settled and finance cleared weeks ago. This has not happened. Son has now seen another car at a different dealership,after this complete nightmare experience taking months for Blue motor finance to sort and still not sorted.
He is unlikely to get finance on this other vehicle due to blue motor finance not showing his account as settled and shown in arrears. Email sent to company on Tuesday 3/9 but not even a response.
This company is a shambles and I am sorry our experience is appalling. If you are seriously looking for finance advise go elsewhere or you probably could end up with similar experience to us. I would study the negative reviews on here as the positive ones never tend to have any meat on them.
You have been warned this company is appalling and do not do what they say Avoid!!!!!!!!
