Just finished my finance agreement with Blue Motor Finance. From start to finish over the 4 year finance for my car i never had 1 issue. Was so so smooth, easy and fast to get sorted and finished. Stay well clear. Had a number of complaints from a vehicle we purchased through them. Every step of the way we have received no update and we are constantly chasing them. 8 months pregnant with no car and vehicle and can’t be arsed to answer the phone or sort the mess out. No consideration and dam right rude, constant excuses and no matter how many times is send documentation nothing gets acknowledged or done and I’m chased again for the same information. Just utter incompetence and lack of empathy.

After successfully rejecting our car 12 weeks after first getting it due to numerous faults which we started to report on day 11 we have now had an email stating we will only be getting a refund of £112 and our deposit won't be refunded! Blue Motor had the vehicle independently inspected which showed the faults were present at the point of sale meaning we should be entitled to a full refund of our deposit. We will now have to escalate this to the ombudsman to fight for our refund. We had to spend hundreds on the car since we got it and now my wife is due to give birth in two weeks we find out we won't be getting our money back and have had to get another car with a different provider and start it all again. Blue Motor also never answer the telephone. Hard to get hold of. Avoid this company.

We bought a car through Blue Motor Finance which consistently broke down over a 6 month period upon which we sought an Enforced Rejection. You often have to wait 1 to 2 hours just to get through and often you are told they will ring you back and they don't. However despite all the difficulties in getting through on the phone Blue Motor Finance did come through for us in the end. I would now recommend them but be prepared to wait before you get a response. They were always extremely polite even when under pressure and for that they stand out against the competition.

I applied for a finance (HP) through an independent dealership. I have an outstanding PCP and I’m aware there will be a negative equity to carry over. My plan was to pay a small deposit and start the new finance. However, dealer came back to me advising the finance provider will only approve my application if I agree to pay £2.5k deposit….Not everyone has £2.5k laying around available to be used as and when they please 🥴 The lender hasn’t even provided any explanation for their decision. More than likely, it’s all automated/computer generated. But realistically, there needs to be a human input.
This is the first time ever that I’ve been challenged on the deposit part and it’s frankly not sitting right with me. It feels like they’re trying to make some profit right before Christmas/end of year, and the shortfall they must be experiencing from DCA complaints?
So to anyone, who sadly gets referred to this company for finance, if you don’t have a large deposit saved up, you might want to consider your options or start saving up for a large deposit. Especially if you’re planning on buying right before a big event in your life or during the holiday season.

IF I COULD GIVE A NEGATIVE STAR I WOULD .I had an agreement with blue motor car finance made regulare payments from 2017up to covid lock down when I lost my job .after paying over £9.500. ON A £9.000 pound car I phoned them too try and asked my options they told me I had to pay the full ballance of. £8.000 pound which was intrest .which I could not do at the time. I tried to arrange a new payment system. And was told they could not do that. So I ended up giving the car back. AFTR I ASKED THEM 3 TIMES TO COLLECT IT they then took a year to collect it They then auctioned the car and sent me a closing statement. Of £1.800 . Tried to make a complaint no response. So they were investigated by the ombudsman. I have be told they are at fault and are under investigation. I have now have negative credit score and cannot get another finance deal becase of this.BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY..DO NOT TRUST OR TAKE ANY FINANCE WITH THEM
.You can tell by every negative review that the do not value or care about customers or customers situation or even negative reviews when problems arise. You can tell by the same response you get on every comment weather hear or on google it's always the same. EXTREAMLY BAD👎 👎 👎 👎 👎

Worse company I have ever dealt with. Three years I have been paying my loan from them and I have not even missed a payment but they have ruined my credit score saying I have only paid one payment in 2022 (which is not true) I have never missed a payment. I have been paying for a car I don’t own and the person for that car has missed payments and I’ve got penilised and late payment fees. Apparently I don’t even exist in their system. Don’t see why I should pay for a car that they know nothing about.

I brought a car and within 10 minutes of driving the vehicle, the vehicle loss power and wouldn’t accelerate over 30mph. I tried contacting the complaints department to reject the vehicle and I’d been on hold for over 3 hours and I still never got through to speak to anybody. Absolute joke of a company.
