From the initial enquiry with Blue Motor Finance, they have been so helpful. I called with a very specific car that I wanted and the gentleman helped me find it. I have recently paid off the finance and received an email without prompting BMF to offer a refund of over payment. Great service and fast responses via email. Online service is also easy to use.

I'm retired and needed a loan for a car. Despite having sufficient income to cover the repayments my bank and several other well known "high street" names all declined my application because I wasn't able to give them documentation on the pension income and because the available amount of credit on my credit cards was higher than my annual income, even though all of them had zero balance. Blue Motor were able to determine affordability my income by analysing my bank transactions and actually noted that I had never incurred interest payments on any of my credit cards because I regularly pay the balances on the statement due dates. Their customer support is excellent. You can always get a quick response to any queries through their website. I recently paid back the loan and would use them again if needed.

The only finance company which did this to me so far - i had one of my cars financed through them (at 19%APR)
I have confirmed a full early settlement payment and received all the confirmation back from them that the full loan amount has been paid and that the direct debit has also been cancelled.
They have still continued to take the direct debit payments from my account even after and nobody is assisting me to help with a refund (sounds like a low level scheme so far). I have sent e-mails and phone calls and now i have been told that i have to wait for aprox. 10 days to receive the refunds. Absolute disappointed with this treatment and schemes.

Incredible supportive during an uncertain time, when my car broke I was unsure what I would be able to do as I still have finance left to pay.
Thankfully I was put through to Charlotte, who was calm, compassionate and took the time to go through all my options in a very stressful and uncertain time. She made sure I didn’t jump into anything without thinking about it.
I have since called back to chase up my car collection and again was met by Charlotte, who made me aware of the process.

Have just finished a car finance loan with BMF and I have to say they’ve been fantastic.
During the Covid lockdown they were one of the first of my creditors to openly offer help and were great throughout.
Very quick to respond to emails and very professional and helpful. I would honestly recommend this company.

PLEASE AVOID! COMPLAINTS DEPARTMENT IS SHAMBOLIC! ***Please read before taking out finance***Absolute regret of my life taking out a finance with this company. The initial sales part was great, very responsive unlike when dealing with complaints.
I had an engine failure a month after buying the car (within the 3 months warranty) and the car was towed away to the dealership. This company's (BMF) complaints department is shockingly awful. Its difficult reaching anyone and the person meant to be handling the complaints didn't contact us in the space of about 3 weeks. Not once did they bother asking me for a counter-supporting evidence against what was being clamed was my fault. I was blamed for the engine failure through a bogus process which was predictable because the dealership phoned me the day after they received the car trying to pin the blame on me even before the engine was assessed (misfuelling) and it was same thing BMF told me based on a one-sided process. The closing email from BMF was contradictory based on NO CONCLUSIVE EVIDENCE. IVIS were meant to carry out an independent assessment but were not given access to do so by the dealership and I was told by BMF that the report by the assessor chosen by the dealership was inconclusive so were going to ask IVIS to go but that NEVER happened and went ahead with the same report they had previously admitted was inconclusive. Its been extremely stressful and I've had to spend time in hospital during that time. I am now preparing a lawsuit against them for the mishandling of the complaints process and the effect its had on myself and my family which will include evidence they never bothered asking from myself. Contrary to the claim that the vehicle was in great condition when we got it is interesting because in the initial complaint to BMF, I pointed out how the brakes were dangerously worn that I had to replace them (cost almost a grand) within 2 weeks of buying it and I have video evidence, receipt, physical brakes etc which is part of a wider proof the car was never meant to have been sold in the first place in its condition.
Alice Baker was the one who sent the initial closing email and reforwarded by Evie Odey (who's meant to be a senior apparently). My husband trains companies in Customer Experience and has been left speechless by the non-existence of a proper complaints process at BMF.
I don't recommend risking getting a finance with BMF because if you raise a complaint, it might surprise you how badly the process can get.

I requested a reduced payment to help when I lost my job/home. I immediately started paying again including towards the arrears. They update my credit file with ‘missed payment’ every month. My credit rating is wrecked even though the outstanding balance comes down every month, how is this missed?
To top it off I called today to ask if my direct debit was in place correctly as since January I have had to call to make payment and be treated like I’m trying not to pay.
Today’s call was with an incredibly rude woman who clearly needs lessons in customer service.

Worst company to deal with too many departments that end up telling you they will get back to you which never do communication is poor and having to pass security 4times on the same phone while being passed around also waiting 20+ minutes they will cover there tracks be careful read all the finance paper work do not sign on the day but if in doubt do not use worst company
