I came across Bollard Security while searching online after being turned down by several gate suppliers due to the design of my driveway. Communication was excellent from the start, with quick responses via email, phone, and WhatsApp. Richard, who owns the company, was very knowledgeable, informative, and happy to answer all of my questions.

On the day of the installation, the team fitted three Warrior Rise bollards. From digging the holes to connecting the electrical supply, everything was carried out efficiently, professionally, and with great attention to cleanliness. The bollards themselves are extremely solid and have already attracted positive comments from people passing by.

The installation team were friendly, hardworking, and completed the entire job in just one day. They also went the extra mile by carefully lifting the block paving, removing weeds from the roots, and laying concrete and gravel in one area of the driveway to ensure everything looked neat and tidy once finished.

I would highly recommend Bollard Security for anyone looking for reliable driveway security, excellent customer service, and a hassle-free experience.

I am writing this review to share my recent experience with Bollard Security regarding their S14 HD 670 Lift Assisted Telescopic Bollards. While the initial promise of a secure solution was appealing, the reality has been far from satisfactory.

I purchased these bollards in July 2024, and within a year, both myself and a neighbor (whom I had originally recommended to the company based on their sales pitch) began experiencing significant mechanical issues. The internal mechanism makes it extremely difficult to operate the bollards, particularly in wet weather. Currently, we are effectively left stranded: we either have to struggle immensely to close them, leaving our cars exposed to potential theft, or keep them up and lose the ability to leave our driveways entirely.

Despite reaching out multiple times to arrange a service visit, communication has been poor. I have been given assurances that I am on the 'booking in system' and that someone would be in touch, yet weeks have passed with no concrete resolution or follow-up. It is deeply disappointing to invest in a premium security product only to be met with silence and inaction when the product fails.

I would advise potential customers to exercise caution and consider the long-term support - or lack thereof - before choosing this company.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Installed within 4 days of making contact, fair price and quality of work was even better than I expected. Really neat job and smart looking bollards. I’m embarrassed to say that I love my new bollards. Must be a middle age man thing!

Very friendly, very helpful. The bollards are very good quality, we had 2 installed across a 5 metre driveway. The guys all work directly for the company and were very nice. Neat and tidy, took all the spoil away and you wouldn’t have known they were there. Pricing was clear, though not the cheapest option, defo worth it. No deposit unlike others who wanted 70% deposit etc. Would definitely recommend

After having my car stolen, bit embarrassing as a police officer, decided we needed to strengthen our prevention. Richard was more than helpful offering advice and support we order two manual bollards, that Richard upgraded to assisted.
The guys turned up early, were super friendly, clearly very experienced, and did the most amazing job, finish is fantastic, bollards are easy to use, and think I shall have my first good nights sleep for a couple of weeks.

We have had a wonderful experience with this company - they were so helpful and responded very quickly to our needs. The resulting work was top class and the fitters were both really courteous and efficient. A couple of years on, our story remains the same - all systems are in place for customers to leave messages about their needs (eg replacement keys) and response time was impressive - we have dealt with Richard before and he never fails to impress with a very personalised approach - friendly, honest and a delight to deal with! The team at Bollard Security were incredible in turning around our bollard installation quicker than anticipated. Prices were more than fair, and the team went the extra mile for us to ensure the bollards were fitted correctly as we have a full gravel driveway. I would highly recommend them as they were recommended to us, and did not let us down. I first spoke to Richard on the telephone and ordered online having read reviews of the company. 4 days later including the weekend the D4 bollard was expertly fitted by Caleb the same day as promised but much later than expected due to a previous job taking longer than expected

The service from start to finish was excellent…Richard talked me through the various options and I arranged the work to be done at my convenience…Caleb came and installed the bollards taking time to set out and position to my instructions…he made a first class job of the work and making good…I would thoroughly recommend this Company to supply and install

Unbelievable experience - Richard couldn’t have been more accommodating in getting me the right product. Kenny and the team on site were master craftsman with our cobbled driveway and a couple of cups of tea later they got all done in day, including worked past sunset to get it done.

What a great find! My car was sadly stolen a few weeks ago and we started to look for a security bollard. I tend not to use companies I find on the internet and prefer recommendations from friends or family, however; no one knew anyone who could do this well, so I took a chance on Bollard Security… and I am thankful I did!

Richard (owner and customer liaison) is fantastic, genuine (hard to find with trades people), understanding and professional at all times! This was also the case with the fitter, who was clean, diligent and took pride in the work.
