Often the best way to judge a business is how they react when things go wrong. I received a delivery from Builders Superstore last week and part of the delivery was missing. The problem was, I didn’t realise this until Saturday lunchtime, then the business was closed, yet I needed the job finished before Monday morning. I sent an email to them and they agreed to meet me at their depot out of hours at 9am the following morning so I could collect the missing bits. Well above and beyond the call of duty

From purchasing to delivery was super fast. Upon arrival I decided I would prefer the black trousers I ordered in grey instead. They replied fast and was happy to help.

Ordered an item as it was reasonably priced (£450+) and offered next day delivery FOC. Great. Didn’t hear anything for a week, no dispatch email, no delivery. Called them up and told “oh it’s not in stock, won’t be for a while”. Brilliant, a waste of a week and my customer was let down. Was then told “call back on Monday for a refund”.

Good prices online, but awful customer service.

If ordering online, check that your item is in stock otherwise they’ll just assume you’re happy to wait.

Ordered two pairs of trousers for my son.slight delay on delivery due to one pair having to be ordered.communication was excellent.had to be returned due to son giving wrong size.again slight delay on delivery but kept up to date with progress.in today's climate I was very happy with product and service and would highly recommend.small delays out if control of company and would definitely use again.

Communication on the order up to despatch was great. I assume this was because it was all automated.
The order arrived in good time but was incomplete.
Since then I have emailed the only published email address: info@ builders..... twice over the past week to see if the remainder of my order could be shipped on.
No replies so far. As a former company director with responsibility for customer service, I would have thought a week is a generous amount of time to await a reply.
I've now ordered the missing component from another supplier and will again try to make contact via email, sending an invoice for the additional order in the expectation of getting a credit.

I’ve bought tanking kits and snickers always had a great experience.

The team there especially Paul H have a amazing knowledge of the market if I ever need any help or any questions they are always on hand to point you in the right direction.

Never had any problems with delivery it’s always been next day at no extra cost.

Brought a stitching kit as price was decent. Only the Rods arrived. I called them twice to which I was told someone would get back to me and sent 3x emails to which all were ignored. I had to fork out and buy the kit elsewhere so am now out of pocket and still no answer from these guys. Terrible customer service and have also been informed by a few others that they have only recieved half their orders. Stay clear

My delivery did not fit in my letter box and was left fully hanging out all weekend while the office was closed. Somebody must've stole this and the company did not care.

I contacted the Builders-Superstore to report this and get a new pair of trousers sent out. I was passed to the Managing Director 'Steve' who told me 'S**t happens there's nothing I can do. Phone the courier yourself I am not going to be out of pocket'. Steve was very aggressive and wouldn't let me speak. I am very shocked that a Director would speak to a paying customer in this manor and as long as he has been paid not interested in the customers satisfaction.

I would avoid using this company if you actually wish to receive your goods.

Brought some work trousers 2 weeks ago still haven’t received them, I’ve emailed twice and no reply.. they were quick enough to take the money though. Now sorted

Ordered a transformer and 110v cables 2 Clock and they were here 9.30 next day.What service.also cheapest I could find on the internet and quality is superb.Will use this company regularly now
